Tau just got one not terribly long ago. God willing, there won't be a new codex for a long while.

Not for a while, they just redid the army not long ago (in codex time).

Someone told me that Tau was due, but I looked at the publish date on the Tau Codex and it's 2005. Sorry, I have not been in the hobby long, so I didn't know when Tau last got a refurbishing.

Not long ago one of my firewarriors avenged his comrades in the heat of combat. A unit of 5 deathwing termies had just wiped out his unit (minus him) and in turn he destroyed one of those foul xenos. Sweet justice was served. shortly after that he died, though his death was gloriouse, and as a result he had held the unit in place long enough for a crisi suit team to come in and mow them down in the sweet blaze of plasma. twisted

long time ago I happened to witness a squad of FWs club a DA chaplain to death with butts of their rifles... (note that Chaplain was down to last wound after receiving fire enroute to hth)

Tale of valor?
One of my tactical squads of Salamanders rode in their rhino under fire from Tau lines and popped out rapid firing one squad into taking a moral test that they passed. Survived more firing and then assualted breaking destroying one fire warrior squad outright, and moving on to another which was also destroyed.
Fun times.
