"What? Uh. Yea. I'm good," Tex mumbled while lightly rubbing his temples. "My bad. I don't know what the heck that was, but it didn't like me in his head."
"Gardening is f-fun and it k-keeps food on the t-table," Gil half-growled, half-stuttered before covering his mouth with his hand again. He hadn't meant it to come out in a growl yet it had. His eyes finally shifted back to a less feline appearance as he glanced up at Melody, a scar going over his right eye. "I'm really sorry... I didn't mean for it to come out that way..."

"I believe he's my guardian, yes, but I'm still having trouble with some things like the black out that made me end up in your house. He said not to move if I wound up someplace I don't know of and he'd come looking for me if I keep having these blackouts," Gil murmured softly before pausing for a second, his hand lightly over his forehead. "Stop turning red..." he grumbled softly to himself before walking again beside Melody. "Sorry about the short stop. My vision was going red. It does that sometimes."

{( I'm liking the Sefaelei. I like odd words. Anyways, to answer your questions; 1. By "version", I mean he's just the other gender yet the same species as Melody.
2. He would look like a human <: you said the males aren't as strong as the females and they don't get the ears and tail like the females let alone the ability to turn into a kitty :> but Kharl the Alchemist, and the lover/ex-lover to Gil's older step-sister <: the two lovers got into a fight when Gil's step-mother asked him to do a little mix-up with Gil's DNA to make him seem like a normal cat demon :>, messed with his DNA by adding a regular cat demon entity to Gil's Sefaelei DNA with his alchemy. Unfortunately for him, the alterations had negative side effects ie Gil became an uncontrollable large tiger-like feline that looks rather like a crazy long haired panther somewhat and suffers from amnesia. He's still somewhat weaker than the females of the Sefaelei.
3. His mother was of the Sefaelei race <: I'm temporarily calling them that :> and she was banished for... a reason... My brains not working with me right now... and his father was a fire demon. The most he got from his dad was the ability to manipulate fire and his abnormal height.
4. The cat demon village was a panther-cat demon village. They usually take in abandoned children/orphans and the leader of said village allowed Kharl into the village because him and the leader's daughter were lovers and they'd have been stupid to say he couldn't enter. Kharl is like the best alchemist ever. ;D
5. The clan leader of the panther-cat demon village had taken him in as hers and she'd grown too attached to Gil, and the fact he was no longer in the village might've influenced the non-banishment. The tribe/villagers disagreed to Gil's stepmother's thoughts of not banishing Gil after his craziness took control ie after the alchemy attempt, but they were able to kick Kharl out due to his entire thought process running along "What the frick did I do?" and "I can't believe she said we're over..." Kharl is actually a fragile person emotionally for a demon alchemist. The villagers wanted to banish Gil for how dangerous he was, but Gil had vanished in a gust of wind like a tornado, taking down half of the town as he left. Gil doesn't remember doing such a thing either.

"He, Kharl is correct, tried giving me a few things, but I kept upchucking them so he quit trying to give me anything for the blackouts. He then tries keeping an eye on me twenty-four-seven, but no one can really do that so it doesn't always work. It probably doesn't help that my blackouts come at random times although it is more common for them to happen when I get this feeling that someone is getting near something they shouldn't be getting near. Seeing red is getting pretty rare lately... Thank you for letting me stay. I'd hate for my being here to be any trouble to you. I already feel bad for breaking into your house," Gil responded lightly before feeling his breath catch at the sight of Melody's garden. "It's beautiful. This is going to be fun gardening with you."
"Well, nothing really. I was just saying that he seems to be similar to Melody in a way. You voices are so very touchy about things. I also plan on letting him rest. I'm just glad he stopped screaming although that ringing sound is still there albeit more of a light buzzing sound now," Tex responded in an exasperated sigh. Talking to these voices was getting tiresome all on its own. "I'm still keeping an eye on him though. This is completely different from what happened before... Perhaps the change is a good thing." Tex continued rubbing his temples still disliking that buzzing in his head. He wasn't sure if being overly cautious about someone who looked like a ten or twelve-year-old boy was a good idea or not, but he couldn't help it. When something new happened, he became overly cautious about things.
