Ayumi watched Jangen warily. He seemed to not like her very much...she shrugged. Not her problem if she left a bad first impression on people. While fighting Pander, she'd put a little microphone on him when she kicked him, and was currently listening to their conversation from another device.
That fool...he thinks Yume will die that easily? As soon as she's on her deathbed, I'm looking for a suitable body for her to re-incarnate into. If she dies, I die. I cannot let that happen.
Yume was stirring now, her wounds stinging less than they were before. She looked at Ayumi, questioning her as to where Pander was.
Where is he? Where is Pander?
Your lover is off finding some woman named Scytheress. My words fell upon deaf ears, so I repeat them again. See how he abandons you--
He didn't abandon me! He wouldn't! You're putting us through trials...your interference is only making our bond stronger. I know he wouldn't leave me. I have no doubts.

Scytheress let out a deep sigh, taking a few lazy steps back away from Kujiro who seemed to want to have nothing to do with her anymore. She couldn't sence whatever it was he was staring at anyway so instead of getting upset with him she'd just forget about it for now and go on her merry way. After all there was a force out there she could feel that had been calling out for her for some time now. Periodically her name was being shouted through the forest with leveling tones of urgency. However... now they'd stopped. Scythe could still feel Pander and his companions, that was simple enough as none of them bothered to conceal themselves in the slightest and the Fox's senses were already working overtime.
"Tch, boku wa baka desu yo? Demo...gah, ja ne!" Scytheress's change in dialect was completely out of the blue but it also signified her change in interest. She ran her hand through her hair as she spoke, leaning back but bending forward slightly to balance herself, and rocked on her heels. This was getting boring. She'd gotten here with the prospect of a great fight but it had now gone completely out the window. Bored out of her mind at waiting, Scy stood up straight and pivoted to walk off into the lush uncharred wood, waving her hand over her shoulder absently.
Pander was an easy target to find and it wasn't long before she was travelling right behind him with her arms tucked behind her head. He'd never know she was there unless she wanted him to; her aura was fully masked and her bare feet didn't make a single sound on the forest floor. He had someone with him, she's known but seeing this other one upclose was a bit different. Scythe scrutinized him from behind but over all lost interest, it wasn't the friend who had been crying out for her. But even with the Fox's curiousity to know why she'd been called she was getting entirely too much entertainment in following these two. Everytime they would turn even in the slightest Scytheress would vanish into thin air only to reappear again when she was certain they weren't going to look again. it wasn't until a good deal later than she announced herself. "Ne doshite, Pan-kun? Daijobu ka?" She stopped walking, her hands coiling themselves back behind her head again as she scoffed the ground with her heel and looked down to the swaying grass.

Hai. Daijobu. Soshite ka?
He turned slowly, Dirge following suit. Pander was glad to see that Scytheress was ok. So glad that he smiled. He took a few steps closer, not sure whether to extend his hand or give the fox a hug. He desided to extend his hand. If the fox wanted a hug, she could take it.
I suddenly felt wierd. I could feel you're energy again. Something felt wrong though. I felt like danger was closing in. I was hoping you would know what was going on.
Jangen stepped out of the trees. His large metal body was covered in dirt and leaves. He slid one large sword back into it's clips on his back. You could see that he had to carve a path to fit through.
Pander, Dirge, everything ok or have you just found Scytheress now?
His joints creaked as he moved now. He moved over to Dirge and pulled out an oil can. Jangen lubricated his joints then replaced the oil can in the cest compartment he had taken it from.

Ayumi cautiously watched Jangen walk off to a certain direction and then keep going.
Come on Yume. Let's go. I guess we have to follow Jangen.
Yume nodded uncertainly and followed behind Ayumi, since she seemed to know where she was going. I need to stop being so insecure...
I think you need to stop being so insecure too.
Stop that!
Ayumi smirked and saw Pander, Dirge, Jangen, and another woman, obviously Scytheress. I guess we're here... Yume smiled and looked up. To properly greet the other person there.
Hello Scytheress.

