Kuroshika began to come too, he hadn't really realized it, but he'd drifted off a bit. His mind was cloudy like it was whenever something particularly awkward happened to him, he would drop into a comatose state his mind dissasociating from his body for a short while. It was a condition that he'd picked up in his early years, before coming to the academy. Kuro looked around realizing that it was a slightly different time and situation from when he was last consciously aware of his surroundings. Looking up at the sky he sighed, they had most certainly missed their lessons and he didn't want to venture back out into the forest in the dark so it seemed that he would be striking camp with the females he had just met. He stood up dusting himself off. "Uhhh... uhmmm... Honey...? Is there anything I can do to help in setting things up?" Kuro looked back and forth across the clearing looking for something obvious that he should have picked up on already and began doing. He shifted nervously from foot to foot, he still hadn't made a proper introduction to everyone here so at the moment the only one he really felt comfortable comminunicating with was Honehime.

 Honehime had continued working toward setting up the spot for their campfire, when she heard a voice. Looking up, she was surprised to see that Kuroshika was there. He'd been so quiet, she had thought he had gone back to the Academy already. She thought for a moment, was there something he could do to help get everything ready? Yes, it'd save a little time if he'd pitch in. "If you could find some slightly bigger branches for once the fire takes, that would help." She gestured down to the small pile of twigs and such that she had gathered. It'd be helpful for starting the fire, but once it was actually going, they'd need a larger fuel source. (4355 words + 119 words = 4474 words) Lieselotte saw the armful of foodstuffs that Sakazuki had already found, and suppressed a grimace of frustration. She hadn't found too much, some wild mint, sweetgrass, scallions, and the edible flowers from a few other plants. When the Circe called her gloomy, she sighed, and made a reply. "I'm not gloomy, it's just zat you were already in ze lead, why go even more past me?" She heard a rustle to the side, and turned her head, but couldn't see the cause. Probably just a small animal, maybe a squirrel. Wait, a small animal? Didn't they need some meat to go with the meal? "I won't lose zis time!" (5524 words + 109 words = 5633 words) Mei let out a little, embarrassed laugh when Shuku said she wasn't annoying after all. She had made a friend! She didn't even notice the fact that before that, Shuku must have thought she was annoying. Instead, she only tilted her head to lean into the scratching behind her ear, acting more cat-like than cow-like. Even so, rather than let out a purr, she emitted a quiet moo. Her tail swished happily, moving back and forth behind her. Hearing the others speak, she turned to see that two of the others had vanished, and the other two seemed to be working at creating the fire. Looking back at Shuku, she offered a hand to the Mayonaka. "Should we help, too? Come on, it'll be fun!" (1463 words + 124 words = 1587 words)

"Me? In the lead? I don't quite know what yo-..." The Circe's head jerked towards the source of the noise as she instantly started towards the bush, instantly stuffing whatever snacks she had snagged before into her pockets, ignoring the few that managed to fall to the ground as she dropped to her knees in front of the bush. Several moments later, Sakazuki looked up to see the outline of a form shoot out from the opposite side of the bush. Even in the coming darkness, the witch managed to make out the silhouette before she gave chase.
"A rabbit!"
=======
While the 'moo' had caused a brow to raise, Shuku seemed nonetheless, amused as she withdrew her hand once the girl had turned. "I'm not really one for the outdoors..." She confessed, giving their campsite a rather bewildered look as she then turned her attention towards Mei's extended hand. "But then again, if I want to be part of this group, I should at least pull my weight." Ignoring selfconcious thoughts about 'weight' the illusionist finally extended her hand, taking the cowgirl's.

"Oh, firewood! Gotcha." Kuro nodded turning about and started forward almost knocking into the tree that he'd previously hit, a clumsy ninja what an oddity. Kuro side stepped the tree and pushed forward into the underbrush only to become ensnarled and trip falling flat on his face. A hand raised up with a branch in hand. "I'm ok!" Kuro wriggled out of the underbrush and headed forward into the forest moving from the base of each tree picking up any of the fallen branches. He knew enough not too break the branches from the still living trees. After a few minutes of searching around the campfire site Kuro had collected a good armful of good sized branches. He kept going in ever widening circles until he thought he had collected enough of the dry branches and limbs.

