Ace now had a bandage wrapped around his head. He was given painkillers, yet... He took too much... And now he was loopy from such things, twirling and singing The I-Wish-They'd-Just-Die Song... It actually felt like he was a clown, and not a bratty boy who kept saying so.

Nekoda, having nothing better to do, stayed at the mansion. He would until Jenova's next assault, he thought. He was currently laughing at Ace's overdosed stupidity.

Zola has descended on the mansion's roof. He wondered how things would have turned out if he decided to side with AVALANCHE, and in his opinion, the way things looked on a rooftop was important in that decision. He noticed a girl with red hair, but dismissed the sight.

The strange girl jumped a bit at the sound's of the girl awakening nearby, she would have complealy missed her. she looked her over for a moment blinking. "My you dress so strangly." was it wrong that was the first thing she had to say? not for her it wasn't. "I just thought i smelt my siblings near here but they seamed to have just came and went a way a while befor i got here, would you know where i can find the god slayer, or the cold swords or the wind?" she asked refering to vinny and nina just saying vincents in 2 ways. her nose was sniffing around a bit

The ever so odd girls ears twiched slightly at the sounds of her clothing jingling, if fate was here he would be all over her trying to find out waht was making the noise.... and for the easy attention which he loved so much, like a little puppy in a human body."Vinny sounds about right but there is no fate that we have with that name." she admitted the fact she didn't know about the little brother fate, nor his twin shino. she laughed a bit at her greating it was odd seeing as how she was use to being shown little to no respect by those that weren't her famly at least. "Hi rosa, i'm uh-." she was temperarly dumbstruck again! she forgot her own name! was that possable!

Zola's ears twitched. He turned around only to be tackled by a flying black chocobo, having him fall off. He spread his wings to catch his balance, almost not seeing Clyde vault downward after him. His spun away, but Clyde caught his wing and dragged him to the ground. They both landed cleanly in front of the mansion.

"Zola!!" Clyde shouted. "What the hell is wrong with you?! Siding with frikin' Jenova, what are you, stupid?! She did enough to us when we were 5, you're going to fight for her?!" The Chainblade in his hand roared loudly, as if to reflect his own anger.

"Gauntila... You just don't get it..." Zola muttered, pulling his wing away. "If only you knew why--"

"WHO CARES IF YOU'RE CONFLICTED!!"

Zola's eyes widened. He guessed it.

"I don't care, alright? I don't care about Jenova, I don't care about Shinra, and I sure as hell don't give a damn about Gauntila!" Clyde was going on a rant. "Zola, I care about my friends, and being my best friend, I care about you the most! If I didn't, I'd have killed you already. Zola, just side with AVA-"

"No." Zola sternly interrupted. "Why should I side with AVALANCHE? My path is one that leads to peace of mind. Don't you see? That's all I've ever wanted, and AVALANCHE is always in the way of it..."

"Zola, what kind of logic.." Clyde trailed off. "Even if Jenova's path leads to peace, what do you think you have to pass on the way?"