Scytheress grinned, pulling her hands from behind her head to fall down and slap her sides loudly. "Quite the little gathering we've got goin' on here. I have no clue why I'm a part of it, or why I seemed to have caused it, but meh, you're people, I'm people, well, person... Ah forget it." Scy waved her hand a few times, dismissing what she'd just rambled off. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Ok, so what's going on? Nothin's happenin' with me. At least not anymore. There had been this lady demon thing but she ran off now. So nothin's up. Freakin borin' ya know? But why do you care? You've got your b***h there so why come after me? Like my demons that much?" She winked at Pander with a slight smirk
A light breeze was picking up in the woods, swaying the branches of the trees and plucking down leaves to swirl around them. Scytheress crossed her arms over her chest as the scent of the decaying landscape reached her nose and made her cringe. The smell of smoke and fire brought back too many memories for her, memories she'd like to leave hidden under the Tomb. Slowly the Fox seemed to be slipping from her non-caring self into a depression.
Saving her from her slump was a light flutter of air that brought to her attention a pair of apendages coming off the back of some demon woman present. They were almost four an a half feet long wings making a soft flapping noise in the wind and Scythe had a hidden sense of pride when it came to this subject. She fixed Ayumi with a hard stare, her golden eyes flashing a fair red as the wind picked up. As though the breeze had pulled them out, two feathered black wings sprang from Scytheress's back, arching beautifully into the sky before folding delicately behind her. Each wing was a stunning 8 feet long, arcing over the woman's head and then draping down to drag a few feathers softly on the ground. The black feathers ruffled as a shiver ran down their owner's spine. it was a good feeling to have such pretty wings. Scythe finally released Ayumi's gaze by closing her eyes and bowing her head briefly in a "I'm better than you are" type of gesture.
By this point, she'd forgotten all about her previous ordeal with Kujiro and her forboading conversation with Pander.

He dropped his hand and crouched to the ground. His leather jacket gathered on the ground and he slowly traced lines in the dirt.
Scytheress... I called because I felt like there was danger closing in on you. You were the first person who talked to me other than the secretaries. I consider you a friend, and I don't leave friends to fight alone unless they ask me too. And even then, I leave grudgingly.
Jangen stayed standing as Dirge laid down beside Pander. The three men were a generation apart from each other. None looked alike, yet they were family. Pander was related to Yume by marriage and he was related to Scytheress by no means. The gathering felt to him like a family reunion somehow.
Is this family grandfather? Great great grandfather?
Yes.
And no.
It depends on your definition of family I guess.
We three are family... and Yume is my sister by marriage... but why do I feel so attached to Scytheress? She was the first person who talked to me, so what. I've had many people like that but never felt like this. Scytheress... do you like me?
He looked up at her. His face was stone but his eyes showed how he really felt. If you looked closely, you could see a picture of his face in his eyes. He was crying like a child. Crying out for support. He was lost and confused. He tried not to show it, or any emotion, but the fact remained that he felt alone in a crowd.

Ayumi watched as Scytheress haughtily opened her wings and showed off their large size. She sighed and shook her head. Wing size was of no importance to her. It was skill that caught her attention. Ayumi stayed close to Yume and telepathically transfered a message.
See how he betrays you... Yume smiled at Ayumi.
It matters not that he doesn't care for me anymore. I won't cry because it's over, I'll smile because it happened.
You're a very foolish child, showing your emotions like that.
It takes more courage to chow your emotions than to hide them.
Ayumi glared at Yume and huffed in annoyance as she crossed her arms. That girl was just too much trouble sometimes. Yume smiled slightly and looked at the grass beneath her feet. While avoiding Ayumi's intense glare, she also discovered a small shining object in the ground. It's so beautiful... Yume crouched down and picked it up, brushing the dirt off of it. It was a peice of crystal.
What is it doing here?

He guided Riiko into the forest, to a small clearing near a large cliff. "Hold on one second." He walked into a forest and walked to a nearby tree. It was covered with every single flower in the world. He grabbed a dozen of the most beautiful flowers and walked back over to Riiko. He put the flowers down on the ground. "Watch this." He closed his eyes and focused on the flowers. Soon, the flowers started to shake, and more flowers sprung up from the ground. More and more formed until he opened his eyes. They were surrounded by flowers. "I've been working on making things grow with my mind since I was seven. And now, for you, I've been able to do it."

