"Well that was fun." Came Sarah's eternally bored voice to the side. "Lets get going though or we will miss our own contest."
"Good idea, can't believe that ugly Raticate won." Jayme said. Both of them got up and started to head to the exit. Robin noticed just in time and dashed after them. Catching up just in time Robin walked next to them as they exited the coliseum. The city of Saffron was huge and they were navigating the wide streets at a rapid pace. Just as they were passing the pokemon center Robin remembered that she had to call Professor Elm, that way she could check out her pokedex while Luffy practiced making his moves flashy.
"Um guys can we stop at the pokemon center? I need to get my pokedex upgraded." Robin asked the other two girls shyly.
"Eh? Upgrade your pokedex?" Jayme asked looking back at the girl with an annoyed look on her face.
"That thing we did earlier Jayme." Sarah muttered. "Sure it doesn't take to long. Just hurry up." Was all she muttered stopping outside of the pokemon center.
"Thank you!" Robin exclaimed before running into the pokemon center and seating herself down at one of the television phones. Most of the professors had there numbers stored on the computer. The one Robin and Luffy had picked was no different. Picking Professor Elms number she waited as it rung. After a few rings the skinny man picked up his line and appeared on the screen. "Hello Professor!" Robin greeted.
"Oh hello Robin, Luffy. I take it you want your pokedex upgraded?" The friendly if geeky looking man asked. "If it isn't to much trouble."
"Oh no trouble at all. All the information about this Sinnoh region is very interesting. You and Luffy have quite a surprise coming up if what I can see from your Aipom is correct. "
"Huh? Does he get any new moves?" Robin asked excited, Luffy also looked really excited as well. New moves would be so cool!
"Heh something like that. I won't ruin the surprise. Well if that is it I really should get back to looking at all this new data." The man sounded very excited about going back to reading all about this new stuff.
"All right I will leave you to it! Thanks for the upgrade." Robin ended the call and grinned excitedly at Luffy she exited the pokemon center waving good bye at Nurse Joy. "All right! Thank you for waiting for me!"
"Took you long enough, lets go." Jayme said and they started walking again reaching the Saffron City limits in no time. All the while Robin's face was buried in her pokedex studying all the new stuff inside of it.

Riza laughed out loud and spun around on the spot before running over to Sneasel and lifting her up off the ground, the two of them spinning and laughing together for a few moments. They stopped only because they were getting dizzy, and because Riza wanted to pick up the ball containing her new Corphish before she forgot about it. Sneasel hopped to the ground, wobbling a bit but regained her balance rather quickly. Riza wasn't so lucky, however, and as she bent over to pick up the sphere from the ground the ground seemed to shift suddenly and she was on the ground, laughing all over again. "Oh, this is awesome," she giggled, looking over at Crenu as he congratulated her. "Thanks," she said, closing her eyes and allowing her equilibrium to return to her before she sat up, looking over at the strange cone-shaped Pokemon that Crenu had released. 'When did he capture that thing?' she thought, standing up and walking over to Crenu where she crouched down beside him, staring at the strange Pokemon intently. "Oh, this is the part where I should get the Pokedex to check and see what it is," she said, a little amazed at her own flakiness. She held up the black and white device, waiting to see what it would say.
"Let's see here. Snorunt. Known as the snow hat Pokemon, it is said that in snowy countries, a household is said to prosper if a Snorunt lives there. It can withstand cold of minus 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Wow." Riza snapped the dex shut and slipped it into her pocket. "It's really cute," she said, tilting her head to get a better look at the Snorunt.

