Zemes half smiled at Debido before another set of arms gently took the egg, "Sure thing.." he said before he, Shina and the egg vanished under the ground, leaving what looked almost like a small anthill.
When they were deeper Shina spoke to him, "..I understand.." Zemes said as he set down in a spot she made for her, he placed Debido's egg on a pedestal with 'claws' to keep the egg in place.
Kai looked down at the ground for a moment and narrowed his gaze, then went back to scanning the area while waiting to go.
Skye tested the string of her bow before sliding it on her shoulder.

Zeng Hen glared. "Damn whelp." he said before holding his hand out to Harmony. A force seemed to take hold of her body as she was slammed into the floor, face first.

Kusargi actually growled, then made another ice spike and broke her bonds.
"Not this time," she said as she made another ice barrier. She turned to Harmony and smiled kindly. "You ok?"

"Damn you two are a handfull. Guards!" as he shouted a group of 10 soldiers, clad in armor more elegant and flashy than the ones at the inn rushed over. "Restrain them!" he ordered and the guards simultaneously fired large blasts of mana at the ice barrier, shattering it with ease and they charged the two girls.

Harmony made no time to lay down after she had been thrown and landed face first. Her nose was bleeding a little, but luckily it didn't look broken. When the soldiers came at them, Harmony ran and hid behind Kusargi, waiting to see what she would do first.. She was clearly still terrified, but she seemed to have a bit of feisty in her as well..

Kusargi smiled at Harmony again, then used the ice chunks to keep the guards at bay for a little while. She stared them down, hoping they would stop after a little bit, which they wouldn't but it was worth a shot.

As the two girls' attention was distracted by the guards, a puppet rose out of their shadows from behind and it's chest opened up. Out of it came barbed wire which wrapped around the two tightly, cutting into them as well. "Hmph.....humans." Zeng Hen said, holding his hand up, facing towards the puppet.

Kusargi snarled at Zeng Hen as the barbed wire that cut into her skin. Blood flowed freely down her arm as she wimpered.
Icia, hurry!
Icia watched as cuts appeared on her arm, mimicking her master's cuts.
"Someone better get a move on before Kusargi is killed."

Melody sat against the trunk of a tree with her arms wrapt around her knees. This is where Debido left her. And she couldn't blame him. As long as she was still blind, she wouldn't be much help in combat much less against Zeng Hen, who single-handedly invaded and conquered her own kingdom of the shadow realm. Feeling very useless and alone, she began to cry to herself. And this was something she rarely did.
"Ssssisssterrr?" Xephers voice sounded deeper as a protective shadow cast itself over Melody. "Whatssss wrong? Do you not believe Debido will ssssurvive."
"Of course I do. I have no doubt in him, but maybe not for me..."
"Well thennn whaaatsssss wrong?"
"I'm... *sob* useless to him, to everyone. And there's nothing I can do."

Zeng Hen chuckled. "Hmmm......I think I'll have a little fun with you two....." he raised his hand and Kusargi forcefully turned around to face Harmony, the wire digging into her more. "The sage of thunder.....the one responsible for the destruction of her village, as well as the loss of countless innocent humans' lives....let's see what we can do...." he said as a spell circle appeared by his side.
Next to Melody, a figure dropped out of the trees. He was a man, tall but very scrawny. His entire body looked as if it were torn to pieces and poorly sewn back together, including his tattered cat ears and tail, which seemed to lie limp. He wore a blindfold, which seemed to be soaked with blood near the eye sockets. "You're not useless you know." the man said in a cold, near lifeless voice. ((oh yeah! he's comin back too! biggrin ))

Kusargi's glare didn't leave Zeng Hen, with more blood spewing from her arms. She felt like it was digging into her muscle and soon she knew that she would lose feeling in her arms. She glanced at Harmony and sighed.
"Don't do it Harmony. It's okay. The worse thing he can do is kill me." At least, I hope that's the worse he can do.

He let out a low, evil laugh. "Trust me child, there's far worse I could do to you." as he said that, Karait appeared out of the spell circle.
"What isss it massster?" Karait hissed, glancing over to the two captives.
"We're going to have a little fun...." he replied to the snake creature.

Harmony's eyes went wide with fear and then she turned her face away from Kusargi, shaking her head worriedly, but she refused to make a sound or maybe she had forgotten how to use her voice...

"Let's see what we can get out of her...." Zeng Hen said evily.
With that, Karait slithered across the floor, gliding over towards Harmony and Kusargi, the air filling with the sense of fear.