"Wow"she said smiling as she looked around and saw all the different kinds of flowers. "Watch this"she said and walked to the edge of the cliff, she closed her eyes and lowered her hands then slowly brought them up. As she did so the earth from the lower ground slowly started to rise till it was level with the current ground. She blinked and covering that part was thousands of sunflowers and daisys. She giggled slightly then walked back to him smiling.

He grabbed Riiko's hand gently and started to dance to no music. He pulled her close and kissed her. He smiled and giggled slightly. He used his powers once more to make a silver orchid grow in a lock of Riiko's hair. "It's beautiful up here." He looked over at her. "Just like you." He smiled and danced with her again.

Riiko blushed as she continued to dance with him, her face slightly red. "I'm really happy I found you"she said as she put her head on his shoulder the silver orchid still in her hair, making a perfect contrast with her black hair. She wanted to dance on forever and ever and never let go, she never wanted to let him go, he was so perfect, he always knew just what to do and just what to say. She smiled as she looked back up into his bright eyes and gave him a passionate kiss full of love.

He closed his eyes as she kissed him. He lifted them both off the ground, and they were dancing in the air. He started to sing a Rick Astley tune from 1987 lightly, "Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down, Never gonna run around and desert you, Never gonna make you cry, Never gonna say goodbye, Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you." He felt like the world didn't matter when he held Riiko was in his arms.

Riiko continued to dance on around with him, soon not only did she feel like she was on a cloud, but she was literaly dancing on one with her bare feet. "I love you so much Mikhail"she said "I'll always love you no matter what happens, I'm always yours and only yours"she said as she continued to dance with him and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'll always love you." He smiled as she put her head on his shoulder. "The world belogns to you, my love." He grinned and opened his eyes. He brought them back to the ground, and a little baby squirrell walked up to them. It hopped on Mihkail's other shoulder, and started to chatter about. he smiled. He didn't want this moment to end.

