As Teagan slowly awoke once again, she felt a small rush of fear enter her body. She bit her lip, reaching her hand out to touch the glass that encased her in the small tube. She shuttered slightly, quite uncomfortable with her current area.

Claustrophobia will get the better of me. She said to herself before realizing that her fears of small enclosed spaces was not the biggest problem on her hand. She felt pain, reaching up to touch her head she felt her hand meet a metal helmet. She could hear someone talking, looking up to see an odd looking man she had never seen before.

She stood there, impatiently listening to what he said, wincing slightly as he brought up the hound project and stared at her for a moment. She scowled slightly as she listened to the rest of what he said.

No one has pressed ANY ideas upon me! She thought bitterly to herself, leaning back against the glass. She could feel her heart race slightly, not only scared of her caged state, but scared of what was going to happen.

She glanced around, looking over the faces of the others, noticing that Penny and Gen were among the missing. She frowned slightly, her brow furrowing.

Where could they be? She thought, finally tuning out most of what was going on around her. She glanced back over to the middle of the room, a familiar voice -Jacen's- finally reaching her ears. She could tell he sounded angry, but she wasn't exactly going on.

Does Jacen know this mad man? She thought, watching Magneto with curious eyes.

Jamie had been awake for awhile, and he had watched most of the others wake up. A few had made it back to conciousness before he had, but not many. As he watched Magneto speak, he was overcome by an odd mix of emotions. Anger, first and foremost, that this man would break into a school, kidnap students, and try to erase their opinions. Anger that he had left Jacen for dead, and anger that he had harmed his friends.

There was also indignation. Professor Charles Xavier was certainly not the person that had the most influence on Jamie. There was Penny, Regina, Morgan, even Jacen and Jonathan Porter. People he barely knew had influenced him as much as Charles Xavier himself, Gen, Teagen, Blair, Kurt. Jamie had come to Xavier's institute on his own free will, and Magneto had no right to erase the 'influence' of Xavier, as Magneto put it.

But there was a third, more confusing emotion there. Was it. . . pity? It was true what Regina said. "We're the way we are because of the pasts we've lead." She was right, and it led Jamie to think, what exactly had happened to Magneto? Evil bastards don't just pop out of thin air. What was it that shaped him into this beast?

Jamie looked at Magneto, his eyes clouded over with this strange mix of feelings. . .

Suddenly, Rogue felt a searing pain in her side where the ray had hit her. She reached over to the large scrape it had left, and pulled out five blood covered shards of glass.

Pietro broke out into laughter when Regina called his father "retarded". It just semed incredibly ludicrous to him... that these fools would look such a hopeless situation in the eye and act like they had any room to bargain.

"If you ask me, we should wipe them clean dad," spat Pietro. "Screw ethics... in my past few days here I've found that Homo Superior has evolved beyond such notions. And considering most of you ******** have the personality of a brick, its not like we'd be losing much."

Magneto gave Pietro a look, as if to tell him to shut up. Pietro begrudgingly complied, but his characteristic smirk remained. He made sure to make eye contact with Jacen, to let him know that if he had his way, he would have left him to die a lot sooner that it had actually happened.

((I know, I had a post on that too.))

Rogue watched as everyone else let out their arguments. She didn't plan to try to reason with this guy. He wasn't worth her time.

Pietro irritated Markus....mainly due to that smuggly superior attitude of his. He almost told him to shut up himself but Magneto beat him to the punch so to speak. He scanned the tubes looking for any who might give more thought than the other to the miniscule almost non existant chance of escape.

Since Penny seemed to be sleeping Rachael was at loose ends. Still restless she decided to at least try and go to sleep. She plopped herself down on a cot in the infirmery and closed her eyes in an attempt to sleep. After a little while she sighed and gave up the notion. She pulled a book off the shelf and began to browse through it.

Sonya finally awoke in a tube, her head hurting from before. She recalled the previous attack on her and the professor from forge. She looked around and saw many of the other x-men in the tubes. But she couldn't spot Penny. "Oh I hope she's alright," she said to herself.

