He walked in, a slow casual saunter after months of being away. Pausing just inside the entrance, James lit himself up a fresh cigar and looked around as he replaced the lighter in his pocket.
"Huh. Remy sure spruced this place up since the last time I saw it..." Adjusting his duffel bag strap on his shoulder, he circled his way to the bar and got himself a beer, cracked the top and took a long, slow drink. Following that he made his way to one of the booths and tossed the bag on the floor and sat down to enjoy his beer and cigar. It was late, no one was around, and it was quite. The solace was enjoyed for a while, as his cigar smoke hung in the air and he drained the bottle of alcohol.
After some time though, he got up, snatched up his bag once more and stuffed the cigar stub into the beer bottle which he left on the bar counter. Taking a napkin and a pen from the counter top he scribbled a note for Remy. 'I'm back.' It read. With a final glance around, he headed back for the doors and left. He had to resettle into the Nexus and find himself a place to stay for the time being.
It was good to be home.
