*heh* Close. I have 60GB of data. Most of that is movie files that can be burned to DVD's once and don't have to be transferred, but the main thing is this:
*points to huge glowing neon sign above head that says "LAZY"* If I could get someone to burrow into my head and computer to find the data I think I need and burn it onto CDs or DVDs for me, I would.

Eclipsed: You could definitely use an upgrade in the RAM department, that's for sure. A gigabyte of RAM is recommended if you're not willing to spend a whole ton and a half of money.
Kimi: *points to huge glowing neon sign above head that says "TECHNICIAN"* I'd go fix your computer and spiffify it for you if I could. I had another 30 GB I could've backed up, but I just deleted that all.

**has the SIMs Unleashed and just figured out how to get pets a couple weeks ago after having the game for almost a year and a half** @.@;; I suck at that game...... XD Oh, and by the way, I'm almost finished with the house. I just need to figure out a color for the windows and then I'll be good. ^^ Well, not completely, since I still want to make a tree for it...... XD

@Alex- Thank you ^^ I told my dad(who does all the computer upgrading in our house and stuff) and he thought I had more than that, thus why he has been ignoring my computer and playing with my sisters @_@ Hopefully photoshop will work, and than maybe the Sims will actually run smoother heart
@Kimi- I know the feeling of not wanting to burn stuff. Though My computer can only hold 17 GB of information >>
SPeaking of which...I only have 900 mb left gonk I really do need to back everything up

Eclipsed: Ask for a bigger hard drive, too. >.o You can get an 80 GB hard drive relatively cheap now-a-days. And yeah, a RAM upgrade is really noticeable. The SIMS 2 barely ran on my computer when I had 256 MB of RAM. Now I have 768 MB of RAM, and it runs much smoother. Though if I wanted to get the full out of SIMS 2, I could use a better Graphics Card and about 1.5 GB of RAM or more total. :3

XD whee building houses is one of my favorite things to do with the sims. when the sims 2 came out, though, i got caught up with building dynasties and legacies xd the people in sims 2 are much more fun to play with. i got all expansion packs too, but i haven't played superstar and makin' magic yet gonk they were released so close to sims 2! i did end up upgrading my ram to about half a gig so i could play sims properly. and when sims 2 came out, i had to upgrade my video card @_@ this darn thing is so addictive.

Unknown Variable Konami: I find the computers that crash with Photoshop are more faulty than the program. I have Photoshop CS2 v9.0 and it's never crashed on me in all the hours I've put into it. *shrug* My computer is pretty decent. I can play a lot of graphic intensive games on it without it shutting down on me. But you're the computer whiz kid, not I.

I find Makin' Magic actually ruins the SIM-World a bit with it's magic all around. It's fun to mess with it's features, but if you actually want to play the game and not cheat at anything, then I recommend you leave Makin' Magic uninstalled. o_o

Nami: Not saying your computer isn't decent. Just that it could probably stand to be a little better to meet today's requirements for many programs. Graphic intensive games wouldn't run if you had an incompatible computer, so it wouldn't really crash it. If you have a game that requires 768 MB of RAM and you only have 256 MB, it'll either not even install, or just not run at all.
Cardi: You should try playing without cheating. It does make it more fun. :P
