[[Keep in mind that, since Nithhogr is weak to Water and Light magic, then those attacks had 20 MS (Dani) and 22 MS (Amy) powering them, compared to your 8 MResistance.]]
[ Seymour : Hawaii : Beach ]
With the others charging head first into the portal without waiting for more combined forces, it was pathetically obvious it would soon be closed- and when it did so just as John reached it, Seymour shook his head in slight frustration. The three young girls- one previously kidnapped by Cory, one previously attacked by Cory, and the other not really caring one way or the other. Could they have at least had a little planning first?
Stretching his arms out wide, fists curled, he released a string of Thundara blasts from the sky, eradicating any remaining Unversed on the beach. They were low level spells for him, so they cost little to nothing, and since the Heartless were weak in the first place, they were easily dispatched.
"I don't suppose anyone has a method of tracking that so we know where they went, hmm?" he asked, though it was obviously rhetorical- there was no known way to track a corridor, even to his knowledge. "Or perhaps using that strange method of communication you use when the pictomancer was kidnapped earlier?"

[ Sora : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]
Sora looked a bit downcast at Noelle's news, but Jenny's news seemed at least slightly hopeful. With the poison out of his system, he could get better pretty fast... but if they eye couldn't be healed...
I don't think I've ever had to deal with bad guys that went to extremes like this before. This is a whole new game.
Not realizing how very ironic his thoughts would have been considered, he turned his attention to Dawn, who had appeared shortly after he had.
"Mm, I could definitely go for some paopu right now," he muttered to himself after Dawn mentioned fruit. "Well, guess we'll head over there now. Good idea to have a plan instead of charging in blind- or so people continue to tell me."
With a chuckle, he jogged off, heading to the brig.

[ Kyle ; Sora : Caribbean : Pearl's Lower Decks ]
Kyle nodded to Anthony's response, taking that into consideration. Anthony seemed more melee-based, so he really could go either way, unlike someone such as Noelle, who needed earth nearby to use most of her magic. Of course, Jacob's blind enthusiasm was a bit unsettling- was he being sarcastic, or did he honestly believe it would as simple as a button-masher?
"Well, I don't think we'll have to worry about 'mini-games', since Ajora apparently plans to destroy the place," Kyle said, vividly remembering Ajora's taunt- that by morning, the cities of Atlantis and Atlantica would be ruins. Just a few moments into his sentence, Louis had arrived, but Kyle answered Jacob's actual question first. "It'll probably be at least a few hours before we get to Shipwreck Cove. Tortuga and Port Royal may have been close together, but Shipwreck Cove has to be in a central location where all the Pirate Lords meet, so who knows... we may not arrive until nightfall."
It was at that point that Sora walked in as well. "Yeah, we were going to set out some plans for our arrival at Shipwreck Cove and Atlantica. We know that the Replicas plan to attack the worlds under the sea from our time in the Dutchman's Brig," he began, eying Louis with a cryptic gaze, the intentions unclear. "But we also know there's going to be a large-scale sea battle between hundreds of ships on this end, more than likely going on at the same time and almost certainly with help from the Replicas' allies, meaning we need people here to counter them as well."
"The main issue," he began; by this point, the others might have arrived, since the last explanation had went on for a bit. "Is who stays on deck and who goes under the sea? Of course, the only ones who can survive the deep seas are those of us with magic clothing- meaning we Earthlings and Sora, so we know for a fact people like Auron, Kuja, Quistis here, and yourself-" he glanced back to Louis. "Will remain."
"You'll probably need me to come along," Sora spoke up, strolling forward to make himself more known. "King Triton doesn't trust outsiders all that much- heck, he didn't trust me until I defeated Ursula, and I had the Keyblade. And if there are going to be Replicas of you guys attacking down there..."
"That's exactly what I was thinking," Kyle said, his tone somewhat morose. "If Ajora gets there before we do and we don't have you with us, King Triton will take one look at me and order me to be executed or something..."
"Well, that makes at least 3 of us going- Sora, Jacob, and myself- and at least one staying- Dawn," he said, looking around, expecting the others to have arrived. "What about the rest of us?"

