After she found herself a decent tree branch that was low enough to reach, but still high enough to hang from, she decided that instead of getting to work immediately, she was going to be a little bit lazy. Again. She pulled herself up on the branch, but instead of hanging, she crawled all the way up and scooted herself along the branch until she got to the trunk it was connected to. From there, she put her back against itm properly sat herself down, and even let one of her legs dangle. Now this is niiiice... I should do this more often. Kinda comfy tree seat, relaxing nature noises, decent breeze... not too cold, but not hot either. This is very nice. If she wasn't a little nervous about falling out of the tree, she would try to lay her head back and maybe nap for a bit, but closing her eyes was good enough, and Tebiki just sat there, swinging her leg.

Since stree sitting was an nice thing to do, especially since this one was perfect for it, she needed to get a hammock or something and hang it up here. Then she could lay down and her whole body could sway from side to side. It would be pretty awesomeThough, trees were also good for tree houses. She remembered when she was little, wanting a tree house, she would turn it into a no-boys club and she could sit up there all day throwing water balloons at the boys until they climbed up to wrestle with her, and then they'd get in trouble or something. They would later be forced to apologize, and then one othe the moms would have cookies baked or something. The first and last parts were ideal, though the middle chunk was the most realistic bit of it all... assuming her parents would ever build her a tree house. She was too old for that now, though... but, for the heck of it, she might try to make one herself. Use it as a genin hideout once she graduated the academy. That should be her graduation present from herself. And no boys allowed. Especially stupid, angry, blonde boys...

Eventually, thoughts of boyless club houses bored the girl. With a stretch and a yawn, she instead started to hum an old tune, though it was more like a mix of tunes that she didn't know all the way through and just started another when she got stuck on one. Her leg swung in rhythm to whatever it was, and she tapped what might be a beat on her thigh. The young Myaku even started the common head bob seen by hip music lovers. She smiled a little, cracking on eye open and then the other. Still humming the tune that lacked comprehension, she at least stopped the tapping and bobbing... the leg swinging not so much. Once you got the leg going, it didn't want to stop on it's own. This was definately putting her in a better mood, and the mind needed healing just as much as the body did.

Feeling pretty well rested, and a bit restless, as she'd been doing the tree sitting to be lazy rather than to help her health, even if it did provide that benefit, Tebiki started scooting away from the trunk of the tree. A she did, she causally touched the spot her back had occupied for a while, feeling her lingering warmth on the bark. It wouldn't be there for long. Oh well, she could always warm it up again another time. It wasn't like she'd never see the tree again. Though, until she was able to properly recognize things as her clan did, she may very well never see the tree again. Scooting even further, she situated herself to where both legs were now dangling on the same side, and she just stayed there for those last lingering moments enjoying the nice day.

While it seemed to be a waste of energy, the girl lifted her langling legs and placed them back on the brach. She was back in that crouching position she had become so intimately familiar with for the last hour or so. This time, though her hands gripped the branch and she scooted backwards before letting her body drop and attempting to move herself in a swinging motion. It worked on playgrounds, why not here? She almost counted to three before doing so, but figured that saying those numbers outloud would just sound stupid... so she just did it in her head anyway. And up.... and back... and up again... and back. She did her best to keep herself moving without any friction between her hands and the bark. That meant her swings weren't as flexible as they could be, but she needed to build up a callous in order to do better and not hurt herself. Or course... that required her to somewhat hurt herself in the process, didn't it?

While she was getting a bit higher with every swing, she managed to miscalculate how much pressure she needed with her grip and was caught very much off guard when she slipped right off the banch on a backswing. Luckily she managed to land on her feet... before falling yo her hands and knees a second later. Ow... owowow... that kinda hurt... Her hands stung from the light scrateches the bark caused, and her ankled ached from the landing. All in all, it was a very normal reaction, though she would much rather be invincible and get up as soon as toes touched ground.
Shifting her weight, she sat on her side, and rubbed an ankle. She wasn't able to examine the damage to her hands, so she didn't bother trying... she just felt a little roughness when she touched her fingers to a palm. Well, I suppose it could be worse... I could be bleeding, or I could have gotten a sprain. I'd never live it down if I got a sprain, though... would never hear the end of it. Plus I'd be stuck at home for a week or so. That would really suck...