"Shiva, get back!" Keegan barked, shooting a quick glare Jaeshan's way. The rocks crashed to the ground all around them, with the Sealeo managing to avoid getting herself crushed in the process. "A little reckless, don't you think?" the redhead grumbled sarcastically, still giving Jaeshan a rather disapproving look. Reckless or not, however, it was effective enough to take the Snorlax out of the battle, and stop the Scyther from attacking Shiva as well. Keegan hated to admit it, but it had been a good call. He looked back at the fainted Snorlax, smirking as it was recalled. Jaeshan was better at this than he was giving himself credit for, but Keegan wasn't about to say anything - if anything, Jaeshan was doing rather well and he didn't want to do anything to mess with his confidence.
"I ain't beat yet," the Snorlax trainer shouted, throwing out another Pokeball. This time, a medium-sized, white Pokemon appeared, and Keegan quickly recognized it as a Vigoroth. "Use Fury Swipes on the chicken, Vigoroth!" he shouted. The ape-like Pokemon let out a shriek and charged at Combusken, its arms flailing around wildly.
"Ice Ball, Shiva!" Keegan commanded finally, pointing at the Scyther. Speaking of confidence, he was feeling rather full of it himself, and chuckled to himself as he watched the Sealeo coat herself in a thin layer of ice before curling into a ball and rolling towards the Mantis Pokemon, barking happily the whole time. ===== A few uneventful hours later, a rather tired Miharu arrived in Goldenrod City, very much regretting not waiting until tomorrow to make the return trip. By the time she'd made it to the Pokemon Center she was so tired she could barely fold up her Mach Bike and stumble through the sliding doors. The small girl nodded politely to the night-nurse and headed straight to the bathroom where she washed up and brushed her teeth, then found herself an empty room and crashed for the night, so tired she'd fallen asleep just seconds after her head hit the pillow.
She awoke the next morning much, much later than she intended to. She must have needed all that sleep though, because she felt quite rested and ready to face her day today, which happened to include her next gym match. She had a nice, hot shower and got dressed before she headed out into the main lobby, unable to keep herself from smiling. She had a good feeling about today, and she wanted to start it off right, which meant having a good breakfast. She then went to the cafeteria to get food for herself as well as her party.

Following Sarah and Jayme outside the gate Robin let Luffy lead her along. Professor Elm was right! This new info was really interesting! Forcing herself to look away from all the new pokemon from the Sinnoh region, there were so many and they were so interesting! Pointing the pokedex down she scanned Luffy in and waited for his information to pop up. When it did and she saw his new moves that he would sometimes be able to use she giggled excitedly. There were two new moves coming up! Looking at his strength level he was really close to learning a move called Double Hit to. How cool would that be to show of Luffy's new moves to everyone, she didn't think he would get to use it in the contest but soon with some training he would be able to. What Robin didn't notice was the little notice that read, 'Next Evolution' on the page before she decided to scan Raz's pokeball in.
As she waited for Raz's info to pop up she looked around the area, it really was a very short route they would make it to Cerulean in no time really. With Raz's info up she peered down at it and what she saw made her ooh and aah in surprise. For some reason he knew Faint Attack now, Robin didn't question it and instead was glad he knew the attack. Wow towards his higher levels he got a lot of the new moves. Clicking the new moves she read up on them, they all sounded so cool! Air Slash sounded like a great move, she couldn't wait till Raz was strong enough to use it. Giggling excitedly Robin kissed Raz's parkball and placed it back on her belt. "Heh, Raz gets a lot of cool moves Luffy." The little Aipom just looked up at her and stuck his tongue out at her. Once again Robin didn't see the
Last but not least she scanned in Brook's info. She had recently looked the little Hoppip up but she hadn't been able to see his new moves then. Well it seemed like everyone was getting a lot of cool moves but Luffy. She giggled slightly at the thought of her little Aipom maybe feeling left out. Then again Luffy would make his own moves so it didn't really matter. Reading about Brooks new moves felt herself grow more excited as she walked. Still no matter how cool they were Robin did need to start working on things for the contest. Shutting her pokedex she resolved to look through it some more but right now she had her pokemon all set and looked up. "All right Luffy lets try to get some practicing done before the contest."

"It's not a question of how fast your Rapidash can be!" Kilik said, "but whether it can predict just where..." he looked along the ground, "Flareon is going to pop up!" He looked up at the sky. Though the sun was beating down harshly on them, he could see a cluster of very dark clouds gathering on the horizon. It was as if the sun was the only thing keeping them at bay and the moment it let up, they would swarm and cover them all in darkness. Kilik brushed his hand across his lip. "Go!" he barked.
From underground, the fox couldn't really hear Kilik's order for when to pop up, so it went totally ignored. He continued to play underground for a while before digging small holes in the surface to see his target. When he finally found the Rapidash, Flareon burst out of the ground and smashed himself against the horse's side. Kilik nodded. That's how he played!

