I know, he nodded against her. I saw mommy and daddy drinking from them all the time. If they were doing it, then I knew it's what was proper. Kang pulled away from her gently and eyed his muffin. May I have another piece? he pouted.

He slowly chewed the piece of muffin in his mouth. Swallowing proved to be less painful this time. It didn't hurt as much, he murmured. Cho-ah-yo, but I don't think I will eat anymore. I'm feeling full. Kang looked to the girl, studying her fully for the first time, his cheeks now an odd purple color as he blushed. You're very pretty... he said, looking down. He felt half-ashamed for being so forward with such a beautiful and seemingly refined woman, as he wasn't quite sure if he was allowed to compliment someone who was being so nice to him, in such a manner.

His eyes lit up upon hearing her name. Are you Korean? he asked happily before pausing. But wait... Wu is Chinese, or Taiwanese, right? Kang tilted his head thoughtfully.

Sunray Tristram Aiden raised a brow, going back into silly brother mode. "Meet her? Well, sure, I could take you over to the manor if you like. She should be there with her face in a book." He shook his head a little, wishing his sister would get out more often than she did. "She probably needs to friends." Kimiko giggled, wiggling just slightly in her seat. She liked meeting people, and if the redhead's sister was about her age, then she'd have someone who could potentially be her best friend! And that thought made Kimiko's eyes sparkle. Does she like to read? That'd be even better - Kimiko's family kept quite the library of books!

Winter Black "Oh, Charlotte..." Diamond said. "That is a vastly different world..." He sighed.
The waitress brought their order over, and placed it down in front of them.
"I'm sorry to hear you had such a hard past. But things don't have to stay that way. You can make them change." He reached over, and put his hand on hers. "If you want to."
"D-Diamond. I want to change, I want everything to change so much. So much it almost hurts but every time I look it just seems so impossible. I'm no good for anyone, really I'm not. I tried to not let it be that way but somehow it always goes in a loop and I'm back where I start. Please, how can it change?"
She shook her head defeated, gently lifting her hand away from his, though she regretted it afterwards. The warmth it had provided was comforting. But now she felt like it would just be better if she had left him alone, left everyone alone.

Rainbow Lime Charlotte hardly knew where she stood anymore. She didn't want to act badly to what he said but she didn't want to look overly enthusiastic either. Removing her hand from his seemed to hurtful yet leaving it there made her feel even more uncomfortable. She was to stuck in her ways to make anything change, how could it change? She wanted it to, dear god she wanted it to, but really could it?

He picked up his hot chocolate, and took a small sip. It was still too hot, and he might have burned the roof of his mouth, but he showed no signs of really caring, either way.
"I'll help you change things, Charlotte." He said. "I promise."
