Upon finishing his drink, he would stand, the chains making a slight rattle as he took a fully upright standing position. He would walk towards the door and pull it open with one slight muscle reflex within his right arm. After doing this, he would step out into the lit up streets of New York city. The streets were crowded as usual but he had learned a few ways in getting through the crowds without much trouble at all.
When he had made it a block down, he would look up into the sky at the moon which was at its fullest beauty this night. His eyes would glow underneath his sakkat in the dim blue light that the moon let off and with the lights of the buildings around him.
He would merely shake his head as he started walking once more, where he was going, he knew not. He would just simply walk to wherever his feet took him as he had always done in the years past.

Edith revelled in the intoxicating thrill of soaring through the air, free, with the one man she had apparently come to love above all others despite his reputation, despite what others thought of him. In her eyes he was perfect, he was glorious, he was beautiful, he was her Guardian Angel and she hoped to spend the rest of eternity with him. If she was never going to die, at least not from old age or disease, then she would want to spend her expanded life span with him.
As he cradled her with his wings as well as his arms, chest, and the rest of his body, giving her the chills. She had created herself an excuse to warm herself, therefore, she rubbed her body against his as he cradled her, as they kissed. How come this man had not been brought, had not come into her life sooner? Why did people always have to wait for the good things in life?

Tokeru stopped paying attention to flying, letting his instincts take over. While he was not flying quickly, they were slowly and surely moving towards Haven. His great black wings slowly flapping in the breeze as he swept from thermal to thermal. (Hot air currents) He rarely beat his wings now, as the thermals raised them higher and higher.
Tokeru focused all his concentration on not dropping his little temptress, as well as making her feel happy.

Eden had closed her eyes to allow herself to feel even more free, even more at risk. The fact that she had no control over this at all was likley what raised her thrill bar so high. The fact that any one thing could happen and she would not be able to do a damned thing about it. "Heya, Angel," she decided to ask him, her amusement highly evident with her smirk, "how fast can you fly exactly?" Yeah, she was an adrenaline junkie and though she had the foul mouth of only a junkie the only thing she smoked was thrills. Adrenaline rushes were her dope. She was addicted to her dope and her newly found addiction, her Guardian Angel.

Tokeru laughed loudly. "Well it depends. How high can I go? Screw that, lets try it out."
Tokeru pumped his wings, and told Edith to wrap her legs around him and hold on tightly. When he reached the altitude of around 7000 feet, he closed his wings and dropped, diving headfirst towards the ground that was several thousand feet below. Unconsciously, his hands fumbled, trying to hold onto his little temptress, and they ended up on her a**.
After they had reached terminal velocity, he opened his wings, and focused on flying faster. Faster and faster they flew, going well over 200 mph in the air. As he approached withing 500 feet of the ground, he tried to pull up, but with the speed the only thing he succeeded in doing was hurting his wings.
He quickly thought of something as the ground was approaching rapidly, he closed his wings, threw himself around and opened them, bringing them to an almost complete stop.
Panting, Tokeru sought out the closest thermal, as they were now only a few dozen feet from the ground.
As they regained altitude, Tokeru noticed they were only a few hundred yards from haven.

Edith was not afraid for even one moment as they soared upwards then let gravity have it's way with them. Her adrenaline rush kicked in again and she laughed, trembled from laughing, and laughed some more as they fell. No s**t the kid beside her on the plane had been afraid of her, he must have thought she was absolutely bonkers. As she laughed, her legs tightened around his waist, seeming to loosen and tighten as she took in breaths of air.
When he seemed as though he were about to crash, Edith had only smiled, muttering unaudible words of encouragement to him. She was concerned that he had hurt his wings but she would check up on that once they landed safely and got to haven. She had issues with daring people and it always seemed that many of them were unable to turn her small dares down even when half of them were not serious.

As they approached haven, Tokeru half stumbled, half landed on the rooftop. He had hurt a wing, but it would heal quickly, and depending on the extent of the damage, would be fit to fly with within the minute, but for now, Bloody hell it hurt.
He stumbled to the ground, bringing Edith with him, there he lay on top of her, breathing heavily. "Lets...... never....... do......... that........ again........" he gasped. "Man,......i'm outta.......shape."
His arms gave out and he fell completly on her, completly exhausted, he had never flown that quickly before, or for that long, but it was worth it, he had spent more time with his little temptress.

She giggled despite Tokeru's obvious pain and could not help but feel really special. He had flown her, flown with her to haven with his own wings and had even done some stunt that maybe the movie animator people were trying to put onto their screen right now. Too bad they had missed the chance to film it live. "Okay," she said, giving him a kiss before they landed, "we won't do that again. You unfit couch potato." She smiled, letting him take in her unserious comment.
As Tokeru landed on the roof and collapsed it had been her turn to hold onto him, even if she could not fly or anything. However, she did have her enhanced vampiric strength which she had to admit made life easier for her. She caught him, allowing him to lay on top of her for as long as he wanted, well not exactly as long as he wanted, but as long as he needed. Edith would not rush him after he had pushed himself so hard, just to show off for her too.

As Ulrick walked, he began to sense something strange, a presence of something that wasnt exactly human like all the others that walked around him. He would begin to sense it upon the roof tops although he could not tell if they were close or far away.
Darting into a nearby allyway to avoid being seen, he would begin to climb the side of one of the buildings to the roof in an attempt of finding the energy signitures which he had been sensing.

Tokeru wavered between exhaustion and passing out, finally his energy began to rebuild itself, and the pain in his wing faded. His breathing slowed and he rebuilt his strength. After about 30 seconds, he was strong enough to push himself off of his little temptress, but he didn't feel like it, he was perfectly happy with her holding him. He pretended to stay exhausted, his head resting against her chest.
If anyone would have looked on them right now, it would seem as if Edith was cradling a dead lover, but Tokeru was not dead, just pretending to be passed out.

Edith knew that Tokeru was healing, that he was likely already strong enough to get up again but she allowed him to think that she knew nothing, that she was unaware of his antics. After all, she had fallen for them, fallen for him, and now she had fallen with him. "You doing," she asked, not sounding too greatly concerned, "better, Angel? Need me to kiss you better?"

Tokeru just lay there, smiled up at her. "Perhaps I may need some encouragement, after all, you make a very good resting place."
Tokeru grinned evilly. "unless of course you like me resting my head there."

Keeping an eye out so that none of the mortals below on the streets were watching, he would begin to jump from roof to roof, tracing the energies using his own. Once he was actually in range to see wnything if it was there, he realized that they were farther then he had expected although this was not going to stop him from finding the source of this feeling he felt.
Once he had jumped over atleast seven buildings, he began to feel as though he was getting closer to his goal, he was hoping that maybe they havent felt his own presence as he approached their location. He was trying to be as descrete as possible.

Edith tisked him at his small comment he had tacked on at the end of his first statement. "It's good," she said sarcastically, "to know that someone might buy me for a few buck as a throw pillow." She would have nudged him but she did not wish to agitate him even if he seemed to heal rather fast. "I think I will encourage you so that we might actually make it to see my brother on time, well, there is no time, but still. Now for that encouragement." She placed both of her hands on his cheeks and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips.

Just before Edith kissed him, he smiled, and the pulled her down onto him, kissing her back even more passionatly.
He laughed as she fell without resistance, and then kissed her again, his hands still on her back and his wings folded on the ground underneath him.
Tokeru felt a presence, a dark aura, but didn't say anything, not wanting Edith to do anything and move.
Whoever the hell it is, better not interrupt us, or else they are going to have a third eye, even if I don't have any weapons on me.