((Joe and Dawn gave me permission to hijack them down to the brig with Noelle, but Lavi wasn't around, so BE IT KNOWN that she's still in the sleeping quarters until she posts otherwise. XDD))
[The Black Pearl ~ Sleeping Quarters --> Brig]
Noelle sighed and watched Sora's back as he turned to leave. Yeah, plans--little rest before getting back to work. The blonde rubbed her eyes and stood up tiredly. What a day.
"Well, I suppose we should head down too. We have plannin' and packin' and nonsensin' to do . . ." Noelle said heavily, heading out the door. She and the others followed just after Sora down into the brig to catch Kyle's notes about who could and couldn't go. The agromancer spoke up quickly, mind made up.
"I'm going." She said firmly, almost sounding angry. "I'm no good here."

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Sleeping Quarters -> Brig]
Dawn smiled slightly at Noelle, but simply shook her head, "As much fun as that sounds, I really don't feel up to it right now. Maybe after we meet with the others."
She watched as Sora left, she soon followed after Noelle and Joe, into the brig. She thankfully heard the most of the conversation as he worked to get the others filled in on what was going on. There wasn't very much for her to say. She already voiced that she was staying on the ship. Though she would be lying to herself if she would say she wasn't scared. Between the Ultima symbol on her hand and the possibility of having to fight James...
"I want to make it known what I said before," Dawn paused for a moment before she continued, "If I go out of hand and it seems I might go crazy and not fight, please lock me up. I don't want to be in the way during the fight."
Dawn locked eyes with Sayrike, Jacob, Anthony and lastly Kyle, speaking through them through her charm, "Please do me a favor, don't mention to them about the mark on my hand. At least for now. We got enough things to worry about right now."

[The Flying Dutchman ~ Captain's quarters --> Narnia ]
Elleon shrugged and opened a portal, "C'ya, I'm out."
Artemis followed after Elleon without needing a command. Both girls stepped through the portal and were gone, the dark gap closing behind them. They stepped out onto springy, green turf in a clearing just before the edge of a forest. There was something ominous and forboding about the trees before them, but this was just what Elleon wanted. She had a certain type of people to find . . . if they could be called people. Beasts would be more accurate.
"Artemis . . . let's go hunting, shall we?"

[Jenny :: Black Pearl :: Sleeping Quarters > Brig]
The musician nodded in consent as Dawn spoke. Figuring things out would probably be the best course of action they could all do at the moment. Jenny slowly stood up, feeling that her leg has fallen a little numb from sitting on her knees. She followed Noelle while rubbing her stomach... she was hungry, but she didn't know if she felt like eating just yet.
The melodies of the heartsongs became louder as Jenny drew near the Brig, it was both comforting and saddening. She stopped a little short behind Noelle, able to catch the last bit of the conversation. "I want to go also."

[ Ajora ; James ; Celia : Dutchman ]
Ajora remained silent as the trio left, leaving himself and James alone in the Captain's Quarters. Davy Jones had all but vacated, wanting as little to do with the Replicas as possible in his rage. The other Replicas were still on board... but this was the last place Ajora wanted to be.
His eyes narrowed dangerously at the exact moment he was alone in the room, and James visibly twitched as Ajora did so; in moments, the sapphire-garbed assassin Celia had appeared before him, kneeling with her head facing the ground. Wordlessly, Ajora placed his hand on her head, literally gripping at her skull as if to release some tension; the Darkness that made her began to mold, deform and become as ambiguous as a cesspool of black...
---
Moments later, Ajora was alone in the room- completely alone, as even James had seemed to vanish in thin air.
[ Meanwhile, outside Castle Oblivion ]
However, the 'Ajora' left on the Dutchman was merely Celia given new form; to anyone who tried to tell the difference, they would seem identical, allowing for Ajora's absence to be entirely unnoticed.
James remained to the side of the pathway, standing idly by as Ajora stood in the center. This was a world that, before the Combination, had been set perfectly between the Realms of Light and Darkness, leaving it as a middle ground between the opposing elements. This was how Ajora had hoped to find it here, as well; in the Combined World, there were places of Darkness just as there were places of Light.
And to his satisfaction, Castle Oblivion remained the perfect neutral ground.
Now, Ultima... it's time you revealed your secrets to me.
.:Of course... your wish is my command.:.