 Honehime watched Kuroshika venture out to gather firewood, then continued working at her task with a single-minded drive and patience that seemed a bit at odds for her relatively low age. Then again, if she was actual able to see visions of the future, to cast her thoughts adrift on the plane astral, she would definitely need strong powers of concentration and willpower. So maybe it wasn't quite so odd to see her become so focused, at least to those who knew her. How different she was, then, from the blushing shy girl who liked watching others do things, rather than join in the fun herself? By this point, she had already managed to remove a large swath of grass from the area in front of her, to a rough diameter of four feet. The ground had the rich, dark look of freshly turned soil, so she began using one of the rocks she had gathered to pound it down, making a slight, yet regular depression in the ground. After that, she could reset the stones into a loose circle as a windbreak for when the fire itself was finally made. (4474 words + 192 words = 4666 words) Lieselotte saw the rabbit appear and dash off quickly, and just as quickly hared after it. Sending a challenging glare to the Circe, she unceremoniously stuffed her own handfuls of herbs and other items into a pouch, before crashing through the brush, chasing headlong after the rabbit. It was a quick little bunny, hopping forward in great bounds, but Lieselotte stayed on it, doing her utmost to run it down. She debated having Elfriede help, but decided against it, this was a contest just between the two of them, between her and Sakazuki. Pushing off against a tree, she redirected her momentum when the rabbit tried to lose her by doubling back. As she turned, she ducked down and grabbed a small stone, grabbing it tightly while waiting for the moment to strike. (5633 words + 134 words = 5767 words) Mei smiled as Shuku extended her hand towards the cheerful cowgirl. Laughing a little, she gripped the older woman's hand snugly, then pulled her forward, to bounce, her chest especially, towards Honehime. Looking down at the Kaguya, she had to bend down even more to see past her chest, before finally spotting the girl clad in the priestess robes, setting up a fire pit. "Hello! Is there something we can do to help? I've done a lot of cooking myself, I made this really yummy white cream sauce a few weeks back, using fresh milk and homemade butter." She looked back towards Shuku, wondering if the Mayonaka knew any good recipes. All the while, she still stayed slightly bent over, creating a dual-pronged deadly attack. From the front, she showed off a dangerous amount of cleavage, and from the back, her lashing tail continued to make her skirt flutter up time and time again, getting closer and closer to showing precisely which day of the week it was. She seemed utterly oblivious to this, of course. (1587 words + 177 words = 1764 words)

Neck and neck with the puppeteer, Sakazuki stormed forward after the long-eared rodent, making a dive for it it... Just as the rabbit doubled back, leaving the Circe to collide with nothing more than soil and slightly damp moss... Not that she cared much. She was still soaked from the milk affair. Rising to her feet, the girl paused only to make sure that she wasn't injured or scratched before she gave chase once more as the rabbit bolted deeper into the underbrush.
========
Dragged along by the cheerful girl, Shuku managed to keep her own slight smile on. Staring at the new girl, she raised a brow briefly, taking in her image before she heard Mei's words. "...And I can do the basic things when it comes to cooking. I even have a few home recipes," she added, pausing only to look around for a moment, as if to see what she had to work with. "But first I'll need ingredients."
But, it was during this brief survey of the area that she caught sight of Mei's ever so seductive skirt. Deciding to at least shield the sight of panties from any other by standard, Shuku used her free hand, attempting to lightly swat at the rim of the clothing whenever it rose to a more... Revealing level.