"The Gym?" Mazarin looked at his wrist communicator. "How do you know? I mean, that's such a weird place to go!" Yet as he was saying this, Murkrow was carrying him to the roof of the building. He placed his ear to the roof and could hear a battle going on inside. "Well, Alastor, you were right. That's where he is! Thanks for the tip!" And he hung up. The boy stood on the roof, and paced back and forth, thinking exactly how he was going to catch Mike at this point.
"It's obvious he's stronger than me, Pokemon-wise, so I have to find some way to gain a physical advantage on him..." He placed a hand on his chin as he walked back and forth. Annoyed, Murkrow disappeared back into his ball. Of all his Pokemon, Murkrow was the only one who really seemed to despise the boy. Mazarin snapped his fingers. "I got it! He's gotta come out of that Gym sometime!"
He crawled quietly over to the front of the building, leering over the edge. "But how to..." he laughed, "I know!" He pulled a ball off of his belt and released his Shuckle. "Nothin' like fifty pounds RIGHT to the head!" He held the Shuckle over the edge (the Pokemon appeared to be very confused, but went along with it anyway.) and when he heard the door open, he peeked down. There he is! Mazarin squealed with joy. "BOOOOMBS AWAAAAAAY!" he cried, dropping the Shuckle right on top of Mike's head with a loud, very cartoonish THUD. Mazarin stood up and clapped his hands many times, laughing gleefully. "Winner, winner, Chicken DINNNERRRR!" In a very Mazarin fashion, his cheers consisted of claps, jumps and pelvic thrusts. He jumped off the roof and landed gracefully next to Mike.
And he slapped the cuffs on.

My god, was this what Slowbro felt? Daemyn would have yelped out in pain, but his stubborn jaws refused to let go of the Manectric's tail. For all the hurt his damage inflicted on his tail, the more Daemyn wanted to clamp on to prevent howling. Much like the days before anesthetic was invented, and surgery patients were simply given a piece of wood to bite down on for pain relief.
'It's a dog fight in there,' M.A. thought to herself, head pounding as she tried to figure out what to do now. Daemyn wouldn't last much longer like this; the Houndoom was visibly fatigued. "Ah, thank you," she said to the kind Magnemite, so distracted by the battle that when she tried to yank the metal glass from the Magnemite's magnetic force, she nearly sent it flying. Diego saved it by painting a baseball mitt, sighing. His new trainer was so, so much more trouble than his master...
Gulping the water down, however, made the brunette's head feel much better and clearer; the headache seemed to reside some. "My name's M.A., from Fallorbor Town," she called to the Gym Leader with a sunny smile. "And I forgot to say, it's an honor to battle you! But first things first," she said, tuning into the battle once more. Her sharp eyes caught a wave of continual static rolling across the Manectric's body, as well as Daemyn's stiff bite on its tail. "Daemyn! Pull off, now!" M.A. called, realizing the danger here.
With a lot of force, the dog managed to pry his teeth off, letting out the howl that he had suppressed all this time. Now, to get rid of the thing on his own tail; Daemyn thrashed furiously, sending a chaotic hind leg right into the bugger's eyes. He then skiddaddled away some, standing before M.A. once more.
The damage was done, though, and they both knew it. Static was rolling across Daemyn's body, now, and he suddenly found moving difficult. "Paralysis," M.A. frowned, sighing. That'd make things difficult. Good thing he didn't stay longer on the Electric-type, or he'd be as good as a manikin here.
lalalalalala life is wonderful~
Jun grinned wolfishly at this Annie girl reached for his face. Goodie goodie, a slap to the face would have been such a boring reaction! This girl had game, he liked that. He had to admit, her long fingers caressing his smooth face felt pretty good, like a breeze tickling his skin. But Jun was a masochist at heart, you see, and he really just found this a nice little massage.
Nevertheless, he didn't hide his pleasure, and put his own soft hand on the girl's hand under his cheek, letting his fingers wander from her digits to her wrist before running a finger across her gem bracelet. Real ones, he could tell from the touch. A girl with some class, that was always nice; he abhorred fake things, thought it awfully gaudy and presumptuous. Don't flaunt it if you don't got it! "Shu-- Fierce. Jun Fierce," he replied, imitating her with a cheeky gleam to his eyes. He had nearly let his family name slip, which caused his lips to twitch downwards for a millisecond, but no matter. No one would believe that he was of the Shuugo family anyways.
"How about a little walk when you're done, beautiful?" Jun said. "Don't worry about your hair, I've got an umbrella here for the both of us. We could stroll about, and I'll carry you across the puddles and all that romantic shi--stuff," he said, jesting now.
Jun resisted asking her secret to keeping her figure so well. Probably a fast metabolism, Jun sighed. As for himself, he feared eating protein, as it'd start packing the muscles on him. And he wanted to ask her how she kept her skin so lovely, but figured those were dangerous topics. Ronnie could teach her a thing or two about mascara application, though, hers were somewhat uneven upon inspection.