âââ======âȘ [Kyla: Narnia: Enclave]âȘ======âââOh joy- A dragon-like enemy. Kyla wasnât too fond of fire when it was being thrown at her. But after dealing with several fire enemies before him, she wasnât too impressed. Just annoyed. When the fire rained down upon them, a solid mass took shape right above them. Just a simple solid wall, see through so they could still see the enemy, obscured by the flames which bombarded it.
Practical pictomancy was handy.
The barrier held strong between them and the assault, with plenty fo space around itâs sides for them to shoot around it. Kyla had a decision to make, rise up to meet the dragon- or, bring him down to their level. When in doubt, get to higher ground right?
With a quick scribble the ground around the girls rippled and like the battle in Narnia when they first arrived on the beach, Kyla created several platforms which rose up into the at levels which were close enough for the Melee fighters to leap and scale themselves higher to reach Arial enemies.
Right now Amy and Dani were the one who could deal a heavier blow to this guy, so she needed to try and amplify their attacks as much as possible, set up the opportunities they needed to get the good hits on their target. So first thing- she created a way for them to reach him, second, buffing, both were done. Now. How to weaken their enemy? That was the next issue to tackle.

{Kyle : Hawaii : Beach}
"What exactly happened to them? I'm assuming something stupid? Lovely." Calling out his Trinity Charm he closed his eyes and pictured the three girls who were missing. Kyla, Amy, and Dani. Would Dani have the charm? Maybe it came with the dress sphere? Well, even if she didn't have one, the other two would. Hopefully just picturing them would be enough. "Kyla. Amy. Dani. Where are you three? Are you all alright? Should we attempt to get Demyx to open a portal?"
After sending the message, he opened his eyes and looked around at the others. "Well, I sent a message. Hopefully they'll respond. So should we attempt to get the others and go after them in force? Smaller party and leave part of the group here to deal with whatever hits this place?" He really just wanted to get this stuff done. Why couldn't they just relax on the beach?

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Beach}
Bobbi had seen what happened to Cory, but being on the other side of the battlefield could do little about it. And in all honesty, she wasn't sure she cared. Yeah, Cory had shown that there was something in him capable of being a good person, but he went out of his way to completely negate any decency in himself and just ran around intentionally being a complete a** to everyone he met. She couldn't stand people like that, and for the most part she figured he could lay in the karmic grave he dug for himself.
On the other hand, Kyla, Dani, and Amy decided to risk their necks for him. People she knew were awesome and worth helping out, and she couldn't do anything to aid them, either. She would have been angry and frustrated, but at this point in the game, she just took whatever happened with a grain of salt and kept doing what she was doing.
Weeding, apparently.
Taulmaril steadily picked off the Unversed until Seymour wiped out the rest of them with a nice Thunder spell. The Archer released Taulmaril and let her dress sphere get out of her Ranger suit, and headed over to join the crowd where the portal was.
She was boiling inside, pretty much ready to explode at the slightest provocation. How many times had Cory caused trouble, usually on purpose? She was starting to get sick of it.
After Seymour came in and disintegrated the rest of the Unversed, Demyx decided to just leave well enough alone and let everyone else handle the rest of it. Oh, he watched the girls go into the trap wide-eyed and bushy-tailed, but he didn't really care. Not that he could.
He could have probably stopped them, or done something to keep the portal open for long enough for everyone else to go through, and done whatever was necessary over there. But what was the point, really? They had big fish to fry here, and the Melodious Nocturne knew there was very little love for Cory. So why risk their necks for someone they didn't even like? His only conclusion was the same one pretty much every guy came to at one point in his life:
Girls are weird.
He realized that his silence at the moment was distinctly out of character, and decided to open his mouth.
"Man, and it was the cute girls, too. How does that Cory dude get all the chicks? Makes no sense, I tell you."
((This is probably one of the crappiest posts I have done... like, ever. ><; Sorry 'bout that. Me brain am working bad and stuff.))

