Krallna Keiji Blasphemac I sometimes act like an a** to people, they're all stupid, they can't see what is obvious and right there. They accuse me of things they have no grounds to do so with, and even when I prove that to them, prove I didn't do something that I so obviously could/would not do, they don't like me. I started growing cold, distant, so it wouldn't effect me as much, started to disassociate myself with people, no one close to me right now understands me. Recently I realized that I can't get close to anyone anymore, because I willingly taught myself to not care, to always think critically. I give anyone a chance to get to know me, and I to know them, but they'll likely not do the same. No one will approach me around here, there's nowhere to meet people but on the street. I don't want to be alone, I know this is only a stage in my life, but the way it's going, it feels like it'll stay this way forever, or get worse. K

Sorry, but straight up metal sucks. its nothing but the same riffs just in different keys, and random breakdowns.... and the same old shitty scream voice...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can understand why you listen to that slow stuff now. There is a massive difference between Metalica and Eluveitie's metal stuff. Namely the flutes, bagpipes, second drum set, air manola(like a violin and wind up music box, but with air.) And that's not screamo, that's grovelly. And in the few songs they do screamo, it fits. Not like our shitty amurkan punk bands. There's slow metal too, maybe you could try that? I'm pretty sure your ears would be able to hear every instrument separetely like that, instead of the melodic and booming meshes of the greatest instruments in the world put together.

I'm not saying metal is bad, just todays metal has turned into a homogenous blob that keeps regurgitating itself. Don Caballero is an avant garde metal band, I also like Dysrhthmia, The ******** Champs, Crush, Kill, Destroy, Mastodon, Tool, etc. But metal by itself is just disgusting. It has to be comined with other musical elements for me to be able to tolerate it. I love the work metallica did when they still had cliff burton, because burton was a jazz bassist in style, he just played with distortion.

Eluveitie has elven members on average, two female vocalists, one plays a violin, the other the air manola, lead singer male plays flute, they have a bagpipe, percussion Rythemist, drummer, and three or so guitarists (lead, rhythm, bass.) They also do Folk-hard beat rock. Apocolyptica plays with a drumset and Three Cellos. That's it. They are a metal band without the guitars. They are win as s**t. I'd reccomend the bittersweet album as a starter, maybe path instrumental to start off. Look into any european metal band. They will rape the s**t out of the "diverse sound" we get here, specifically the old stuff. Which is also "diverse" because you play a heavy distortion rock guitar like a jazz guitar, even though that's meshing with every other instrument there, which obscures that.