"Speed may not help us dodge your attack, but it'll help with counter attacks!" Mitsu replied, gritting her teeth a bit. Flareon had the upper hand in more than one case here; they'd have to work really hard to simply dodge those Digs. Oh this was going to be a tough one. It was thier first battle together, while Flareon and Kilik probably have faces several dozen, at the least. We'll have to learn how to sync really fast if we want to win this one Mitsu thought, getting a little bit worried.
Apollo cried out as the fox-like Pokemon smashed into his side, debris from the earth flying at the same time. That one hurt! "Now!" Mitsu shouted point at Flareon, "use that speed to counter with Stomp!" Apollo neighed in conformation before brushing off Flareon's attack to retaliate. His front legs were already raised from the pain of the Dig so he cleverly made use of that momentum to bring his front hooves crashing down upon the Flareon.

Annie withdrew her hand, only to polish off her breakfast. Oh lovely, there was a cup of joe already on her table waiting for her. The girl from before must have been a smart one, to give her a morning drink too. Annie smiled secretly, taking a sip of the hot stuff, the girl at least caught on faster than most waiters. She didn't have to be screamed at more than once. "Jun Fierce, eh?" Annie commented, not believing the name at all. She smiled, a flash of something sinister playing on her lips for a split second. Not even that little frown or screw up that he'd made could escape her ever-alert sense. She'd been trained for this kind of stuff.
Damn, there she went once more thinking about useless stuff. She, after all, still had a game to win here. "A walk sounds lovely," Annie replied after giving her lips a soft pat with the cloth napkins, "minus the 'romantic s**t'." She grinned, very pleased to have caught his third mistake.

He didn't miss the skepticism in her smile; after all, Jun could read the heart of any woman. But he grinned nevertheless, glad his opponent in this game was a clever one. It would make winning all the more sweet! As long as he didn't go fool, he still had his trump card.
Jun had stood up by now, taking a step around the small table to offer a hand to the lovely woman. Not that she couldn't get up herself, or anything, but it was a nice notion in this chivalrous world. "Oh, that's quite fine, then," Jun said, smiling brilliantly. "And here I was worrying that you'd be one of those prissy women who couldn't stand," he said from behind her, putting his lips close to her right ear and whispering this last part, "a little profanity."
They went out now, Jun holding a Burberry umbrella over their heads. Thank god he had picked his black one, today. It satisfied his need for luxury, but did not scream fashion-obsessed that his plaid one did. Thank god for basics.
It was raining, but it wasn't raining like a b***h. The puddles were rather either to circumvent, so there was no need for Jun to carry her across. Not that he really wanted too, anyways. It seemed like too much work, and heaven forbid his muscles show up. "Where you from, raven-locks?" Jun asked, still playful in tone.

"Yeah, but not very strong." The Snorunt started to shiver as a sad look came across her face, fearing that this trainer would be the same as the last. Crenu reached his hand out and placed it on the cone tipped head of small pokemon, calm in his demeanor. "So you're a Snorunt. 150 below 0, that's impressive. But is it impressive enough to want to keep you around?" He was serious in his question, Poliwhirl had managed to take her out in a single hit and he wasn't sure he wanted to try and raise something like that. Not knowing anything about this pokemon meant he didn't know if it really had any potential or if this was the peak of its power. Snorunt appeared to pick up on his words and thoughts, tears starting to gather in her eyes. "And its a cry baby too." Crenu took the cigarette from his mouth and flicked it into some rocks, looking down at the shaking pokemon and sighing as he stood up. "Still, I do like ice types and you're my first one...I'll think about it." Snorunt looked delighted when the blond boy decided not to let her go, thou he didn't say he'd keep her either. Still, she wasn't 100% sure that she could trust him yet, or his friend. She stopped crying, but hobbled away deciding to keep a few feet of distance between her and the two trainers. "Does that pokedex say what she can do?" Crenu asked, starting to think that getting one for himself wouldn't be a bad investment. Back in Johto he never really needed one, having spent most of his free time reading about the pokemon there and in the near by region of Kanto while he was growing up. But in these other regions he was clueless, though in truth he didn't plan on spending much more time in Hoenn. Still, with the Sinnoh borders open trainers with pokemon native to that region were sure to come over to the other regions, and he was fortunate to have avoided running into Hoenn pokemon back when he was in Johto. Not to mention that pokemon were starting to learn dormant moves as a result of, as Professor Rowan put it, energy from Sinnoh crossing over or some bull like that. Perhaps getting an updated dex with that sort of information in it was something he'd look into. Though he didn't personally know any of the pokemon professors from which he could get one.