[Mrf, now I'm waiting for Joy to post. Gah, well I'm posting a majority of Kujiro stuff now since I'm waiting for her to respond to Tallan. x.x;]
Scytheress was becoming an obvious annoyance to the taller, dark eyed man. It was evident when, upon poking him, his eyes narrowed in irritation and his head cocked to the side. But she soon lost interest in the blank staring ahead, seeing nothing beyond the charred clearing within the forest that he saw. Though, did he actually see anything? It was not long after she had left his side did his eye lids begin to lightly twitch. The convulsion of movement, though barely noticeable, was a clear indication of something...off about him. His gaze was distant, held deep within the shadows of the dark forest, barely able to keep focus. A pulse flared over the darkness, at least, through the darkness his vision held within it. For the briefest of moments, there was a face, or rather, the image of a face. Though most notable of this was a pair of azure, ethereal like eyes that cut through any shadow or blackness that otherwise masked Kujiro's vision. There was doubt, was well as confusion as to how this, the only presence felt, was all he could see within the night which normally was so clear to him.
"Well my dear...?" Truth's softly spoken question came in anticipation of Ella's response. The tendrils slowly crept away from the two though, slowly slipping back toward the hand which reached out with them, slithering back into the ground and even into the blackness of his arm as he relaxed back somewhat. "Do we...have a deal or do we not? I have offered but...you have not responded." steadily did the blackness of the right, gloved hand reach up to his heart and place itself on it again. With no young woman to grasp, he simply rested the hand where it often was on so many other occasions. As he spoke, and awaited an answer, he turned away from the two and looked out to the side, further off where the charred clearing was. "Do provide an answer, if you please. The...peace of the forest is not quite meant..." he paused in mid-sentence, and breathed in deeply, puffing his chest up and broadening his smile. "...to last." a brief flash of bright blue came over the already azure hues of his ethereal eyes. They glowed within the night once more, though neither Joy nor Ella would see this since his body was turned sideways. "I would...most certainly hate for you...to be drawn into it..."
Kujiro jumped with a slight start, his body freezing for a split second in utter shock. There it was again, the vision of that face, those eyes, and immediately he tensed from it all. "Do we have a deal or do we not?" another tense force shot through his body as he heard the familiar and far too calm voice speak in his mind. "Do provide an answer, if you please." again, his voice. Kujiro shuddered as he saw the pair of eyes again, opening to his face, his mind gazing upon them but for a flash of a moment. "...not quite meant..." he twitched again, though still managed to hold his dark eyed gaze onto the forest. His head was shivering, though, the shivers becoming more uncontrolled as the man's image become ever more clear. "...to last." his eyes widened. "Y-Yo...!" he finally realized. "...to last." the face became suddenly clear, as did the voice, as did those eyes. "...to last." and then, shock...and then, the face began to vanish. "N...No...ho...you will...not..." Kujiro's body began to shake as he began to force himself into concentration, his mind all at once straining itself.
But just as he began to bring himself to a deeper, heavier state of forced focus... "Tch, boku wa baka desu yo? Demo...gah, ja ne!" ...a voice! It was a female voice...a familiar and recent voice. "Hai. Daijobu. Soshite ka?" another voice entered his mind, a male voice. The shiver returned, and then again... "Come on Yume. Let's go." his eyes, they once again widened in shock. "Urgh..." they wouldn't stop though. "Quite the little gathering It depends on your definition of fam... and Yume is my sister by marriage... See how he betrays you... The voices all pounded at his head, the image become more and more transparent as the voices began to bombard him, yet he knew not why. And he had little time to question it as suddenly... "Gah...!" ...it stopped. The image was gone, the darkness...now returning to its normality, or as 'normal' as it could be. The image of the man was gone, not completely confirmed and Kujiro's eyes...they were no longer covered in blackness.
He stood there in slight disarray, his currently blank stare simply...watching nothing. "What...?" he turned his head back. "What...?" then, his entire body turned as he looked onward. There was a slight shiver to his body, a shake...though, no longer was his mind being overwhelmed, so it was most certainly not from that. "Them..." his eyes, they narrowed, and he sneered. "Them..." his right hand slowly...shivered, the fingers shaking lightly as the joints bent, though slowly, making a steady rhythm of popping noises. "How dare they..." following it...his teeth grit, clenching tightly. "How...how dare they..." his eyes suddenly become focused once again, and immediately did they focus onto those well ahead of him, Scytheress, Pander, as well as the others with them. "They have no right to interfere..." he growled, the blackness once again beginning to overtake the whites of his eyes. "Those scum! They have no right to interfere!" a furry overtook him...
"Their sacrifices...are now...necessary..."
"Their sacrifices...are now...necessary..."
Not Scytheress, not Pander, Yume, Ayumi, or the two ancesters of the Fox Halfling's friend would have a single moment's notice. He was there, already right there, in between Scytheress and Pander, on Scy's left and his right. Kujiro, standing there and slightly leaning forward, his eyes tilting toward Scy for but a moment. By the time they did, however, the blackness had overtaken them both. His elbow thrust at her with an intense speed seemingly only possible by such a man as he. The elbow shot was aimed straight for her face, or more precisely, her nose. It would send a fluxing wave over her face from impact, one that would drive a sensation not unlike a very heavy, sudden headache like a vice squeezing down on her. As for her nose, it would immediately be broken and relinquish her of whatever blood she might have in her living yet not quite living body. But it would not be the end of his first attack, not by far. His right hand immediately began charging a small, black sphere of flame within its palm. Before Scy would even have the chance to fall, Kujiro would have slipped behind her, propping her leaning and possibly slightly limp body with his own back. He then would turn her while she still leaned against him so that her front would face Pander. From there, Kujiro would take hold of her left shoulder while turning around, pressing the now large sphere against her back, then pushing her forward whilst launching the black sphere against her body. The force would create a distortion of air around the sphere in a circular form, and send her flying at Pander. The sphere would cause quite a burning and cutting sensation, though probably would not go through her because of both the slight alignment to his power and the wings she had on her back. However, should she come into contact with something solid or hard enough, her body would stop the sphere and cause it to explode, creating an explosion a few meters wide in diameter that would undoubtedly cause more harm to her and those around her from impacting.
