Duellist Bertram blushed. "Um... 70 years, ghost and wraith, Ikue..." his voice was soft, embarrassed. "Um... so..." he was't good at conversation either, especially not with girls. "what about... you? How long have you been an... um... exorcist?" Bertram had always believed that they were old men, dressed in robes carrying crosses. A beautiful young woman was something new. ((Sorry! Watching Ocean's 11, a bit distracted.)) (( Lol, it's alright. )) "Well, around a month.. I.." Ikue glanced around a bit, seeing if anyone was listening to their conversation. Her voice lowered to a whisper, but loud enough for Bertram to hear. "I only discovered my sixth sense a month ago when I moved into Durem, and I also learned that my mother is a medium herself. I haven't actually performed any exorcisms before, but my mother told me that mediums had to be compassionate people. If there's a spirit that cannot seem to continue it's path towards Heaven for some reason, it is our job to help them.. Usually, the reason would be that another spirit, an evil one, is holding them back.. I have yet to learn to use my abilities..." The young girl let out a sigh and chuckled. "Not only that, but I have to deal with my school work as well."

][Sorry about the slow replies. Lacking.. Something. o.o; I could match your post again, I think.. However, I'm going back to my happy little paragraphs. ninja ][
Hakan would spot the person in the door. The source of his fear was right there, rigght there in front of him! Hakan refused to cower. He refused to back away! He refused to let this fellow demon know he was intimidated. He would take in a gulp of air and stand up from his cowering position.
He wouldn't even offer that demon a greeting, oh no! He would simply give him that devilish stare. He refused to let himself believe there was someone out there whom was stronger then he was. He refused to reconize this demons stregnth and potential. Instead, he would turn his back on his rival, and go about waiting for Mimi.
However, he could no longer amuse himself with perverted thoughts. Oh no, his mind was bathed in darkness now.

((i'll ease up on my posts a little. I just really like to describe my character and then usually get lazy lol. Basically I plane walked earlier and dropped my character in your cemetary, then went to the hotel because I heard people there and now i'm at the door waiting to be greeted))

XD And would someone be so kind as to brief me as to what has happened?)) ][-This- is going to take a while, maybe.. xd Well, actually in short, Hakan and Mimi had a pillow/tickle fight, and sooner or later fell asleep sunconsciouslly snuggling each other for warmth. Mimi has just now ordered pizza, Hakan is having perverted thoughts, and now has a new rival, Abe. Something he has actually come to fear! xd It's going to be fun playing a grimmer Hakan now.][

It's kind of inspired me to try and post better.. However I don't want to end up taking a super long time to put down a post. No matter how interestin I could make it. The difference in lighting was too much for him, especially after his astral form had already adjusted to a set amount of light, and he was forced to focus his eyes on an even more intense light, with his physical form. It made his eyes water up. Maybe I should've left them fogged over, he thought to himself, bringing his hands to his face to guard himself from the light long enough to situate himself and become comfortable. He didn't belong in this realm, or in this body, and little things like this really stimulated him, and more often than not, rubbed him the wrong way.
He yawned and looked down - waaaay down - at the first person to show himself and greet this noble guest. He showed no malcontent, and wondered why he didn't get so much as a formal hello. He leaned forward, trying to close the gap between him and the littler demon. "Hello," his voice boomed, or so it seemed booming. "Can you tell me who owns this establishment, little one?"
He folded his arms behind his back, still bent over, glancing down at the guy. No disrespect was intended, and his looks showed nothing but a jovial, placid persona. No wicked core, no ace up the sleeve. Just him, standing here patiently waiting to have a simple question answered. Of course, his comments might seem degrading to a demon, but Tonberries went to hell for the exact same reason - envy. These two weren't so different.
