"(Maybe I just don't want to.)" She grumbles to Maddy telepathically. "It's not easy making a mental link with someone you don't know too well.)"
She then looks around the city and at the people going by. She didn't like crowds.

Aram finished stuffing his face with waffles and some of the best rolls he's ever had and went over to Maddy "I'm going to check out this city for a bit and see what they got". He then headed back out to the pool to gather up his friends.

Closing his eyes and tilting his head up to the sky, He took in a good long breath. After standing still for a few moments, he pulled his Bike out of his backpack, pulled it open and took off down the side walk.

After a few blocks he came up on the Lumiose Gym "Electric? You kidding me?!" he griped "I'll be coming back for you" he scowled as he rode on.

"I'm sure you can handle yourself just fine. But I guess he left you with Brick for company as well. Being alone all the time isn't very fun."
Maddy sent Aram a message on her TADS.
Me and Misery are going to explore some stores, if you're looking for us.
She turned her attention back to Misery.
"I was thinking we could just explore the stores. I've never been to Kalos, so I don't know what a place like this has to offer."

"Yeah, this seems to be a much busier region than Hoenn."
She spotted a bakery with a whole bunch of different sweets and treats displayed in the window. It seemed to carry products catering to both humans and Pokemon.
"Some of these foods look weird. A little too sweet for my liking."
She glanced over at Misery.
"You want me to buy you anything? Actually, more important, do you have access to Dark's credit card? Might as well make him pay for everything if he's gonna be a slow a**."

"Really? He doesn't have a credit card?!" She said in awe, staring at the pile of cash the Pokemon had. "It's so much more convenient than carrying all the money around with you."
Suddenly, a guy on roller blades slammed right into them, knocking them off their feet. The guy kept skating down the road, not even shouting back an apology.
"a*****e!" Maddy yelled after him. "Ugh, some people."
She noticed Misery's money floating everywhere and helped gather it up.
"Huh... Is it just me or is there considerably less than before?"

"M-Misery! I don't think he'll be trying to steal again anytime soon!"
Maddy cried out. She was angry at the man too, but she was pretty sure he got the idea. She sent out her Alakazam, Tiresias.
"Stop her, please."
The Alakazam glowed, cancelling out Misery's Psychic attack on the man and allowing him to escape.
"Maybe we should get you a credit card so that won't happen again..."
Maddy picked the large stack of bills up off the ground and went to hand it back to Misery.

Maddy recalled her Alakazam.
"It's like a little piece of plastic that you use to buy things. It's the same thing as the money you have in your hand, but you don't need to count it and it's more convenient to carry around."
She plucked her wallet out of her pocket and opened it, taking out a shiny little slip of plastic. It was blue and and had the Team Aqua symbol on it.
"His may have a different design, but they look like this."
She took out another one that was decorated with all known species of Dragon-type Pokemon.
"I have one for all of Team Aqua's money, and another for my own personal use."

"(Oh... So I can buy things with this paper?)" She asked, learning what a credit card is and now understand what Dark was talking about when he would 'buy' things. "("I see, a regulated trade system.)" She nods, thinking she has it all down now. "(Well I have a lot of money,)" She says, reading the amount of the bills, basing it off of the prices in the windows of the stores. "(So what should we do?)"
