"Yes, I remember now. However, due to my amnesia I didn't then. I didn't remember the war against Keros nor why I fought it. The truth is I was surprissed I was the one who invaded Keros. That's why it was important you two got married. I saw my loss of my memory a gift. I hated the person I was. I couldn't understand why I would want the war to continue. It didn't make sense. The amnesia was a second chance for me. To start all over. I hope you can forget the brother you had a few months ago. Because I've changed, Roran, and I want this peace to be realised." When saying this, he said the truth. He had changed due to the loss of his memory and he did want peace. Only, his past actions had made sure this wouldn't go easy. He had to end this. That's why it was s important to talk to Rico. To hear if Rico had made other plans or what he truly wanted. Rico had sworn loyalty to Xander and thus had to obey Xander's orders. For all he knew, Rico could be against this order to stop the peace, but was bount with his oath to Xander.

Listening intently, Roran fought to keep the smile that wanted to rise at bay. Still, the corners of his mouth rose as he spoke. "Okay. Though you say it was due to your amnesia? So you remember everything now?" Standing, he walked down to his brother. "As for speaking with Rico, I suppose you could talk to him. I do have one more question for you though." Looking Xander directly in his eyes, he spoke softly, but loud enough for it to spread across the wole room. "Do you know how Rico was able to get away from you to make these plans? He is your aid, afterall, and so I was hoping you'd have some idea as to how he got the time away from looking after you to make the plans. Obviously he couldn't make the plans in your presence, you'd be able to inform someone."

He'd rather didn't answer that question. If he lied, he felt he would betray Rico. If he told the truth, he would prove everything before was one big lie. Then again, how much longer could he keep the truth hidden. "Well, during the war Rico never left my side. We fought along side each other. Even when I thought he left my side, he didn't. Then, I got the letter with the peace threaty. Meaning Keros was no longer our enemy. My men and Rico were, like me, frustrated. I had returned home and gave my men a few days off to cool down. I left Rico in charge. I tried to concince father, but this was useless. So, I send a letter to Rico ordering to retreat to Syra. When they all returned they calmed down a little bit. I had a word with them, trying to convince them the peace was for the best. Though, I don't know if they were convinced. I was still against the peace then. I had still left Rico in charge and told him to let them focus on something else. I myself tried to find out more about this peace threaty. During the peace Rico wasn't always on my side. He was a guard, one respected by my men. I wasn't the first time I left him in charge. Besides, during peace who's he going to protect me from?" Xander stood up, hoping this conversation was over. He had told Roran what he would want him to believe. Even if he didn't believe it, he wuouldn't find out what really happened. Even if he would torture Rico, he would never tell anything about the plans. He wouldn't tell Xander was involved. He would take all the blame. That's why Xander had to talk to Rico before anyone would decided to start asking him questions. "Now I really would like talk to Rico. He's loyal to me, so he'll tell me anything. Then we'll have the answers we're looking for." Hating to act like he wasn't part of it, Xander had to think quick. How to make sure Rico doesn't get the death penalty. I have to come up with something.

Smiling, it made sense now. Xander had left Rico in charge of his army while he came back to talk to their father about the peace treaty. Rico would've had at least two days, most likely more, to plan this whole ordeal. Roran began wondering how Rico would've known about the wedding at that time, but it occured to him that the original plans in the peace treaty spoke of the four marriages. No doubt the letter Xander recieved explained it to. "Okay, you can speak with Rico. He's off in Keros though, and I'm going to be there with you when you talk to him." Roran still wasn't sure if Xander was telling the whole truth. He wasn't going to give Rico any chances with this. If Xander spoke to him, Roran was going to be there too. "We can leave whenever you're ready. I just have to inform a maid to tell whatever royalty is here that they are in charge. Now that Syra and Keros are bound to each other by my marriage with Amaya, any of the princess can rule here too."

"Very well, then let's go." Now talking with Rico isn't going to be easy. If Roran would be there, then they couldn't talk openly. But at least they could talk, so that was positive. He walked towards the door, opened it and looked back, "I'll see you at the gate." When he left one of his men approached him. "My lord, we have to talk." Knowing what this would be about, Xander nodded and gestured the man to walk with him. They walked for a short while and when Xander believed it was save to talk he stopped and turned towards the man. "With Rico caught, he ordered us to await your orders. The men were surprissed by the rather drastic change of plans. They are confused. What are the plans? How do you wish to continue?" "First of all, stop all plans. Nobody continues. I'm going to leave for Keros and talk with Rico. After that, I'll return to talk to you all." The man nodded and left to tell the army. Meanwhile Xander walked to the stables, got on a horse from one of the soldiers and awaited Roran at the gate. "I really should get my own horse."

The strikers and the rest of the Kingdom were begining to become scared and frustrated. Amaya and Dariya still showed no sign of waking up soon, though their faces showed they were in a lot of pain. The strikers were uncomfortable with begin out in the open with their leader down, they really wished he was at lease back in their home. Meanwhile, Kaname and Vince were trying to aid Amaya, who was still unconsious in bed. Though none of it seemed to be working.

Vivian was herself very worried that her sister wasn't waking up, wondering if she should try to heal them. The strikers gave me this ability...Maybe I should somehow give it back? She wondered, heading to Amaya's room where she lay. Knocking on the door hesitantly, she couldn't help but straighten her skirts a little, habit she supposed. "Kaname? It's Vivian, I want to try something to help..." She called through the door, brushing her white hair back.

Roran went and t Syrva, who was rearin to stretch her legs. Meeting Xander at the gate, he nodded to his brother. "No camping. I don't trust Keros's woods at all." Thinking back to where the graves were, that was where Amaya had revealed she had been raped as a child. "I think no one should."

"Princess Vivan. Please don't try to strain yourself. You've already done pleanty to help. The queen just needs rest, I'm sure." Kaname told Vivan as she smiled tiredly and opened the door.

Vivian shook her head, "No...I get a feeling it's more than that, besides if it could help then I should try." She insisted, she wanted to do something useful around her home, in the back of her mind wondering where Hector had gotten off to.

"I'm sure Queen Amaryllis will wake up soon and be just fine. Please your highness. You would not like to see your sister this way." Kaname sighed as she looked at Vivian.

Vivian did not budge, "She hasn't woken up yet, and why wouldn't I? I don't care, I want to try Kaname! The striders haven't moved, is Dariya still asleep too? Both of them, is something going on between them? Why can't I help..." She was getting upset, why wouldn't she let her help?

"They are always in a mental connection. When they're ready, they'll both wake up." Kaname told her. Though she felt horrible about denying her entry to her own sister's room. "You're highness...I apoligize, but since she was young, Queen Amaryllis has given strict orders for only me and Vince to care for her in any state of injury...She doesn't want us to allow anyone else around." Kaname tried to explain to the younger princess.

"Why the hell do I bother...I'm only her sister...Tell her to fix that, because I'm sitting aside whiles she's hurt!" She snapped, turning on her heel, walking quickly down the hall way, grabbing a couple of guards to spar against her. She was pissed and frustrated, wanting to take her anger out constructively. Yet they seemed so easy to beat as she sparred with them...She didn't care that it wasn't fair to snap at Kaname like that, she would have taken the blame for her if only she had let her pass...

Kaname sighed and shut the door, shaking her head as she looked back at her unconsious Queen. "Amaya, why do you do this to them?..." She muttered as she walked away from the door and back over to Amaya to give her some more medicine.
