The Chuunin's looked at us as we walked through the gate. One of them thought about saying anything but just shrugged as we walked through the gate and along the road. We would probably make it to the Hidden Sound in five maybe six days.

The Ninja didn't even bother us as we left. Had they been told not to...or had they not been told to come and get us. I carried on walking up the unpaved road.

I wondered if we would encounter anyone. I hoped not.

Psychofish "Ah... okay... well, umm..." Kojiro was taken aback, thrown way off despite not being able to see the hitai-ate she gestured to, or the amusement in her eyes. "I... well, I don't like crowds, or even places with a lot of people too near each other, like the villiage here seems to be, more so than Kirigakure at least. I've... never put a lot of thought to what I like or do not like, I suppose I could think of something, but not a lot else than that stands out... um... I do like quiet, secluded places, especially in nature, best if there's a river or something." Kojiro wondered why exactly he continued to speak as he did, though maybe it was just because he felt backed into a corner. "I had a tiny old apartment of my own back in Mist, nearer the edge of the city. I moved away from my family several years ago, as soon as I could live on my own after going blind. They were... kind of average, I suppose. There was a little bit of... strict pusing toward accomplishment, and I guess that's rubbed off on me some. Not being blind, I would have been jonin by now, almost certainly, and I'm spend most of my time now... trying to make up for lost time." Kojiro shrugged, starting to feel a little bit more relaxed, if only slightly. "Well.. I-I think that's everything you wanted to know... oh, my eyes... well... that's kind of a long story, but it was an injury during a mission, several years ago. I wouldn't bother you with details." Not usually self concious about his blindness, he suddenly did start to feel a little so, though it was as confusing to him as everything else. Kaida nodded and sped up slightly. "If you like nature, then I think you'd like our house. It's in the middle of nowhere just outside the village, right next to a little brook. I like to go there and think, sometimes."
She opened the door and walked into the little store. She nodded to the store owner, a long time family friend, and headed straight to the sake section. It was located in what was known as the long lost sea of alchohol. To most, at least. Kaida knew it was the one place in the store where she could find top grade booze at discounted prices.
She made a beeline for her favorite brand, White Ape Sake, and scooped up three large bottles. She cuddle them into her chest momentarily, before turning around and making her way to the register.
She quickly argued with the cashier, claiming that the sake was going to expire in a mere two days. She was able to get ten percent off. She huffed slightly, then turned and started looking for Kojiro.

A bar he would've headed into, but without the tell tale signs of smell of strong alchohol stifling him, or sounds of the people inside, instead a quiet clean atmosphere, it was obviously a shop. So he stood by the door, waiting quietly until she came back out.

So he stood by the door, waiting quietly until she came back out. Kaida wandered out of the store, then spun around to face Kojiro. She stared at him pointedly. "So, I take it you really don't like stores, either. Well, unless you want anything else, I guess it's time to go back to my house." She raised an eyebrow, inviting him to say something. "Well?"

"Eh? Well..." he shifted away from the door, standing straight, and brushing imaginary dirt off his clothes. He couldn't see any of her gestures, and he wasn't skilled enough yet in his training of his families specialty to make out things like moods from action of the chakra, but he voice told enough. "Sure. There's nothing else I have to do here." he said, hanging his head a little. Was he being a bad guest? Would it really matter if he was? This was the trouble with being around people, it raised too many questions without answers.

Kaida waved her hand. "Oh, don't be so nervous. My parents will probably be all over you for about ten seconds and then forget you're there. Literally," she moaned, remembering all the times when she had come home from a long vacation.
She shook her head and started to the wall of Konoha. "Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable, but my dad is usually really loud when he's not drunk-asleep, and my mom is just plain obnoxious. I'm lucky not to inherit any of their...special qualities besides my bloodline."
She paused, walking in silence momentarily. "Just for future reference, if you need a place to be alone and just sit in the quiet, I can show you a nice hollow that I like to visit near my house," she offered.

Shinrei stared to walk out of the village, his eyes were semi closed and his hands were currently on his pockets, anyone could notice that he was half asleep, but he was really determined to end his training before they presented him to his new sensei and team mates.
As he walked he sensed the presence of a weak nin and stoped looking at the trees in the area, soon enogh he found a little girl around the same age as him, he smiled as he saw that she too carried a forehead protector and decided to say something, but of of course talking to girls was not his thing so he just waved at her expecting a positive reaction.

He followed her movements with his eyes asshe stared to go down to where he was. He took his hands out of his pockets and moved his scarf down under his shin so his face was visible. And with a smile he waited for her.
