Baizou blushed as Cass recapped his appearance. The last remnants of hair gel were making bits of his hair stick up in odd places. He dropped his ears down, "Right now, though, it still hurts." He murmured, running his fingers over the woodgrain of the bar.

Baizou shrugged, "I am his clone, after all." He murmured, letting his hand drop. That raised a point. Before he came along, Ellie had been smitten with Tomo. Was she really attracted to him? Or was she just settling for him because he happened to look exactly like her previous crush? He pushed the thought away. What a stupid thing to think.

Upstairs, Tomo was whisting to himself, proud after a long day's laundry doing. He paused at Ellie's door with an armful of her and Bai's clothing. He heard a few sobbing sniffles and knocked gently on the door. "Clothing delivery!" He announced as if he hadn't heard anything.

Tomo pushed open the door and set the clothes on the bed beside her. "I'm no expert on girls, but what I can gather from the blotchy face, mussed hair and covers, and the fact that Bai isn't all over you; you've been crying." He said, scratching one of his ears absently. He plopped down on the bed, making her bounce up a bit, and folded one leg over the other, "Care to spill your woes to your ol' buddy, Tomokazu?"

Baizou's lips twitched into a weak smile, "I suppose you are right about that. I never really thought of it that way.." He mused, lifting his head from his knees. She actually got a bit of a chuckle out of him. "Damn those blondes. They win every time." He muttered playfully, clenching his fist.

"Well, I ain't afraid of you." Tomo said, "So, what does that make me? Jeez, El. I had a baby, but that doesn't make me less of a guy." He teased. His face went serious, though. "Poor thing. I suppose it would be a bit tactless to give you a hug, then?" He smirked a little, "Though, maybe I'm thinking you'd rather have one from the Masked Readhead."

((Oh gosh. Crazy huge deja vous...))

Baizou pulled the glass even more out of her reach, "Uh uh. Not with my nephew in there." He said, finishing off the glass. "Ellie barely wants to look at me, let alone feel attracted to me right now."

Baizou stuck his tongue out. "Have a heart. Surely you can wait two months without a drink." He scolded, wrapping his tail around the bottom wrung of the barstool.

"Hmm... Maybe." Tomo murmured, "And don't forget that he went through the exact same thing a few months ago. I got to witness his recovery first-hand." He shuffled his foot. "It was the most terrifying thing I ever had to witness, El." He puffed out his cheeks, "And I hate to lay on the guilt, sweety, but you weren't exactly there for him." He pulled her chin up with his index finger. "Why don't you go find where he's pouting and share your sorrows?"

Tomo paused, flexing his hands a little. "That would fall under Baizou's range of powers." He said, voice very serious, now. "I don't advise it... And... Whether it be Bai's or not, it's still part of you." He said, "But it's up to you, Ellie." And that was all he would say on the matter. She knew what she would have to do.

Baizou laughed a little. "Well, if things with you and Tomo work out... Maybe you two can have a make-up session." He suggested.