:: The Drowned King, Cagnazzo :: Cagnazzo, the King of Pirates, a Buccaneer who lived by the might of his crew and of his fists. His weapon of choice was a pair of clawed gauntlets, and his armor had been nicknamed the "impenetrable shell." He reigned for thirty years as a pirate of the high seas until a mutiny robbed him of his glory, condemning him to the Navy of the Land of Water. In Hidden Mist, he was imprisoned and eventually executed by hanging... But his spirit haunted the seas, eventually leading to a destruction of Hidden Wave, and thus the Hidden Mist navy found him again, sighting the deadly torrents which he had chosen to possess, and then with the kages of all five villages, had sealed him... Years passed and the location of the seals was forgotten, the legend of the King of the Seas, Cagnazzo had faded from memories, his terrible deeds and crimes forgotten within ancient lore. His name would likely have been forgotten until the end of time, until one fateful day... It was an ordinary day in the Shinobi Academy. Well, as ordinary as an Academy could be with students flinging ninjutsu at one another. About a week ago, there had been rumors of an exploding toilet, said toilet having exploded off of its pipeline and through the ceiling after being flushed. The entire bathroom had been sealed off after what had been called "The Atomic Flush" As it was both a major incident in the school, and as said incident had occurred in a girl's bathroom, several of the first year boys took it upon themselves to initiate a dare using the classic game of Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, Earth; a variant game of Rock-Paper Scissors which was played to teach the various jutsu weaknesses. The winner would have the 'honor' of being the one to sneak into the girl's bathroom after-hours and initiate an Atomic Flush by flushing every single toilet in the caution-taped girls' bathroom. Several hours passed, many teachers seeming pleased that the boys were finally practicing their jutsu knowledge, and even though the boys continued their game past dinnertime, when lights were out the children were left to their game, the teachers seemingly unworried about it, unknowing of the darker secret behind the childs' game. Finally, a winner was chosen, the others circling around him in excitement as he entered the bathroom, slipping through the caution tape... One, two, three, four! All four remaining toilets flushed and the boys cheered, the lights flickering on to see teachers in calamity, breaking down the door as a massive explosion of water was heard, the weight of water sealing the door shut so that the teachers could not intervene.... And as the water finally settled and was seemingly gone; the boy had vanished, his bloody clothes all that remained of him... The five toilets had actually been acting as a seal of sorts, the first breaking when a girl accidentally tripped getting up and bent in the pipeline. When it flushed the broken seal's energy traveled downwards and the beast within awakened, thus the first explosion. After his awakening he had begun exerting his pressure on the other four seals, waiting for someone to flush the other toilets so that the pressure he was exerting would explode. And when the day finally came, he leaped out from the toilets in a watery wrath, devouring the boy whom had released him in order to again take a physical body. Needless to say he had no intents to remain, plowing through the roof of the building with his armored shell, made of a bony substance as hard as steel. Left behind in the bathroom was the stench of sewage, a bog-like formation being left behind by the water. Immidiately the school was sealed off and teachers were on patrol. As many of these teachers were Jounin ranked, the beast was obviously forced to hide, having been unable to make his escape in time... His luck seemed perfect though, when a Chuunin ranked member came to discover his location, paralyzed in fear at the sight of the sewer beast. Cagnazzo quickly trapped him within a summoned bog, pulling the man underwater so that he could hear the beast speak in its terrible voice, a deep and drenched voice of a beast; "I am the Drowned King, Cagnazzo, risen from the depths of the Sea; for the wicked are not wont to die alone... Feel the briny pits of hell surround you, drink long and deep of it ere' you are to die..." Cagnazzo spoke to the chuunin, who was desperately trying to swim to the surface without success as the aquatic beast took hold of his leg and pulled him back towards him. The shinobi's lungs were now burning in his chest, desperate for air as he opened his mouth and took in a gasp of water, coughing heavily as the water purged his lungs, causing their burning sensation to intensify further, his mind growing hazy as he slowly slipped into the void before the creature's jaws clamped down over his throat and removed his head. being careful not to destroy the man's clothes, Cagnazzo devoured the rest of his body before scouting his surroundings for a moment. Quickly removing the bog he had summoned, the Drowned King contorted his body and began to shape shift using the art of Henge no Jutsu; transforming into the ninja whom he had killed before donning the man's clothes. Despite their appearance, he could make it work, for the moment, slashing several parts of his body with three kunai to mimic the marks of his own claws, dampening his body further to match the state of the clothes before revealing himself in the school, running around as the teacher, screaming in a panic before one of the other teachers came to console him, quickly pinning him down to calm his screaming and to avoid alarming the students further. As they asked him what was wrong he replied in an exasperated voice; "I found... the beast!!! It called itself Cagnazzo... the Drowned King! It pulled me into a bog but I managed to knock him hard enough to escape his grasp! I nearly drowned from being under there.... We can't face this thing on our own, it's too clever.... Do not worry for my injuries, I will go to Hidden Mist and request their aid!""With those injuries you are in no condition to travel anywhere! I will go instead!" one of the nearby faculty replied to him as he forced himself up onto his feet. "No! I