Kilik slapped his forehead. Things weren't going to turn out so well. Obviously, Aggron didn't do so hot against Fire-types. Ha. Get it? he thought with a light chuckle. He lifted a hand to his lips. "Wake up!" he barked, "C'mon! Don't just sit there and take it! You're Aggron! Fight it! Wake up! Have a bad dream!" Kilik stepped forward and stumbled a bit. Then again, should his Pokemon lose, it wasn't too much of a loss.
Aggron stirred, but didn't awaken from his slumber. He could feel the hot sun beating down on his body, yet it wasn't quite enough. The beast let out a mighty yawn and turned in his sleep, leaving himself wide open. As bad as a situation this was for him, Kilik knew that it wasn't going to last much longer. Perhaps he could use the sun to his advantage. He hadn't used Flareon in quite sometime. Who knows? He smirked a very small smirk, a sign that he was healing. He just needed to get through the formality of Aggron actually losing. No biggy.
=*=
"Tear it up all you like," Giovanni laughed, "I've got men at my beckon call to repair this place. Now then," he snapped his fingers, "Dragonite, you can take the attack. It won't hurt you in the slightest!" And sure enough, the beast took the attack like a pro. He didn't so much as wince at the attack.
"And now I'll finish this off. Surf, Dragonite!" The Dragon-type bellowed and summoned forth a wall of water from the ground. Even Giovanni wasn't against tearing up his own gymnasium to prove a point. The man shrugged. Easy.
=*=
He let out a low whistle again. Man, that was one impressive ...whatever it was. He'd never seen a move like that before. However, he wasn't going to let it stick around. "Use Thunderbolt to counter it!" the man laughed. Yet his dog wasn't going to be the little pooch this time! His mouth began to crackle with electricity and he moved in time for the incoming attack to collide with his short tail. Manectric delivered his electrified fangs to Daemyn's tail and bit down, hard. Now it would be a test of endurance. Whichever one of the canines could keep their attack up the longest was going to come out on top. Yet, Wattson was feeling rather warm. A Magnemite fluttered down from the rafters with a metal cup attached to his side, which the man took and guzzled down.
"Please, get a glass for our lassie here," he pointed over at M.A., "whose name I still do not now. Unless she told me...and I forgot. What was it?" he blinked at her as another Magnemite brought her a glass of water.

Mitsu grinned, the (small) victory was for the taking. Beggars can't be choosers after all. "All right Apollo! Show `em how its done!" Mitsu shouted, her voiced strained with confidence, "Fire Blast!" The purple haired girl pumped her fist a bit. It, in retrospect, was a shallow win, but it was a building block to learning how to battle with Dante's prized Rapidash.
Apollo neighed, quite delighted with the ability to use such an attack. Dante hadn't called upon it much. Apollo, however, was smart and he knew just the right amount of fire power to unleash. Not too much and not too little. The beating sun felt wonderful and only fueled his flames. The silver horse rose on his two hind legs, drawning in a breath before unleashing it with a mighty stop. A five-tipped, massive blaze flying forth, crashing into Aggron's iron sides.
Mitsu smiled at the attack, Apollo was defiantely strong. "What next Kilik?" she asked, more curious than cocky.

"Yeah, and a good one at that." He said calmly as he saw the Corphish get a solid grip on Riza's Ralts. That thing had taken a solid swift and shook it off without breaking a sweat, that was some shell it was packing. Crenu ad to admit, he was a little jealous of Riza at the moment. She was aiming to get this rugged seafood platter while all he'd gotten was a wimpy little snow cone. But he already had a water type, and where there was one snowy pokemon there would be more hopefully less pathetic ones. But who knows, maybe this was was just tired or already injured, after all Poliwhirl did appear to have had a run in with it earlier and he doubted it was a simple run in between pokemon. Crenu's focused returned to the battle where it seemed that Ralts was still struggling in Corphish's grip until she released a strong looking confusion on the water type, she wasn't going down without a fight. "Good hit. Think she can teleport out of that things grip if it really doesn't let go?" He said, remembering the pokedex entry. Watching the Corphish in action made the text seem all the more likely, and apparently it never released its prey once it had it in its pincers. He continued to watch on, eager to see the outcome of this match and to see Riza succeed in capturing this rugged pokemon. (( tis Le short, Jason isn't feelin it right now -_- ))

Kilik winced and recalled his fallen beast. "Y'know, I've got to hand it to you. I'm having a lot of fun," he laughed, "You put yourself down too much, Mitsu. You're doing fine." He nodded and took up Flareon's ball. I'll have to play this on a very offensive manner. Flareon can take anything Apollo can dish out, but even with the sun shining so brightly... he wiped a bead of sweat off of his forehead, his stronger Fire-type moves aren't going to do jack diddly against him.
"Let's go, Flareon!" he tossed the ball and the fox burst out excitedly. He scampered around, looking up at Kilik. He suddenly knew that his trainer was in pain, so jumping on his shoulder was a no go. Besides, it appeared that he was in the middle of a battle, something he hadn't experienced in quite a long time. He pawed at the ground and looked up at the horse. So, what was next?
"Dig!" he said. He smirked. She can't hit me! And, it'll be a hard hit! I got it! he decided not to show his happiness though. Flareon barked to signal that he understood. The fox jumped up into the air and was surrounded in a flaming orb before he crashed into the earth, Digging to his heart's content. Dirt piled up around the hole on the surface. "Down and down he goes," Kilik chuckled, "Where he'll pop up, nobody knows."

