"Well, Dark is supposed to bring me on a date at some point and I hardly took any clothes with me when we abandoned HQ." Maddy said, putting away both of her credit cards and her wallet. "I assume there should be a store around here that sells clothes."
She peered around. There was a lot of stores lining this street.
"I guess we can keep walking until we find one." She said, continuing down the street.

"(Okay,)" She shrugs and keeps following Maddy. She brushes her hand through her hair, forgetting about the hairband. It falls off, and hits a rock, expanding the shrunken Pokeball on it. The ball then opens and a happy looking Tyranitar appears.
"BUU BUUU!" Brick shouts with a cheerful roar before looking around, confused. Where are they now? He's never seen so many people, running around, having fun. He could smell food EVERYWHERE.
"(Ah, no Brick get back in the ball!)" She yells at him telepathically, before realizing Brick can't be communicated with through telepathy. He was already running off, chasing a few kids that had ice cream.

Maddy couldn't help but laugh. Dark's Tyranitar was just so cute.
"Come back, Brick! I'll buy you a T-Tar sized ice cream." They were coming up to an ice cream shop anyways, which explained all the kids running around with ice cream in the first place.
"Man, I want a T-Tar like him so bad. I wonder where I can catch a Larvitar or Pupitar."

That ground shakes as Brick comes running back, his tongue slightly hanging out of the side of his mouth. "BUU BUU!"
"(Oh Helix.)" Misery sighs and rolls her eyes.
He skids to a stop, coming dangerously close to tackling Maddy. "Buu!"

Maddy gave the giant green rock a pat on the head before entering the ice cream shop. She walked up to the man at the counter.
"Uhmm... I'll need a cone or a bowl big enough to fit enough ice cream for that Tyranitar." She said, pointing at Brick. She figured she'd give the man a heads up so he can start looking.
She turned to Brick.
"Uhhhh... I guess you can pick out what flavor you'd like." She told him. They were surrounding by glass cases featuring tubs of almost every flavor of ice cream imaginable.

Brick gleefully sticks his face to the glass, accidentally cracking it. He stares at the flavors of ice cream for awhile before stopping at 'triple chocolate suicide'.
Misery looks at the ice cream. "(I'll have the uhh... Pistakio.)" She says, liking it because of the colour.

Maddy flinched a little as Brick cracked the glass on one of the displays. She turned back to the man at the counter, who was holding one of the biggest ice cream cones Maddy had ever seen in her entire life.
"Brick will have a triple chocolate suicide, it seems. Misery wants pistachio. And I'll have..." She scanned over the flavors really quick and then shrugged. "Vanilla is fine for me. Uhhh... You can add the cost of fixing that display to the bill as well."
She took her credit card from her wallet and swiped it through the machine displaying the price. The ice cream (and the glass) was paid for and everyone received a cone with the flavor they chose.
"Well, that's an example of one thing you can buy with money." Maddy said, turning to Misery.

"(Oh.)" She says, looking at the credit card. "(But how does the man get money from the card.)"She asks before shaking her head, looking annoyed. "(I have a better way of doing this.)" Her eyes glow and Maddy would end up feeling another consciousness enter hers for a second.
"(Oh. I see now.)" She smirks. "(Money sure does a lot of amazing things for humans.)"
Brick was enjoying his cone quickly, scarfing it down as fast as he could.
Misery cutely touches hers with her tongue, surprised at how cold it is.
It seems the two of them didn't get out much.

Maddy shuddered as Misery entered her mind and then retreated.
"Geez. I can't imagine the weird things you can see if you enter Dark's mind." She said, rubbing her head a little as they exited the shop.
She licked at her ice cream as they continued down the street, searching for the nearest clothing boutique.

"(You don't really see anything.)" She shrugs. "(He meditates a lot to keep his mind clear, so whatever you see is just what he's thinking of at the moment. So whatever his words and body language produce.)"
Suddenly Brick throws his ice cream cone and roars as loud as he can, doing his best to grab his head with his stubby arms. He stomps the ground furiously and begins breathing out huge streams of fire.
Misery winces a bit,startled by the Pokemon. "(Gah, what's wrong Brick?!)"
The Pokemon keeps thrashing around, spitting flames.

Maddy had to think for a moment before she figured out what was wrong with Brick.
"Oooooh. When you eat ice cream too fast, you get a sensation called brain freeze. It kinda hurts." She shrugged. "I'm honestly a little surprised he could get it, actually."
She ran over to Brick.
"Calm down, Brick! It'll go away in just a few seconds! Try not to hurt anyone!"
She grabbed onto his arm, trying to hold him still and calm him down. He was rather big and just pulled her along though.

He calms down as the pain goes away and looks around confused, like he had just blacked out. He then spots his ice creams on the ground and picks it up to start eating it again. Misery lifts the ice cream away from him telepathically and tosses it in a nearby garbage can.
["Don't eat that, humans throw garbage everywhere. It's bad for you.]" She says in Pokemon. "(So, clothes shopping?)" She asked Maddy. She wondered if they could get her something that would make her look nice.
Maddy then receives a text from Dark:
I just remembered that Lumiose has a lot of ice cream vendors. Do not feed Brick ice cream, he can't deal with the brain freeze.

Maddy took out her TADS and read the message on the screen. She responded:
I'll remember that. Almost just bought him an ice cream. Heh.
She tucked her TADS back in her pocket and they continued onward until they came across their first clothing boutique. The clothes displayed in the front window implied that they sold garb for special occasions.
"Well, Dark did say he would take me somewhere fancy... I guess we could stop in here first." She said, leading her two companions inside. She walked towards the section of the store featuring all of the nice dresses.
"Hmmm..."

Misery recalls Brick after he begins digging through the trash can and follows Maddy into the store.
"(These are really nice...?)" She says, trying to sound like she knew what she was talking about.

Maddy spotted a dress that was designed after a Gardevoir. She pointed it out to Misery.
"It seems that the designer really likes your fashion sense." She said, smiling a little. She continued browsing through the selection of dresses.
Behind them was a glass display, filled with all sorts of hair accessories.