am the one who encountered it, I can best describe its actions and answer any questions they may have about it!!! They can then send the best men possible for its removal... Until then, avoid the south eastern sewer tunnels... That's where I found it the first time. I'm pretty sure it may move its lair so perhaps it would be best to avoid the sewers in general..."Talking amonst themselves a moment longer, the others agreed and Cagnazzo smiled inside, having been able to steal the man's appearance and voice was a simple enough task and would make his escape from this institution as easy as cake. As the gates opened to him, he took his first steps outside the academy, looked back, and laughed in his own voice again, shifting back into his own body as he glanced towards the faculty of the school; "Thank you for allowing me to leave so peacefully... Take no measures to pursue me, and I, the Drowned King Cagnazzo, will make no attempts to further harm your school... As Im sure you wish no further losses, I am assuming we are in agreement..." The drowned king smirked as he sprinted across the plains outside of the Academy and into the river; making his escape by water as it was his element, the forte by which he made his travel. Cagnazzo was finally free, and while he was still in a weakened state compared to his prior incarnations, he was indeed alive, and having devoured two victims already, he was now again able to access his long forgotten chakra pool. Drained heavily by the amount of energy required to break his seal, Cagnazzo likely would have died had he not found the student to consume, and even then, his recent battle had deprived the archfiend of a majority of his energy. Thankfully the devouring of the chuunin ranked teacher had stabilized his own chakra enough so that he could keep a balanced level of energy. For now, he needed to recover his energy and become stronger again. And once he was again at full strength, he would bring the might of a hurricane down upon Hidden Mist and destroy the village with his power. His yellow, glaring eyes beamed with hunger, his lips curling into a smile as he made his way away from the Academy, taking refuge in a lake which the river had emptied out into. At home in the water more than anywhere else, Cagnazzo knew that he was at the height of his power within here, able to pull enemies down into its depths and drown them, while he himself remained able to breathe within the water; an amphibious monster born of darkness and hatred. Reborn as a Gilman of Hidden Twilight, the deposed and drowned King would again rise to power and exert his wrath upon those whom had killed him. And after Hidden Mist was destroyed, he would bring his wrath down upon the other four villages, as their Kages had been the ones to seal him after his rise in undeath. With the fire pit just about fully prepared, Honehime was ready to go to the next stage of the preparations. Brushing some loose dirt off her hands, she began carefully setting some torn grass into a shallow pile in the center of the pit, with some of the smallest twigs she had already gathered on top. She pulled out a book of matches but didn't light any yet, wanting to wait a little bit longer before actually starting the fire. It wasn't dark yet, and there wasn't any food or water to start heating up just yet. She moved back, moving to a kneeling position as she tried to think of what sorts of herbs and such might be growing in the area, and what sorts of options that would give them. She wasn't the best cook, so hopefully someone else could take over the actual culinary part of the chores. She looked up, and very nearly fell over, being presented with a very up close and personal view of the cowgirl's cleavage. She blinked in surprise, and looked up, and up, and up, until she was finally looking the animalistic girl in the face. "I'll just bet you have... Well, if the two of you can handle cooking, that will be fine." (4666 words + 213 words = 4879 words) Lieselotte dashed forward after the rabbit, smirking for a brief instant when she saw Sakazuki's flying attack go awry. She rushed forward, trying to stick to a steady rhythm, so she could manage to aim her stone well enough to hit it's mark. She had to wait for just the right moment, she'd only get one chance. If they didn't catch the rabbit soon, it'd likely get to it's hutch, and escape. She crashed through the brush the rabbit had dove into, and then spotted it. It was scampering off only a few yards ahead of her. She knew now was the time. Moving her hand back, she whipped the stone forward, with luck it'd hit the rabbit cleanly, to make it quick. (5767 words + 123 words = 5890 words) Mei grinned and nodded vigorously when Honehime said that she and Shuku could handle the cooking. Of course, when she nodded her head, it sent very... distracting... motions throughout her chest. Standing upright abruptly, she made to turn to look at Shuku when several things happened all at once. First, her sudden change in posture combined with the movement that was still affecting her bust combined to make her chest knock against Honehime and nearly swallow her head much like what had happened to Sakazuki before. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, it didn't actually go to quite that extent this time. The second thing that happened occurred when Mei looked behind her to look at Shuku. She saw Shuku reaching down, and directed her gaze down to see what Shuku was doing. From that angle, it looked like Shuku was trying to lift up her skirt. Blushing furiously, she froze, with the exception of her chest. "Oh my, what are you...?" She had no idea Shuku was both interested in her like that, and so aggressive about it as well. Sakazuki had caught up with Lieselotte just as the puppeteer had let her stony projectile fly, where it cleanly hit the rodent either on the head, spine or neck; it was getting too dark for the Circe to give a clear answer of the impact, not that it really mattered as upon impact, the rabbit dropped, mid-leap, stumbling on the ground shortly before it stopped all movement all together. For a moment, even the witch stood quietly in place, gazing in the direction of the rabbit.
It was then, that the forest seemed a whole lot silenter all of a sudden.