[Nithhogr .:. Narnia .:. Enclave]
The dragon Unversed grinned down at the Pictomancer's retaliation. Of course, his magical ability would fall short when fighting her. After all, he was designed to combat Cory in a one-on-one fight, not 3 girls who were all capable of besting him in a certain field. Light and ranged, water and ranged, magical defense. The dragon didn't stand a chance. Or, at least he wouldn't if he hadn't been dealt such a serious blow already.
Energy began to gather in the Unversed's mouth, the level of which it was compressed easily comparable to Cory's own Cataclysm-caliber techniques. The only difference was this creature's magical attack was five times stronger. This ought to put those girls in their place.
"I hope you girls down there light explosions! Planet Destruction Cannon!" Nithhogr leaned back, red light shining from his gaping mouth as he began to fire his Limit Break down to the ground below.
"Shut your mouth!" A blue flaming kick collided with the top of Nithhogr's head just before he fired his attack, the blast of energy going off prematurely and exploding in his gaping maw. Cory fell from the sky and half land, half crashed on the ground behind the girls.
Nithhogr followed suit, crashing to the ground before the four in a heaping pile of flaming darkness. The flames soon subsided as he shakily got to his feet, darkness covering the heavily wounded parts of his body, as though that was what really existed beneath his skin. "Damn, I hate you so much, Cory. Don't tell me-"
Cory stood up, Revblade in hand as he said, "Your illusion friend is dead. And you're next."
Nithhogr sighed heavily after a moment of silence, dismissing the Chainblade before saying, "Geez, I guess Master is gonna have to rebuild him, too. I knew he should have sent Fafnir here instead of me. He could have laid waste to these women while I used the bottom of your skull for my breakfast cereal." A dark portal opened up behind Nithhogr as he slowly stepped backward into it, grinning as he said, "Don't worry, though. We'll be back, and when that time comes we'll make sure you cute little girls don't have to worry about that loose cannon anymore."
The Revblade went soaring at Nithhogr only to miss as the Unversed vanished into darkness. The weapon crashed into another tree, piercing all the way through it so that six inches of the blade was visible on the other side of the trunk. Cory fell back into a sitting position, exhausted from the fighting. His breathing was labored, and he was covered in bruises and cuts. His fight with "Fafnir" might have been easy, but he was still brutalized by Nithhogr on two occasions in the same day.
"... Thanks for coming after me. Even though it was the most obvious of obvious traps."

[Amy : Narnia : Enclave]
Amy flinched back as the fire descended. He first instinct was to dodge away from it, but from what she had seen of Dani's attacks, her water could theoretically counter the attack. Kyla beat her to it, creating a transparent wall that the flames collided with; it reminded Amy of the family's wood burner fireplace back home. The flames looked hungry. Just beyond the immediate battle, the burning forest groaned and crackled in protest.
That's about the time Kyle's message came through. Amy answered. 'I don't know where we are, some kind of forest area. We're... well, we're doing pretty good right now. Kicking this dragon guy's butt, actually. Don't know how we'll get back- hang on a second.'
Amy honestly wasn't all that concerned, even when he announced his attack, which she assumed was a limit break, or something special. Thus when Cory appeared and stopped it, she didn't appreciate the rescue as much as she would have if, say, she'd had her a** kicked. She was pretty surprised to see Cory standing, actually... he had looked injured and limp earlier.
"Yeah, sure, no problem." Amy answered in a questionably sincere tone. "Are you okay?" She was a White Mage, after all; she was offering him healing.

[Cloud : Hawaii : Clearing]
The initial attack was slow, and like Leon, Cloud managed to avoid it. Genesis, it seemed, was keeping them on the defensive. Cloud recognized the second attack- it was one familiar to his own, one he had used repeatedly in fights with Sora.
Being on the receiving end of it was not fun. Alan might have seen the glow in the ground, emanating from Genesis's sword, before the explosion knocked Leon and Cloud back.
"Together," Cloud conceded. Obviously enough, he couldn't win on his own. Attacking Genesis like he did was... rash. He wondered, in a surreal sort of retrospect that couldn't last in the immediacy of the situation, why he had done so in the first place.
Cloud had no buff or magical enhancement. There were, however, disturbing black tendrils attached to him- something that Alan could see. At the moment, the tendrils were thin, but fluctuating uncertainly.
((I can't say what Leon and Genesis would look like to Alan. Gonna let James handle that.))

[Alice :: The Flying Dutchman :: Above Deck]
Alice could sense another being, but nothing like a Replica. It must've been the creation of another Unversed. Something these Replicas were so fond of toting around with them as if they each had their own bodyguard or personal servants. Alice leaned back and stared at the sky as she idly twirled a strand of her hair around her finger.
Are Unversed really that interesting?
.:Why, do you want an Unversed for yourself?:. CĂșchulainn sneered, a lazy chuckle building up in his throat.
Alice rolled her eyes as she pushed away from the railing; Alys spinning forth to hover by the animator's head. Maybe. I'm sure whoever I create would be better than you, Alice mused quietly. Either way, the Unversed were something new... something to be looked into for possible future use, if Alice cared enough for them.
