Mag and Sunfire walked outside of the rest house and into the Viridian Forest. The air was somewhat cool due to the trees blocking out much of the sunlight. There were tall bushes and trees all over.
"Wow. This place could be easy to get lost in. Well if we stray off the path anyway." Mag noted since the trails were very wide and clearly marked. The trainer and his partner began to go down a trail when three people suddenly burst forth from a nearby shubbery.

Norman just grinned at him. "I sure hope you are ready to lose kid, I'm nothing like the trainers you have faced befor. As for the rules, You can recall your pokemon at anytime you want, as long as they haven't fainted you can send them out again, items are allowed, and lets make it a four on four match if thats all right with you?" Norman asked taking his place on the home side of the gym's arena.

Mai's ears perked up, as she heard her name being paged over the intercom. As if on cue, another higher-ranking Rocket came into the room to relieve her of her duties, and the two exchanged nods, Mai began to make her way to Giovanni's office. I wonder what this is about? she thought, combing her short blone hair with her fingers as she walked, taking the shortest route possible. She knew her boss didn't like to be kept waiting. She arrived at the door, and looked at it, taking a deep breath before she knocked, and waited for an answer.

Kasiya kept close to Keegan, thinking that perhaps he'd forgotten that she'd been here before. She held onto his arm, realizing she didn't remember the direct path to Brawly, but as a trainer stepped out of the darkness to issue a challenge, Kasiya herself stood back, after giving Keega a 'good luck hug.' If he beats her, the torch will grow brigher, she thought, looking at it. Every time Mike and Mitsu beat a trainer, it got easier to see in here.
"You can do it, Keegan!" she cheered.

Giovanni tapped his hand on the desk. "Come in, Mai," he said loud enough for her to hear through the mahagony door. His eyes cast a quick glance toward Kilik's file, then back at the door.

"Okay Mankey! Start things off with your Scratch attack!" the trainer called. She was dressed in a workout uniform, and had a bandana tied around her head. The Mankey gave a screech and jumped forward, raking its claws across Loki's slender body.
"Are you going to just take that?" Keegan called. "Use Glare to slow it down!"
Loki leaned forward, hissing, and cast an icy cold glare at Mankey, causing it to be paralyzed with fear.
"Alright!" Keegan cheered, while the other trainer just growled. "Now use Poison Sting!"
"Karate Chop!" countered the girl.

Vacation post 3 (I keep forgetting that I have these to do...) The trainers laughed again. "Something wrong with us. At least were not the ones with the weak pokemon."
Now Dante normally wasn't one to give into anger. In fact he rarely got angry, but when he heard a groupd of ignorant trainers insulting his first (and not to mention favorite of his team) then he was inclined to get a bit angry, and that was not a good thing. "Really now? And what would you consider to be a good pokemon then?" Dante asked in a taunting tone of voice.
The trainer not noticing that Dante was probably going to degrade and humilate him took out a pokeball and let out the pokemon inside of it, a slimey ugly Muk. "My Muk is WAY better then your stupid pony."
Dante upon seeing the poisen pokemon spread out across the ground raised an eyebrow at it and in a tone of fake interest responded. "Really?"
"Yeah of course it is." The other trainer said smuggly.
"Hmm how about we test that little comment out with a battle then?"

Mai opened the door and quickly stepped inside, shutting it behind her quietly. She took a deep breath before she turned to face the desk and the man seated at it. "You wanted to see me, Sir?" she said, giving a quick salute.

Giovanni looked at the girl, showing her the seat in front of his desk. "Yes, have a seat..." he stood up, placing his hands on the desk and sliding Kilik's case file toward her. "You remember our good friend Kilik, don't you?"

Mai nodded, doing as she was asked. She glanced down at the folder in front of her, and looked back up, her eyes meeting Giovanni's. "Yes, of course, sir," she replied. "Kilik showed a lot of promise as a member of Team Rocket, but proved to be a disappointment in the end."

He nodded, opening the file and turned a few pages. "That's right," he growled, "He betrayed this organization. I won't have that." The superior shook his head, "When you betray Team Rocket, it's asking for trouble, am I right?" He asked. Giovanni didn't give her a chance to answer, "Of course I am."
"I want him dead. And Mai," he looked at her, "I want you to do it. By any means necessary...got it?"

Her face completely stoic, she gave a curt nod, her eyes fixed on Giovanni's. "Yes sir, understood," she replied, glancing down at the file folder again. "Any specific directions, or details I should be aware of?" she asked, making a move to stand.

"I don't care how you do it..." he whispered, "just do it. And be aware.." Giovanni growled, slamming his hand on the desk, "He's bound to be in the prescence of his friends. Whether it be Kasiya or that Nina girl he ran to," he slid his hands into his pockets and looked at her, "If that is the case..." he growled.
"Do whatever it takes to get rid of them, too."

The normally swift Mankey was noticably slower, it was still quite shaken from the nasty glare Loki had given it. It stumbled a bit as it came in for the attack, only to be hit by a barrage of Poison Sting from the Ekans. The Karate Chop hit its mark, to Keegan's delight and the girl's dismay, not doing nearly as much damage as it could have.
"Now use Warp! Quickly! While it's close!" Keegan called, and Loki coiled its long body around the fighting Pokemon, squeezing tightly.
"Scratch!" the Mankey's trainer called back, and after a second or so it managed to get an arm free and leave a deep scratch on Loki's soft underbelly.

Mai grit her teeth, and stood to her full height. "As you wish, Sir," she said, giving a slight bow. On cue, her black eye throbbed, and she made a mental note to put some ice on it once she got back to her room.