"Oh my, what are you...?"
Until she heard the question, Shuku had failed to take notice that the girl had stopped talking to Honehime. As her head jerked upwards to meet the cowgirl's eyes, the Mayonaka froze like a deer in headlights as she returned Mei's gaze. "It's not what it looks like!" She shrieked suddenly in response as she pulled her hand back, setting the 'skirt-touching-hand' to her bosom, her hand curling into a slight fist.

“Alright Alright Alright, listen up kid, First lesson of the day is the Henge no Jutsu or transformation. It’s a simple technique that all of you should be able to pull off no problem!” the instructor barked out all the ins and outs of transformation and even demonstrated using the 3rd hokage as an example. “Ok first up is…” as the instructor looked down on the list he let out a sigh, “first up” he continued, “is Nara Ryuji” Ryuji was sitting in the back of the class looking pissed off. “Well Nara… come down and get started” the instructor barker his orders in an annoyed tone. “Hey listen up teach... I don’t give 2 damns about this “Henge no jutsu”.. Its no challenge I can pull this off sleep man..” ryuji shouted in a arrogant voice. “listen up you little brat, if its so easy then come down here and pull it off in front of the whole class, everybody’s waiting .. all eyes on “King Ryuji” the instructor grinned with Sarcasm He was pretty sure that ryuji was going to fail, and that he was all talk. Little did he know that Ryuji studied the technique a week earlier and was leaps ahead of the class, even though he was an loud mouth know-it-all he still gave everything he did his all. As he stood in front of the class he put his hands together and focused. “Transform” he said with a strict voice. “How’s this for a transformation” Ryuji said with a calm face. He had made a perfect transformation into the 4th Hokage. The Instructor sat down and bit his lip. “Pass” he said in a disappointed face, as if he wanted ryuji to try and fail a couple of times. “Yeah yeah yeah..” ryuji mocked at the teacher. “Next” he yelled in excitement.

 Honehime had just turned back to check on her fire pit, to see if she could set up the tinder grass in a better position, when she was suddenly struck. Her head whipped up just in time to be swallowed up in Mei's colossal cleavage, rendering her vision null and void. Feeling warm and soft flesh pressing snugly yet insistently against her head from all sides, she froze up, not knowing what to do. Should she try to pull out, or just wait for the cowgirl to notice and move away herself? Her hand opened and closed futilely, her voyeuristic tendencies warring with her desire to actually do something to pull herself out of this situation. Already, she could feel her cheeks warming up. Whether from embarrassment, or just from being trapped within a warm prison of bust, she wasn't sure. And then it was gone. She sucked in a large lungful of cool air as Mei finished standing up, freeing her accidental prisoner. Her cheeks were tinged pink, and she looked up at the cowgirl in amazement. She'd realized the girl was busty to a phenomenal level, but it took a first-hand viewpoint like that to really drive the point home. (4879 words + 204 words = 5083 words) Lieselotte looked at the fallen rodent, it didn't move. She felt a small bit of remorse over what she'd done, but she didn't let it stop her from doing what needed to be done. If she felt too bad about what she'd done that she couldn't finish the job, then the rodent would have suffered in vain. It deserved more than that, at the least. She'd treat it with respect, and give it it's place in the grand wheel of life. Moving forward, she pulled out her knife, to make sure the rodent wouldn't feel any more pain. Murmuring a soft string of words, she spoke them without even realizing it, saying a half-remembered prayer for the fallen. (5890 words + 119 words = 6009 words) Mei's eyes widened a little at Shuku's vehement reaction. How curious. Most people, when caught doing something perverted like that, wouldn't react quite so extremely. Had she misunderstood, had Shuku been trying to flip up her skirt for a completely innocent reason? She couldn't think of what such a reason might be, but perhaps there was one. She'd give Shuku the benefit of the doubt, at least for now. If the Mayonaka were to do something perverted in the near future, however, it would likely affix the concept of her as a deviant in Mei's mind for quite a long time. Shrugging, she just flashed a hesitant smile at Shuku. "Well, if you say so..." Then, she turned back to Honehime. Upon seeing the Kaguya in the midst of recovering, she realized what that odd thing she'd felt hit her chest for a moment must have been. "I'm sorry, are you okay, you aren't hurt or anything, are you?" (1943 words + 159 words = 2102 words)