Without grumbling this time, Tebiki got back to her feet and decided to try it one more time. She got on her toes and reached up to feel her fingers against the branch, and when she found it she jumped up and grabbed it with both hands, hanging on for dear life. Sort of. As she hung there, she took one deep breath after another, and by the fifth she started to move her body back and forth again. Not wanting to make the same mistake as before, she kept her grip tight, though less flexible than was preferred, and she let her legs do the rest of the work. once again it was back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth. Over and over and over. Higher and higher and higher, until she was finally getting her body to meet the level of the branch she was on and evn surpass it.
While she managed to do that much, she realized, before she could hurt herself again, that trying to do a flip in the state she was in... with little practice and all that, doing a flip would take a lot more than what she had... so, for once, she let herself go the easy way out and once she got herself decently high and could keep it up, she let go on a forward swing, just like the kids did at the park, and she oriented her body during the fall to land on her feet, properly this time, ending in a crouch. That's good for now.

He made a handseal and remained seated on the ground. He closed his eyes and concentrated on his breathing. After putting himself into a trance-like state, he focused on moving his chakra around his body. First, to his hands and then to his feet.

If he lost his concentration he would need to get himself back into the trance, and that was if he could get himself back into it. He kept his handseal tight and manipulated the chakra around his body again, finding new pathways and familiarizing himself with the old ones. If he kept up on his chakra control he could learn some pretty awesome jutsu. He gave a smirk to himself imagining himself summoning a giant avalanche onto his enemies.

He took a deep breath and attempted to move his chakra, but he heard it again. He opened his eyes as a rabbit sprung from the brush and darted away. Damn rabbit... He wondered if he had scared it or if something else had startled it. It was probably him. Even the slightest movement would be enough to startle the furry creature. He sighed as he re-situated himself, making himself more comfortable.

Nothing happened again. He was stumped. He closed his eyes tighter trying to force the chakra to his hands or feet, but nothing was going on. "Well what the hell...?" He started from the beginning and looked at his hands as he made the handseal and realized he wasn't making an actual seal. He shook his head chuckling at his air-headedness. "Haha, leave it to me to mess that up. What would Nero say about that," he said as he shook out his hands to start over again, this time with a real handseal.

They ran faster than he thought any other animal could, so why did they have to jump at the sight of everything? Well... maybe not as fast as a falcon, but fast enough. Not to mention they could change direction on a dime and lose their predator rather fast. They weren't completely helpless. He sighed and looked at his hands, Focus... you've only just started this training and your mind is already wandering.

He sighed as he released the handseal and sat there. Maybe he needed a break from meditating. It didn't sound right seeing as meditating was already pretty much a break... but it could work, right? He slouched back, letting his back rest against a tree trunk. He took his right hand and ran it through his hair, essentially messing it up to give it a rougher look.

Back on the ground, the girl reached up and gave herself a good long stretch. She even made sure bend from side to side as she did so, before finally relaxing her body again. That was good... tough, but I feel good now that it's done. Though... next thing I do shouldn't be so... inviting for injuries... I should try something, slower... but what? She paced, letting her muscles cool down from the awkard and unsophisticated workout. As she continued to pace, she figured the next thing to do would come to her. It wasn't going to be taijutsu training, though... too bad sleeping couldn't be training. Now that would really be somethingm she could sleep and dream about training, and then by the time she'd woken up she could gain the hours of experience that would have occured during those dreams! It would be even bettwe since dreams tended to happen a lot quicker, though... one flaw... evil wierd things always tended to come up in dreams. She didn't need the knowledge and experience to deal with a flying ramen monster or something.

Something was holding him back from going over that little threshold. He opened his eyes and decided to take in his surroundings. If he couldn't enjoy his chakra, then he may as well enjoy the nature around him. At least the grove was peaceful...
