Hinote Tosatsu Neru Sakudu Would it be acceptable to bring in the Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi ( Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven ), Better known as the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi ( Grass Cutting Sword ), as a Custom weapon? The unstoppable sword that can cut through anything? Um, no. Actually that isn't the same sword. Orochimaru was seeking that sword. Really the Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi is just a blade that can manipulate air currents. That is basically all it does. At least according to Japanese myth. The only thing is that it was found inside of Yamata-no-Orochi.

And could extend, cut though anything, and was unbreakable

Ugh, you guys take everything too literally. Obviously the sword would be brought to our standards, but that doesn't mean it would be denied because of something in the show. Remember: We are not Naruto.

Remember: We are not Naruto. The swords power was to cut though anything and be unbreakable, it impossible to bring to any standards. To remove that is to make an entirely different weapon

The Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi ( Grass Cutting Sword ) he is referring to comes direct from Japanese mythology. There, it had the ability to ctronol wind currents and was wielded by Susanoo and later some farmer dude.

I was more referring to the fact he said Orochimaru was seeking the Kusanagi, he already had it and it was the one that could cut though anything and it could levitate in the air, and all this. That is the Kusanagi of the naruto world. Also Orochimaru was seeking Susanoo's Sword of Totsuka.

It couldn't cut through everything but I can see what you mean. I'm just saying that he is referring to the 'real' version of the sword instead of Orochimaru's.

Martin Spiralwave It couldn't cut through everything but I can see what you mean. I'm just saying that he is referring to the 'real' version of the sword instead of Orochimaru's. The only thing it couldn't cut though was Naruto's 4 tail chakra armor. But it was able to cut though Ema's diamond staff form. Also I don't see why you need to ask to bring in a weapon that was never in the series (if he talking about the legend form) I could simpley submit a custom and call it Excalibur, doesn't mean it as strong as that one...Though part of me would love to release legendary weapons into the guild

How is it fair that someone worked hard on making a custom, that at least 10 sentences. More then most normal jutsu, then had to do a detailed rp sample, and then has to post learning on top of that. Which that was the reason your only allowed to submit 3 a week, not to mention it takes at least 6 days to get anything approved. I've had a custom weapon that been in approval for over a month now, It nothing more then being paranoid that people will flood the custom jutsu, which they wont. I mean even now the custom jutsu section backed up over 2 weeks. I doubt changing it to where they auto learning it will change anything. Especially since I know from experience, it doesn't change anything.
But hey I'm not looking to change it, I'm just pointing out the flaw in that logic.
