I got my oil changed today. I was wearing my Superman shirt, so when the big burly black guy came up to get my info to pay, I just waited for it.
"So...did you leave your cape at home?"
"Yes, I sure did!"
At least he didn't yell "HEY! SUPERLADY!" while I walked by. rofl

I usually only get a chance to make it out to one big con a year, so I like to make it count. And, much as I despise their business practices, I'm getting the best bang for my buck around here at Hobbystar's Fan Expo Canada. It's divided itself into sections: Sci-Fi/Comics/Horror/Anime/Gaming. Normally, I really only care about Comics and Horror, possibly Sci-Fi depending on the guests. They've been releasing the guest lists for each section on a week-by-week basis in that order. Now, they aren't releasing the Horror guests until this Friday, but Bruce Campbell's official website tells me he will be in attendance.
*fangasm*
Also, Matt Fraction, Terry Dodson, Mike Deodato Jr., Olivier Coipel, Len Wein, Lou Ferrigno and Linda Hamilton. Joe Quesada too, but he only makes me angry.
It's times like this I wish more of you were Canadian so you could share in my fangasming. I mean, most of the above list I'm not incredibly partial to, but BRUCE FRIGGIN' CAMPBELL. If I'm not mistaken, he's currently listed under the "Religion" category of my Facebook.

Thank you. The entire graduating process has been very stressful, horrible, and highly anti-climatic; but it's very nice to be finished.
Good luck on your paper! Is there a limit on how many times you can take it?

No, that's it, I can't do this anymore. I increased the bust size three times already, I cannot make them "bigger, like in the original drawing," WHERE THEY WERE SMALLER!
I don't know what you want! I can't tell! All I can conclude is that you are BLIND because if this chick gets any more busty, I might as well just erase the robe and call it porn. I don't care if that's where she stores her chi, this is getting absolutely ridiculous.
I will of course be much nicer when I tell you this, but damnit, I need to scream somewhere and it might as well be here.

Good luck on your paper! Is there a limit on how many times you can take it? yeah, pretty much so long as I got it done by the 13 (today) that the dead line. Luckily I finished my re-write yesterday and placed it in his box at school. Which...I PASSED! YEAH! I GOT AN A IN ENGLISH! IN YOUR FACE FATHER WILLCOXSON!

Well, as of yesterday around 1230 hundred, I official swore in myself as property of the U.S. Army!
I've been working on getting this set up for the past few months when I saw my personal job was going to be getting slimmer, and I was probably gonna be next on the chopping block soon, I knew it was time for a contingency plan. So I went to the recruiter's office after some deep serious thought back at the end of February.
After jumping some through hoops to make it to this point, I swore in officially as an E3 (Private First Class) to go in for 88M (Motor Transport Operator) ....or actually just a truck driver! xp Got myself a $20,000 sign on bonus and the G.I. Bill.
So all in all, things are working out because I'm gonna be a mooch and live on unemployment all summer 'till Oct. when I ship out for basic.
I know I'm not THAT influential around here, but I'm just so happy and excited I wanted to share on here as well!
Also, come October 6th I'll be gone for basic. But I will of course show up again afterward, so don't think the Kapow's Wolverine'll be gone for ever!

Thanks! biggrin
And not really, no. I'm really excited. I want to go sooner, but I've got to wait so I'll wait.
I'm a little nervous, admitedly. But I want go. I'm ready to move on, but it works out 'cause I get to spend my last summer and birthday here so I'm gonna enjoy it.