After all the x-men were brought into the room, Sasha walked in and stood over by Pietro and Magneto.

"Sasha! Sasha, please help me!" shouted Sonya, banging on the wall.

Sasha looked at her beloved cousin. "I will. Don't worry. You will be helped soon enough," she said, coldly.

Magneto practically rolled his eyes at Jacen's comments, and quite clearly rolled them after hearing his son gloat. "Children... and they ask why I feel the need to educate you all... perhaps there is time for one lesson before we resort to your formal re-education..."

He turned to Courtney, as an electromagnetic force field slowly enveloped each individual member of the Brotherhood. For Magneto, it was almost like an afterthought... his powers had increased to a level no one could have anticipated. "Crystal, my dear, if you would please be so kind as to remove the shielding from our honored guests here?"

"The ********?? You serious, these guys should have their powers back by now!" gasped the girl.

"Which is precisely the point... I do believe our friends here need to learn just why I am the one who makes the orders here, why I shall be the one to guide you all as you assume your rightful places of superiority in the world..."

Courtney shrugged, and snapped her fingers, causing the glass to shatter about each member of the X-Men, essentially releasing them, though their attachments remained.

"Well then... if any of you wish to challenge me, I do invite you to try. Granted, I feel I should warn you... at magnetic north, my powers are amplified one hundredfold. However, if you truly believe that you are anything resembling my equal, or even if you're looking to exhibit some frustration in the remaining four hours and thirty seven minutes of unwashed thought and emotion you have left, go right ahead..." he said, as every door, vent, and any other manner of entrance or exit to the re-education chamber was magnetically sealed.

OOC: And on that note, we pause the RP until Friday, August 26... feel free to let your hatred for Magneto bottle up violently and unhealthily until then ^_^

OOC: Thanks to some difficulties in accessing the damned Magneto mule, I'll be posting him in dark red text until I'm able to get back into it.

IC: Magneto quirked an eyebrow, sending a wave of magnetic energy toward his former disciple, and the source of his greatest frustration at the moment. Jacen growled, attempting to lunge forward... but found he could not move without a sharp pain coming from within. It was as if every blood vessel in his body had suddenly stiffened, leaving him numb from head to toe.

"What... the ******** are you..." he stammered.

"It's simple biology, dear Jacen, or did you forget how much iron is in your blood? True, its not a staggering amount, and yet, with my powers being what they are at this point on the globe... its more than enough to humiliate you properly," he said with a dark grin as he flung Jacen across the room. His body struck the rear wall of the chamber with a sickening thud... and just like that, one of the X-Men's strongest allies was knocked out cold.

"Well now... does anyone else wish to have a go at it?"

Somehow, despite the room being completely sealed off, Pietro had found a fold-up chair and a huge box of popcorn. He watched the upcoming beatdown with glee, always happy to see an X-Man get his a** kicked.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 25, 2005 3:30 pm

Markus was very impressed by that. "Wow, he's got to be strong if he can use that minuscual ammount of iron thats in a persons blood to imobilize them..." He said to Pietro as he watched. "Where'd you get the chair?" Notices the popcorn. "Or the popcorn for that matter?"

Xavier slowly blinked his way back to existance... his head still groggy after what had transpired. It didn't take long before he realized that he was far away from his beloved mansion... and apparently naked to boot. He looked side to side, everything in front of him cast in a strange green tint. Looking down, he noticed that he was upright, and yet he wasn't standing. Instead, he was floating, almost as if put into a test tube.

Erik... I would have thought you more than anyone would despise being captive and put on display... he thought bitterly, especially as he noticed that he was not alone. Far from it, in fact, as an audience of over a dozen of Magneto's Acolytes were keeping watch around him, with Exodus in the center.

"Well now... the legend himself has awakened," smirked Exodus confidently, a slight aura of telepathic energy surrounding his body. "I have always wanted to test my skills against yours... and my Master has graciously allowed me an opportunity to do just that."

Xavier merely looked annoyed at his captors, and drifted off to the astral plane...

As you wish, my good boy... Though I really must warn you, there is a reason why your "Master" fears me so much...