When Aidan's pokemon finished up there meal he pulled them all back into their respective pokeballs. Still sitting on his box he frowned slightly not knowing what to do exactly. He never used to have free time and now that was all that he had. Maybe he could go out and look for a pokemon battle? He wasn't sure if he could use Duskull yet since he was so young, that and he didn't know any of the moves the ghost type could use. Maybe he could go find Alice? She seemed to know a lot about pokemon, she probably knew at least one of the Duskulls moves. His one track mind made up Aidan decided to go look to see where the girl was. He was pretty sure she had wondered off outside somewhere.
Heading out of the hotel Aidan hit the streets of Hearthome City. Like always the streets were crowded and Aidan had no idea where he was going. He did his best to keep his eye out for a redheaded girl in a sun hat. As polite as always Aidan apologized to everyone he bumped into in town. He hated big towns, there was so many people and so many things going on it was just to much for the small town boy. It also didn't help that he always felt like someone was watching him, it made him extra conscious of his actions. It was a great relief when he spotted Alice's large sun hat near the pokemon center. Heading over he watched the end of her battle against some strange kid who was moving his hands in a strange way. A bit confused over the boys actions he just stood there giving him a strange look.

A devious little grin contorted Annie's red lips. The woman didn't wear lipstick, that stuff was just plain odd, though some lip-gloss did help bring out that natural lovely shade of pink and red. And some shine didn't hurt either. She'd finally found someone interesting to play with for the moment.
She left the restaurant, after paying and leaving a rather hefty tip for the girl, who wasn't quite sure if that tip was really worth the whole ordeal. It was better than your average fifteen percent cut though and far more generous. She shrugged, wiping down the table, glad to be gone of the horrid woman.
Annie stood under Jun's umbrella, more out of courtesy than of necessity. The puddles underfoot were a bit of a pain to maneuver around while staying under and an umbrella that she herself wasn't holding. Though of course, no one could tell that it bothered her the least. "Velistone," she replied easily. She had become quite the master at the whole art of lying.
Even so, Jun had no time to refute her lie had he somehow magically caught on. The two walked past a pair of girls who were walking slower than a Slakoath. Apparently this pissed off one of the two girls. She was used to meandering around at her own leisurely pace. "Don't you cut in front of me you diva!" the first girl cried throwing out a Pokeball, an unimpressive Croagunk bursting forth. The second girl, rather reluctant to battle released a Cacturne.
"Looks like we'll have to clean up the trash here," Annie sighed. Neither of them looked very promising. "Yena!" she stated simply before throwing forth her own Pokeball, a snarling Mightyena materializing from the red light. Yena had been her first Pokemon ever; they'd make quick work of these chumps in no time. "I'm going to assume you're going to help me?" Annie asked, "Or will I have to demolish them by myself?"

Kilik winced. "Get out of the way!" he barked, but he knew it was useless. He glanced up at the sky. The sunlight was strong, but he could feel it fading, and fast. Those clouds were getting closer and closer. He could hear the thunder rumbling loudly. We better wrap this up quick! he thought. "Okay, Flareon! Use Dig one more time!" Kilik swept the air with his arm.
The fox felt pain course quickly through his body as he got out from beneath the horse's weight. Man, did that hurt. Shaking slightly (the move had to have been a Critical Hit...), Flareon began to paw lightly at the ground before crashing through the dirt to dig deep beneath the surface. Once more, he would have to wait for the right time to come up and blast that Rapidash away!
=*=
"Ahahaha!" Wattson laughed, clapping his hands animatedly, "What a good show! Lassie, you sure know how to bring out the youngin' in an old heart!" He slapped his knee. "M.A., huh? I'll be sure to rememba that one! Now, Manectric! Hit him with a Thunderbolt, now that ya've got the uppa hand!" The Gym Leader held his hand out.
Nodding, the canine smirked. Now that the opponent had been paralyzed, he was going to be a little bit more difficult to catch! But what was that last move...? He'd never felt his entire face emit energy like that before. Regardless, Manectric stiffed up and began to crackle with electricity. A blast of lightning went out, aimed right for Daemyn!