A slight frown appeared on Mitsu's face. She didn't put herself down, it was the truth. She was weaker than them, them being the infamous trio of Mike, Kilik, and Kasiya. But she placed emphasis on 'was.' I'll get stronger, just you guys wait!
But enough of that, there was a battle to be had. "Apollo! Agility! We may not be able to hit him, but we can dodge him. Flareon can only dig so fast," Mitsu commanded. "Be ready to turn on the offensive when you get the chance!" There weren't much moves in hisrepitore to use, but perhaps Fury Attack could work.
Apollo snorted. Fire versus fire was going to be tough, espeically with his limited move pool. The Pokemon ran in a few circles, making sure to keep on his feet. He'd be able to out run the fiery fox, it'd was just the timing of the Digs that was tough to predict. He wouldn't let Mitsu down though, he'd at least get in a few jabs.

You know, I think anyone would be surprised when they become enveloped by a pair of gigantic muscly arms and thrown across the room. Hell, for some of us, it had become a nearly habitual experience. And some of those specific people just happened to be in an...off state of mind, not really enjoying the act of being tossed about and yelled at. "Agh!" Mike screamed as Surge began to scream and yell like some sort of drill sergeant, holding his hands up nearly the entire time he was, for lack of a better term, lectured. It's true, they were different. Surge knew what he signed up for, but Mike didn't. He was lied to, and tricked, used into accomplishing the goals of a madman. But that didn't change the fact that with no small part by him, these things happened. He had a hand in it, whether he liked it or not, and that wasn't going to change. Ever.
Such fond memories...
Mike lowered his guard when the shouting subsided, his basic survival instincts cooling off. Despite this, he couldn't find the courage to look the man in the eye. His shoulders sunk at the realization, well, more so confirmation that the guilt would never go away. Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be that easy. the boy thought with a knowing sigh. He could just imagine Milo's evil smirk as the words traveled through his mind.
Friends forever...
"I will tell you this though. It will get easier with time. It will be easier to deal with, but not anytime soon." The man's voice became less like a shouting military man but more caring and concerned, like a father.
Those words calmed him somewhat. Maybe he wasn't so bad under all that muscle. "I-I hope so..." Mike said weakly, picking himself up the desk. He said nothing to Surge's last remark, knowing that forgiving himself would be almost impossible. Mike turned to Surge and smiled. "Thank you. I'll...try to work on that."
Who ever said we wanted to be forgiven? Milo asked innocently. "You shut up Milo." Mike retorted curtly, keeping his voice down. "I am not in the mood to talk to you." But seriously though, continued the other half. I thought we were proud of all the power we had? I mean, look at all that we did! "Stop it." If we just kept at it a little more... "Be quiet!" We could have sculpted the land how we wished! The world would have eaten from our very hand! "SHUT UP!" Mike screamed, instantly turning to Surge and clasping both hands to his mouth. His eyes grew wide as he saw the Gym Leader stand up, suddenly feeling quite vulnerable compared to the large man. "Y-you weren't...I wasn't...I-I'm not...he was just...!" Mike shouted in nonsensical hysterics. "He's not real, I know he's not! But he just won't stop talking to me! He won't leave me alone! He keeps telling me how proud he is of what I did!" He backed away defensively, feeling the wall behind him for the door. "Stop! Don't look at me like that, like all those people back at Slateport! Like all my friends! I'm not c-crazy, you hear me!? I'M NOT CRAZY!" He grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, fleeing from the room and racing towards the exit of the Gym. He slammed the door shut behind him and held his arms out, as if to keep something from busting out. His chest heaved in and out as the boy hyperventilated, his vision once again beginning to blur. "I hope you're happy Milo!" he screamed, tears running down his face. "I can't even talk to people anymore!" He sank down and hugged his knees, sobbing uncontrollably.

