"I know how!" Kisa cried. "Just let me die!"
In an instant Shane had her flat on her back and he was kneeling over her. "Kisa, god help me, I will beat you senseless unless you stop talking like that," he said. When Kisa tried to push him away he pinned her wrists above her head. "Sorry about this, Hope. I might need to daze her for a minute." He meant that he might need to kiss her, and hoped the other girl got the message.

"I'm gonna have to kiss her," Shane told Hope as Kisa fought against him. "I'm sorry...forgive me..." She had regained her strength and he was having a time and a half fighting her. Shane leaned close to Kisa and kissed her quickly on the lips.
Kisa immediately stopped fighting against him.

Hope put a hand over her mouth and ran from the room.
"Don't go anywhere," Faith told Jake and she went after her sister.

"Jake, come help me out here," Shane said. He had released Kisa but still held her wrists.
Jake figured this was close enough and went to help Shane. He helped Shane restrain Kisa and then brought her into the other room.

Hope ran outside and sat down on the ground to cry.
Faith knelt next to her. She hugged her sister close. "Your boyfriend is a jerk, let's kick his butt later," she said, petting Hope's hair.

"It will make you feel better," Faith said, laughing a bit. She was trying to help Hope feel better.
Hope just continued sobbing into her front.

Faith sighed when her efforts failed. She rubbed Hope's back and waited for her to calm down.

Eventually, Hope quieted down.
"So, do you want to go kill him now?" Faith asked.
Hope shook her head.
"Do you want to go see him?"
Again, a head shake.
"Is there anything you want to do?" Faith sighed.