Whispering her own prayer in another tongue, Sakazuki stared at the unmoving beast, giving a silent nod towards the drawing of Lieselotte's blade. Even if they argued, and fought several moments ago, the slaying of a beast, even one so small as a rabbit, deserved some silence. As the knife neared the rabbit, the Circe dared not look away as she let out the faintest of sighs before she set a hand on the puppeteer's shoulder.
"Do it."
==========
Thank god the girl was of the ditzy type...It saved the Mayonaka from any physical punishment as she let out a mild sigh of relief. A soft, yet chilling breeze soon came forth, as if heralding night's approach, then reminding Shuku that her clothes were moist, causing the white-haired form to shiver faintly as a chill went through her. "...Perhaps I should her started on a fire. I have a box of matches somewhere, I think," she said, as if to get away from Mei to escape any further embarrassment as she stalked past the pair, bending over to pick up any small twigs, due to incidents earlier, there were quite a few of them, that she happened to pass along the way before setting them down in Honehime's arranged fire pit. While or course, they would need some real blocks of wood later, for now, the small sticks surrounding the area would suffice.
Reaching into the small bag at her side, Shuku produced a thin box of matches which she had sometimes used in her trip to light a lantern when it got dark. Lighting a match seconds later, the white haired form set the little burning stick against the twigs.

As Ryuji Yelled Next in excitement the rest of the class booed him from in front of the class, the girls snickered; “he’s so annoying, or he’s a show off!” while the guys were sitting back thinking of ways to out do him. “Man I don’t need this bull…” Ryuji said under his breath. All he really wanted was to be admired by his classmates and co-workers. The way Ryuji presented himself he seemed like the type of guy that would brag, boast and try make other feel bad, but in reality he is one of the smartest, honest people you would meet. 2 hours have passed since the test with the transformations and 60% of the class passed everybody else was sent home. “Next we will be learning the Art of Substitution, and this is a little harder than simple transformations,… because if you mess this jutsu up, it could mean your life in battle” the instructor growled. “WHAaa!!?!” the students questions with worried faces. “killed in battle, what!! DEATH!?!” the student contined. Ryuji smirked, he figured any jutsu that would result on death if failed would be a very good jutsu used for stragity. “im ready for whatever you got Teach.” The teacher filled in the class on the in’s and out of this jutsu, and as soon as he finished Kakashi walked through the door. “today kakashi will be helping me out with the demonstration of substitution.” The instructior mentioned then all of a sudden he draws a kunai and charges kakashi at full speed. The class looks in horror as Kakashi is stabbed right in the stomach. Ryuji jumps outta his seat and shouts, “What the heck are you doing!?” all of a sudden a huge cloud of smoke puffed and kakashi was behind the instructor and had a knife to the back of his head. Turns out the just stabbed a log. “why are you so excited ryuji, didn’t he just tell you I was helping out with the demonstration and, besides do you really think I would get hit by should a slow attack” explained kakashi. “haha slow kakashi I though I almost had ya” laughed the instructor After about 2 days Ryuji finally mastered the Substitution Jutsu. “Alright 2 down … a lot more to go” sighed Ryuji As ryuji went around to the front of the school or weekend practice he was stopped by kakashi. “Yo you got the jutsu down yet Ryuji?” kaksahi questioned. “Yeah took me longer than expected but I got it!” ryuji replied with a huge smile. You see ryuji looked up to kakashi as a role model. “well then since u got that done faster than I expected let me teach you a little sumthin” kakashi remarked.

