Kang eyed the cup and muffin. They were in a public place, so it had to be safe, he thought. He slowly reached for the cup, his hand trembling as he grasped it lightly. As he picked it up, his hand began to shake more violently, the hot chocolate splashing over the sides. Kang quickly set it down and blew on his hand, a pained expression on his face. O-ow-ow, he sniffled, still not over the tears he had shed previously.

ShtrDrNGry Kimiko giggled softly and nodded in agreement that it was indeed easier to keep track of her siblings, and tilted her head to Aiden again as she looked to him. I bet she just acts the way she does, sneaking tastes of your food and drink choices, because she loves you, Kimiko offered before taking a sip of her hot drink, her eyes sparkling in a smile.

Mi-sook cried out softly, grabbing napkins to clean his hand off with. Oh sweetie, she said, frowning at him. She picked up his cup and blew at the liquid until she could put it to her lips and have it not be too hot. She put the cup up to Kang's lips, gently tilting it to let some of the warm liquid into his mouth.

Kang stuck his tongue into the cup and lapped at the liquid awkwardly considering the angle the cup was in. After a few moments of doing this, and making a mess around his mouth and the front of his clothing, as well as her hand, he pulled away. What-what is it? he asked, looking to her curiously.

Sunray Tristram Aiden thought on that for a moment before shrugging. "Maybe so...but it's hard to see when she just annoys me so..." But remembering back to when she had gotten lost and heartbroken, Aiden couldn't help but soften up. "But I guess if I really get down to it, I'd do anything to keep her happy. It's hard to see her upset..." Kimiko smiled brightly to Aiden, clasping her hands in her lap after resting her mug on the table before her. See? It sounds like you two are pretty good siblings. Maybe I could meet her? She would have offered to introduce Aiden to Jeika, but that definitely wouldn't end well, and she'd save it for later, if the two got a chance to get closer. Which she hoped they would, because he seemed to be a very, very nice boy.

Winter Black "It just looked like you were..." He thought for a moment. "Tense, I suppose. Uneasy." He shook his head. "I guess its because we come from different worlds." He said. "I've always had people around, and people who speak to me... Even when I didn't want it. But I was raised to care about the people I feel are worth caring about. And you, Charlotte, are certainly worth caring about."
"'A different world: Tense and Uneasy.' Sounds a bit like the name of my biography."
she laughed nervously, trying to hide her embarrassment. It was funny how close to the truth he was actually striking at.
"It must have been nice to know other did care though didn't it? Where I...grew up we didn't exactly understand anyone around us. It was all about a mutual respect for a superior and that their orders were you're desires and if you could manage to impress one it was like you would be able to see the world through their eyes for just one brief second. Everything you wanted in a few barks of command and only to reward those that did what they were told with a few kind words."
She seemed to sigh, though it was hard to tell if it was one of beloved wistful thinking or a horrible shudder at going back.
"Care wasn't something big back there. If someone was hurt life continued and that person would have to get over it some other way. Not...not like you though."
She hesitated to say the next sentence.
"You're eyes are full of warmth and care, even after you've been hurt by doing so before."
She fell silent again, trying to make the still obvious blush creep down. Why was she so unused to anyone paying attention to her? Damn that pair back at home.

Aiden raised a brow, going back into silly brother mode. "Meet her? Well, sure, I could take you over to the manor if you like. She should be there with her face in a book." He shook his head a little, wishing his sister would get out more often than she did. "She probably needs to friends."

Mi-sook smiled, getting some napkins to wipe off her hand, his mouth, and the front of him. It's called hot chocolate! she said, breaking off a piece of his muffin, showing it to him. This is a muffin, it is also chocolate. I love chocolate! she exclaimed happily as she put it up to his mouth.

The boy examined the muffin piece she held, sniffing it to see if it smelled odd, before cautiously licking at it. Kang looked to her, confused. I-I-I eat it? he asked, his hands fidgiting with the fabric that covered his thighs. Is it go-good-good?

Yes, eat it! Mi-sook said, pushing it past his lips. It is very good, in my opinion, she said before tearing another piece off of hers, putting it in her mouth to chew.

Kang held the piece of muffin in his mouth for a moment, moving it around with his tongue before beginning to chew it slowly. He whimpered lowly, closing his eyes tightly as he swallowed. It hurts, he sniffled.

Mi-sook pouted softly, leaning forward to kiss his cold flesh, right on the jaw, using her slightly strange magic to put some life into his tired bones. She looked into his eyes for a brief moment before giggling, offering him his mug of hot chocolate once more, cupping her hands to his to help steady him until he was fully restored.

Rainbow Lime Charlotte was blushing so deeply now she just wished the floor would swallow her up whole before her face burst a blood vessel. She was worth caring about? No one cared about her, no one said she was someone to care about, especially to her directly. It almost felt like he was about to pull out a hidden camera and yell surprise and how they'd just...what was it? 'punk'd' her.

"I'm sorry to hear you had such a hard past. But things don't have to stay that way. You can make them change." He reached over, and put his hand on hers. "If you want to."

The boy held onto the cup tightly, bringing it to his mouth a little steadier this time. He took a breath and exhaled a small sigh before sloppily lapping at the liquid with his tongue. After a few moments, Kang set the cup on the table and looked to her sadly. I am not used to drinking from such a deep dish, he started, looking down. Daddy always had me drink from old pie tins, and those are shallow.

Mi-sook grumbled something below her breath before sighing, bringing Kang to her chest to snuggle him, her hand stroking at his hair. Don't worry, darling, you will get used to drinking from a proper cup, this is what you are supposed to drink from.
