:: the bird turned around and hoped back over to its previous perch. Now visible, as if just merely over looked before, was a set of levers. They looked identical to the casial observer. The crow tilted its head a bit, "speaking" again::
What do you know of power?
~*~In the forest~*~
::little by little the sounds of the birds began to die out. It was gradual enough that it would take a few moments for them to even notice. Whether or not this was illusion would be hard to tell, since the path had never actually curved and the forest was not identical to the area that they had actually been in before. The marks did look similar, but were they the same marks?::
::the forest was quiet now, only the sound of the winds through the trees::
(ooc: had to clarify some stuff since this really isn't supposed to be a "lead in a circle" sorta deal. I got a plan, no worries. But I couldn't really give you guys any clues if all you did was "walked around looking for something suspicious" or "waited for an attack" Now that you guys are actually taking real action we can move to the story ^.^)

Hinata-sama ~*~Forest:Selestria~*~ Jan-ou ::the wolf lead them to another group of three wolves, the young pups could be seen in the other clearing, frolicking and playing with each other, the midwife watching patiently as one of them climbed up her back:: It is in this time that the village will need guarding the most. They have defenses but admitedly they are getting weaker. They have no true form of warrior, hence, I beleive, one of their reasons for seeking peace. Kaji looked at the wolf and said, "Shall we head back to the village and wait for her to return there. Or stay at the enterance of the forest?" Kaji wanted to know what they were going to do, most of the other students have been silent as of now.

Kat took a step back as the crow stepped towards them. She raised an eyebrow as it seemed to speak. She looked at it questioningly and waited a moment before responding to the bird.

arrow desert town:
Sarume saw Ademu jump into the middle of the raiders, all looking pretty fierce and armed to the teeth. Personally, she thought he had a death wish. She had to do something to help.
"Kanashibari no jutsu!" (Body freeze skill, for the Japanese illiterate) She was trying to freeze all of the raiders to give Kuro, Ademu, or herself a chance to extinguish the fire arrows.

((I'm back...))
In the desert
Kuro was still laying low. With the two of them cloaked under the vines, it was virtually impossible for them to be detected, but the jutsu was hard to maintain in this climate, eventually they'd have to come out in the open.
"We have to move." He said plainly just before the vine started to wilt and retreat back into the sand. He stood from the hiding spot and cut across his left arm before forming a hand seal.
"Doton." He whispered as his body began to sink into the sand. A moment later, the ground from beneath the raiders seemed to move. Very slowly, almost going unnoticed, plants see to pierce the surface, reachign out for the legs of the horses. Although they were small at first, they began to wrap around each other to grow thicker.

"Wait, those marks aren't the same as the ones you made earlier! See those two marks there? And the leaves are slightly lighter... What could that.... We're not in an illution at all!" She looked at Mamoru to see what he said.

Mamoru studied that marks "Hmm..your right..maybe we are getting somewhere? I think we should continue walking and see what we come across..what do ya think?" Mamoru slips his arm around Tegatus, almost as if he was claiming her from all the other guys. Really possessive dude....

(ooc: ok guys, I'm really sorry about this, but my posts are probably going to be few and far between for the next day or two because I have midterms the end on thursday and they are going to take some major studying. It would be best to take you back to the village. There you can prepare them for what may come. I do not see the boars taking well to the offer of peace. I know that Selestria can take care of herself, but it is the villagers we must worry about, not all of them know very well how to protect the wall.

Kat was confused on how exactly to answer these questions. But she did to the best of her ability. "Power will drive you crazy. I mean its good to have to be considered usefull but too much and you will turn evil. As for believing in something. I believe that we can all do whatever we set our minds to." she paused and took in a breath for she had spoken rather quickly. She stood up tall as she was proud of her answers.

"Defending the village from the boars, eh?" Kasushi smiled a little bit, speaking half to himself. There was a question burning a hole in his skull. "Would that require lethal force?" The situation seemed far out of the capabilities of Academy Students. But a little excitement never hurt...

(ooc: oo ooo another quickie! after this is back to studying abnormal psych!)

::the woods were still quiet, the wind rustling the trees but even that seemed to die out after awhile. The woods remained still and it would feel as if many pairs of eyes were upon them, yet nothing was revealed. The sun was beginning to set behind them::
(ooc: ya'll were about to head in the right direction then ya'll stopped and stood on the path some more, I can't really do much with that, I'm trying to give hints though)
~*~Desert~*~
::the horses were beginning to panic and the main group of raiders broke, those that could anyway. The leader raised his hand to the air and down from the sky came what appeared to be orbs of fire. They began crashing all around, some even landing behind the city walls. Another birst of flame came from his hand, engulfing him and the horse upon which they road. The raiders were now in retreat, their leader now gone from sight::

::the crow bobbed his head up and down a little, looking from lever to lever for a few moments and then looking back over to Humbra::

Any actions that you deem appropriate against the boars in order to protect the village will be acceptable. Though I expect you to act with compassion even if your enemies do not. But do not let that compassion blind you either.