"Nice one Apollo!" Mitsu cheered. That was a good shot, and by the looks of it a powerful one too. Another Dig Mitsu thought, not surprised at all. "Apollo get read to use Quick Attack to dodge Flareon!" Mitsu shouted. Mitsu watched the earth careful as Apollo pranced around not wanting to be hit by an attack like that again. A slightly rumbling caught Mitsu's attention on Apollo's left flank. "Now Apollo!" Mitsu shouted, "Quick Attack!" The Rapidash quickly fled to the side, the previous Agility aiding him in his speedy escape.
Mitsu smiled, glad at the nice dodge they'd manage to come up with. raising a hand to wipe her brow, she noticed the heat has let up. She could feel the weather around her change, as the beating sun soon retreated behind some ominous clouds. She hadn't even noticed them up until then. Apollo's Sunny Day was strong, but even that didn't last forever. The dark, thunderous clouds shrinking the weather altering attack quickly, ever so quickly.
And in the blink of an eye the clouds began a horrendous down pour. "Gah!" Mitsu cried scrambling to pull out Apollo's Pokeball. "Hope you don't mind!" While, yes, they were in the middle of a battle she didn't want Apollo to be hit by the rain. It was pretty heavy for something that just started. Apollo neighed as the red beam captured him, recalling him back into the red and white sphere. Mitsu made a sall dash to the Pokemon Center, just managing to get under the roof's eves. "C'mon Kilik!" she called out, not sure if he needed help or not.

As Flareon burst out of the ground, Kilik immediately recalled him. "Agreed. It's no big deal!" he said, beginning to limp towards the door. The rain was coming down so hard that it stung against his skin. He, fruitlessly, put his arms over his head in an attempt to keep dry. Suddenly, the boy found himself breathless. If he wanted to scream, it was a feat that would be impossible. Kilik stumbled, placing a hand on the wall of the Center, his entire body shaking. With blurred vision, worsened by the rain, he made out a figure of a large man beside him.
He was tall, too, with bulging muscles that fit with the meaty face. He wore a blue tank top and baggy black pants tucked into what looked like combat boots. If Kilik had to guess, he was almost a cut out of Lt. Surge. "You," he growled, the rain pounding down on his head. Locks of his brown hair drooped and stuck to his face. "I saw you on the news. It's your fault that Slateport got blown half to hell! I watched it happen!" Once more, the man slammed a fist into Kilik's ribs.
This time, he managed to scream. Clutching his side, the boy fell into the fresh mud, his eyes wide open. Every part of his body was hurting again. It certainly had been a painful past day. Coughing violently, Kilik didn't even attempt to get up. "I-it wasn't...our fault. G-Giovanni c-came for the..." but he couldn't even finish the sentence. He felt a ball on his belt shake around a bit. And who else but Cable burst out, glaring up at the large man. How dare he hurt Kilik that way! He went in for a Thunderpunch! Thanks to the water, it would hurt that mean man even more!
"Grah! Punk baby!" he barked, easily knocking the Elekid out of the way. "Only a baby would use a Pokemon to fight a man's battle! Get up, kid!" The plug landed a few feet away, and saw the large man deliver a kick to still kneeling Kilik's stomach. Tears, hidden by the rain, ran down Cable's face.
And then it happened.

Cable screamed out in agony as he watched his trainer get hit. His little claws made trenches in the mud as he stood up slowly. He had to protect him! Kilik needed him! But...but that man knocked him away like he was nothing! Electricity showered from his plug, and bolts circulated around his entire body. Elekid grit his teeth tightly as his body shook. The baby took a step forward and his body flashed with a white light that faded almost as quickly as it came. More electricity pulsed around his body. Lightning crackled across the sky, followed by a loud boom of thunder. Sparks flew out from around him and again, his body shimmered with a white light. The only thing on his mind was protecting Kilik! That's all that mattered! He had to cast away this baby mentality and become stronger, for Kilik's sake! His arms became raveled in bolts of electricity, which then began to pulse around his entire body. A bolt of lightning crashed on the ground behind him, accompanied by another white glow. Cable could feel something in his gut. A feeling unlike anything he'd ever felt before. He couldn't even describe it. Was it what Aggron felt before he...? He slammed his eyes shut, screaming out in rage. Thunder boomed a deafening crash in the sky as another bolt of lightning came towards the earth, striking the Elekid. His cries out ceased immediately. A ball of electricity was on the ground where Cable stood previous, bolts flying out every which way. The energy was so intense that a small crater was forming beneath it. The wind howled as it swirled around the ball, small clouds being sucked in. More lightning crashed around the sphere and a few bolts even struck the ball itself, adding to its size. Thunder roared in the sky, but suddenly the rain stopped. The only sounds were the crackling electricity. With a blinding flash, the ball burst open, flooding Lilycove with stray lightning.
A tall, proud Electabuzz now stood in the crater as the rain came crashing back down.