 Still a bit flustered by what had happened, Honehime didn't reply for a moment, as she waited for her pulse to return to normal, and for her cheeks to return to their proper hue. Then she finally responded, silently shaking her head in a negative motion before actually using words to reply. "No, I am alright. Just surprised, they look even bigger up close. How can you remain upright?" Her blush returned slightly at the forwardness of her question, so she studiously looked away, trying to find something else to look at, and maybe take her mind off of the images continually cycling through her mind. It wasn't easy, but she eventually settled on watching Shuku bring a match to the small tinder pile she'd started, making the beginning of a fine fire. She thanked the Mayonaka, and slowly began feeding more twigs into the flame, to feed it and get it to grow. (5083 words + 155 words = 5238 words) Lieselotte nodded at the Circe's words. Swallowing the lump that rose in her stomach, she bent to the task at hand. The two had been fierce rivals up until now, but now, with what was set before them, that just seemed petty. Lieselotte could feel her irritation with Sakazuki vanish like mist on a hot morning, sent away in the seriousness of their task. And then it was done. She moved back, her eyes heavy-lidded as she thought a final farewell to the rabbit that would keep their group fed. It wasn't a glorious fate, but it was likely a cleaner one than what might have happened to it in the wilderness. A small mercy. Looking up to Sakazuki, she wiped her blade clean in the grass. "Shall we return to ze camp?" (6009 words + 134 words = 6143 words) Mei sighed with relief when Honehime said she was not injured, and giggled a little when asked how she could remain standing. Yes, they were kind of heavy, and she did get the occasional back and neck ache, but compared to when she was in dire need of a milking, it wasn't very bad at all. She'd lived with it for long enough that she had just gotten used to it, that was all. When she saw Shuku move to work on the fire, her brain finally caught up to the situation, just a little too late. She could have helped! She was from Hidden Alchemy, changing and transmuting things was supposed to be her specialty! Then again, it's not like she was really experienced, so maybe it's better that she didn't test herself with something as dangerous as fire. But at the very least, perhaps she could help with the wood situation? She crouched down and picked up a spare twig that the others hadn't noticed, before using it to draw a simple circle in the dirt. Leaving the twig in the center, she touched a finger to the circle, which then began to glow. As the light suffused the twig, the twig grew, and flourished, until it was a sturdy branch of deadwood, fed by the nutrients in the soil, as if it were still attached to a tree. Picking up the newly created branch, she offered it to the Kaguya and Mayonaka. "Is this good? I can make more if we need." (2102 words + 255 words = 2357 words)

Seeing as Lieselotte had been the one to spill blood, Sakazuki had taken it upon herself to be the one to take care of the body as she gripped the fallen rodent by it's hind legs, lifting it from the earth as she dangled it before her, emotionless eyes staring at it before she lowered it to her side. It was now that the witch had begun treating the rabbit less like a fallen pet and more like dinner as she turned away.
"Let us go," She muttered, giving a nod towards the marionette-wielder's question as she turned away for a moment, before sighing. "...Do you remember the way back?"
Even if she was aware that they weren't very far from their comrades, the chasing of the rabbit had lead them away from the simple underbrush and further into the start of the more heavily wooded areas.

Shuku gave a smile towards the Kaguya's grateful words before she looked back to the fire. For several seconds then, her attention was focused on the radiant flame, but the crackling of some energy or foreign technique behind her caused her to whirl about, a mix of surprise and cautiousness on her face. While she expected some miniature explosion or something along those lines, the Mayonaka instead, found herself staring at a rather large piece of wood... But that definitely wasn't there before, right? She certainly would've noticed such a large branch when she was collecting twigs.
"...Where did that come from?"
The question came out, apparently before Mei had finished speaking as she blinked.
"You made it?!"
