"There are multiple myths for how they came to be, none of which relating to a pillar. As for the porn, it's Atius' temple that I served in - remember? Do you expect any less from him?" Mala asked, facepalming at the thought. She was still embarassed that she wasted so much time in her life worshipping a god such as that.

"They're ignoring me," Angel mumbled as she slid onto Riley's lap. "How rude. I feel unloved. Riley, can you hug me?" She looked up at him with lost-puppy eyes, then mumbled, "Oh, and if I cheated on you with a lady-god, would you get mad?"

Mala glanced back over at Angel. "Just for the reccord, the gods aren't the type to hide their power in flowers. Flowers die too quickly." she said, before turning her attention back to Van. "Thanks, but it's still embarassing none the less."

"Nah, they'd probably have something big and fancy to match their egos. And it would probably be hidden away somewhere." Van said leaning his chair back on two legs in thought.

"Probably just a one-time thing." Jez snuggled into Angel as she snuggled into Riley. "And accidental. I know that 'cause I wouldn't cheat on you on purpose. I mean, Jez is yours and mine." She lifted the baby slightly, then resumed snuggling him.

"Actually it wouldn't." Riley said. "If the gods knew what was going on, they'd have probably fixed the problem by now. Additionally, they all want Van sealed up. So no, talking to any god would not only be pointless, but also risky." he told her.