A gray haired younger looking man is moving down one of New York City's many sidewalks. He is Stephen Duphrense, a 25-year-old man paralyzed from the neck down. Using his powers of telekinesis, he is able to propel his wheelchair along the sidewalk with ease. Being a man in his rather unfortunate physical state, he is used to some awkward glances and frightened looks. It's not often you see a wheelchair moving by itself. Most people choose to not pay attention to the oddity of it, indeed wrapped up in their own problems. But on this day, one particular man takes notice. He's a balding, chubby waste of a man, and he's a mutant hater by trade.

"Whoa there, freak, where're you going?" He asks gruffly, before returning his mouth to a cheap beer, as if not drinking caused him undue harm.
"Home," was the only word that Stephen said, before psychically pushing the man aside and continuing on his journey.

The fat man opened his mouth to speak, but suddenly found that he'd forgotten how. As his feet slipped out from under him, he had no choice but to watch the mutant scum he despised and feared roll away. He didn't know it, but it'd only taken Stephen a mental blink to incapacitate him, and to search his mind for a simple piece of information. An address.

"I'm sorry honey, I hate mutants," grunted John "Johnny Boy" Post, as he drank his cheap beer.
"I know dear, but why do you always have to start trouble. What if they try to hurt you?" his wife asked.
"Quit your damn worrying. No damn mutant freak is going to hurt me. I'm Johnny Boy."
"Too bad you still can't talk," his wife muttered as she left the room.

A figure watched from outside of the Post home. A well-dressed 'man', he glared and grinned, his face not moving. The man leapt from his position in the tree, and crossed the street deftly, making his way towards the home.
*knock knock*
Mrs. Post got up from her chair, and her brandy, and walked to the door. Who'd be here this late She wondered and sighed to herself. She released the chain lock and opened the door. What met her vision was a ghastly white man. Lifeless eyes and a ghastly grin made up his face. It was the last thing she'd ever see as the man moved quickly and grabbed her head, giving it a brutal and silent twist, except for the pop. It sounded like a champagne bottle on New Year's, and then a thud as a lifeless body hit the floor. The man reached into his coat and pulled a long knife. He made his rounds through the house, making quick and bloody work of one freeloader sister-in-law, two sons, one daughter, a dog, two cats, two birds, and a handful of fish. There was only one thing left to do.

Johnny Boy Post looked up from his TV and saw the most horrible vision of his life. A lifeless man stood in the doorway, holding the body of his equally lifeless wife. The man dropped the body and looked up at Johnny. With a quick motion, he took of his hat, took a bow, and put the hat back on, all the while grinning that large grin. A few quick and easy motions later, and Johnny Boy's head found itself in a completely different side of the room than the body.

In truth, it wasn't a man at all, but a mannequin, controlled psychically by Stephen Duphrense. Now it was time for Stephen, and his Mannequin, to make their way to North, and Magneto, upon his request.

OOC: I'm sorry if that's long, but I wanted to get back in to posting, and I like to be descriptive. I promise they won't all be this long

"This is not a party!" shouted Sasha, slapping Pietro from behind. "Idiot."

Sasha did enjoy the fact of having people, essentially goody two-shoes, like the X-Men, be at her mercy. What she didn't enjoy was the fact that Sonya was among them.

Sonya was angry at Magneto for causing all the pain to her fellow X-Men, and for the disappearance of Penny.

"You're an evil man!" she said. "And you must pay for what you've done! Tell me what you did to Ms. Penny!"

"My dear, while you were napping, I made it quite clear that your young friend managed to get herself killed during the attack... so she won't be joining us," he stated coldly.

The news shocked Sonya. Her eyes began to water. "Ms. Penny..."

Then something snapped in Sonya. "AAAAARRRGGHHH!" she screamed as a huge bolt of electricity surrounded her body. Her tears were making harsh red marks down her cheek, and her eyes turned to full white. The result of her sudden power surge made her float up, though she was not aware of it. She only had one thing in mind. She sent a huge bolt of lightning charging at Magneto.
