Selyna breathed a sigh of relief and looke up, but not enough to look directly in the face of the man. Everybody knows that's just TOO disrespectful. As I'm sure you already know my lordship, I was sent after Spyse for her treacherousness to our senior councilman, however I failed you and let my feelings for her and a man get in my way. Because of that man I came here to find that he didn't truly love me, but then found a different type of love, a motherly love in a girl here. I wish to keep her as a daughter, the man as a husband, and Spyse as a friend. What am I to do, your lordship? Do I take what life is all about, or do I destroy it all and take what the council has told me life is about? She looked pleadingly without looking into his eyes, desperately trying to not lose her composure in front of him, her dirty body shivered and strained in front of him.

Darenos quietly landed in a clearing, and returned to his Drow form. He sighed and sat in the snow covered plain his back against a tree. The cold didn't bother, it rarely ever does. He looked around the quiet night, and slammed his head back. He then stood and drew his longsword which immediately took flame and he began to swing it around. Finally he dropped to his knees sticking the blade into the frozen earth, he looked upto the sky and a deep and loud roar came from him, one roar that was so loud that it could be heard for miles.

Darenos ends his loud roar and his head drop, his hands still holding on to the blade. Tears streaking silently down his face, he says nothing and doesn't move, until he hears a footstep out in the forest. He quickly pulls the blade from the ground and go into a fighting stance awaiting for what ever the thing was to come out and attack. He was caught off gaurd though, instead of a creature, it was a beautiful druid, her skin was as pale as the snow, and her hair matched the the frost on the lake. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, a winter fairy. No one has ever gotten to see one closely, they are very elusive. Darenos placed the tip of the blade onto the earth and knelt down on one knee, his head bowed.

Crystal ran out into the forest with her sword in hand. She was trying to track the nose she heard. As the nose slowly starts to fade into the air she stopped. Crystal looked for any track or signs of movement.
"He must have flown..."

The Winter Fairy walked with a quiet and powerful dignity, silently making her way upto the dragon. She placed a hand under his chin and lifted his head up and smiled. Darenos was afraid, he was uncertain on what the fairy knows. She looked into his golden eyes for awhile then spoke to him, her voice sounded like a song unsung for eons.
"Why do you make such a noise, Black Dragon?"
She asked quietly, Darenos couldn't look away from her beauty.
"My kin are dead, oh great Fairy..."
He said, another tear appearing in his eyes.

Crystal slowly made her was to the clearing. She did't step past teh tree line so she would stay hidden. Crouching low to the ground she saw Darenos and the other thing.

The Winter Fairy looked at him a little and then her head quirked to her right side.
"Your children are dead? How can this be? They are Black Dragons...They have more power then some Golden Dragons..."
Darenos still looking in her eyes, his tears flowing freely, though it did not show in his voice.
"Haven't you felt it? The age of Magic is coming to an end, and a new age will come...To many of our brethren have been slain or captured for the other's gain...Oh Great Fairy, what are we to do?"
Darenos asked unsure for once in his life what to do.

Crystal sunk to the ground as she listened. she felt bad for Darenos and his loss. She leaned back against a tree as she stayed quiet.

The Fairy slowly removed her hand from his chin and looked straight at Crystal. She then pointed her finger exactly to the position of the girl.
"Come here little one, stop hiding from a Fairy..."
Darenos hid his ebony sface away, trying to remove the tears.

eek "eep.."
Crystal looked aroud the tree to see she was looking at her. She quickly stood up and put her sword away as she drug her feet. Softly she started biting her lower lip as she looked at the two.

The great Fairy smiled at the girl. Darenos finally turned to look at her his golden eyes now a little duller. The great Fairy looked at the girl closely.
"So you are the one named Crystal... Right?"
She asked politely.

Crystal quickly came to a stop as she said her name. She looked to the Fairy then to Darenos, as if asking if it was safe. Slowly she nodded yes to her.

"Ah... now it makes sense on why Darenos has been in this form longer then his others..."
The Fairy said looking at Darenos now. He quickly straightned when she said that last line. It caught him completely off gaurd, and it showed too. The Fairy laughed slightly.
"Darenos, do you think me that in touch of the world around my home?"
Darenos was unsure on how to answer that question, so he shook his head. The fairy nodded and turned her attention back to the girl.
"So you are the one with Lady Nine's memories? Don't worry, I am not a threat, you may not be so afraid of me..."

"Um... how do you know so much about me?"
Crystal asked softly. She was still nervous being the Fairy. She fingeres danced around th hem of ehr close as she still kept her eyes on the ground.

Quietly the Fariy chuckled.
"This is my home, little one. Of course I know almost everything about this place. I know that you have to go fight a pit lord by the name of Baatezu...Do not worry though... with Darenos by your side, you can defeat him. He might be an old Dragon, but he is very wise."
She said with a smile, looking at Crystal being uncomfortable. Darenos walked upto Crystal and placed an arm around her.
"Do not worry, this fairy can help you...just ask her and she will answer you... If you need a strong back, let me help you..."