The confusion seemed to stun the Corphish momentarily, and Riza silently thanked Crenu for the help. "Try to teleport out of there, Ralts!" Riza said, now holding up an empty pokeball. She didn't think the crayfish Pokemon was weak enough to be caught yet, and she hoped Ralts could hang on a little longer. The red horns on Ralts' head began to glow and she closed her eyes, removing herself from the Corphish's grip by means of teleportation, appearing on the ground in front of Riza some ten or so feet away from her opponent. "Good job, Ralts, you're doing great," Riza said, looking back to the Corphish again. Beside her, Sneasel was watching the fight intently, very much wanting to get in there and teach that overgrown crab a lesson. She was also worried for Ralts though, but she remained at Riza's side, cheering on her teammate.
The Corphish seemed to be disappointed that it had lost its grip on its prey, but it quickly resumed a battle position, holding up its claw and pointing it at Ralts before it released another bubble attack. Ralts managed to dodge each of these bubbles by means of her teleport, but in the end it appeared to be just a clever cover-up. As Ralts reappeared after dodging the last bubble, suddenly Corphish was right there, swinging its claw in an uppercut fashion and catching the small psychic right on the chin. Ralts was sent flying backwards and she landed on the ground at Riza's feet, clearly fainted.
"Oh no, Ralts!" Riza cried, bending down and gently picking up the psychic from the ground. Ralts cried out weakly, shivering a little, and Riza sighed, looking at the Corphish. It looked quite smug, though didn't feel the need to celebrate its win over the wimpy little white Pokemon. "Okay Sneasel, you're up! And don't let it fool you, that thing is smarter than it looks." Sneasel grinned and nodded before jumping into position in front of Riza, claws at the ready. "Okay Corphish," Riza said solemnly. "Prepare to be captured!"

Finally clambering up, Venerax rolled over on top smiling. "Way to go guys." He said walking over to them giving Calculus a firm rub on the head. Booky flew over and took a perch atop Venerax's head. "What do you guys say to digging into today's bounty? All in favour?"
"Ho-hoot!" Booky chirped in excitedly, the small owl pokemon hopping rythmically from foot to foot.
"Por, por." Calculus seemed to be the rational part of the celebration as it turned its head 180 degrees looking at the beedrill that it had knocked unconscious during the fight.
Looking where Calculus indicated, Venerax blinked. "Oh." He ran his hand through his hair, and then reached down to his belt grabbing one of his pokeballs. "Well, lets hope his temper isn't always as bad as it was today."
With that he tossed the pokeball, the beedrill disappearing in a flash of light. And unsurprisingly after a few shakes the ball dinged of a successful capture.

Crenu was impressed by Ralt's fine teleport while under the stress fo the Vicegrip, she was doing well as was Riza. The Corphish didn't seem to be slowing down however, and was already on the offensive with another bubble attack. Ralts appear to be handling it well with her Teleports, which she appeared to be quite adept at, but the Corphish was ready for a counter attack. The bubbles were just a smoke screen as it got into striking position, getting a solid shot with its pincer on Ralts, taking her out of the battle. Sneasel was up next, and as far as Crenu knew she was Riza's last pokemon. But that was all she needed, Riza pretty much had this one if his calculations were correct. "...clever, that blank expression hides much. It's strong and has hard shell, but it doesn't look all that fast. Sneasel should be able to run circles around it. It'll resist that Ice Punch, dark moves should hit alright though." He wasn't even sure why he was suddenly coaching her, Riza was sure to have known that already. He was getting to into the battle like always, he remembered calling out advice and commands at trainers who were battling on TV when he was younger and even still did it in his head.

The Corphish tilted its head at the sight of Sneasel, clacking its pincers together in a taunting manner. It was almost like the crayfish knew it was do or die, but nevertheless didn't seem to be worried. It quickly raised up its claw and fired a stream of bubbles at Sneasel, apparently aiming to use the same tactic as before. Riza glanced over at Crenu and nodded appreciatively. Now she wouldn't waste a turn trying Sneasel's ice punch on it. "It's doing the same thing as before, Sneasel. Just wait it out and strike with scratch when it gets close."
Sneasel nodded, and drew her arms up in a defensive manner, not even flinching as many of the bubbles brushed up against her and popped, leaving stinging sensations all over her body. Suddenly the Corphish was right there, swinging its claw in an upward manner like before but sneasel saw it coming and ducked accordingly. Her silk scarf began to glow brightly as she lashed out with her claws not once, but four times total. Riza blinked a few times, realizing that Sneasel had learned something new. "That wasn't scratch, that was fury swipes," she said excitedly. "Sneasel, you rock!" she shouted. Sneasel glanced back at her trainer and gave a thumbs up before evading an attempted vice grip from the Corphish. "Now use faint attack," Riza said next.
Sneasel nodded and dashed towards her opponent, disappearing in a swirl of dark energy. She reappeared right behind the crab and smacked it over the top of the head with her fist, causing it to fall to the ground in a dazed heap. "Here we go," Riza mumbled, taking a deep breath as she toss the readied pokeball at the weakened Corphish. The crab was pulled inside in a flash of red light and the sphere clattered to the ground, rolling back and forth almost violently. The light blinked rapidly a few times before the ball became still, a dinging sound resonating out from around it. Riza smiled, and let out a sigh of relief. It hadn't been easy, but she'd done it!

"Allllllllllright everyone! It is now time for us to start the semi finals! I hope you are all ready for some fantastic pokemon training because we are about to see it! In this battle of beauty we have Sam and his Raticate verses Millie and her Bayleef! Lets all see what happens in this battle!"
Wow semi finals already? Geez these contests moved fast although Robin had a feeling it was just someone being lazy. Still she and Luffy couldn't wait to see the battle of appeals in this semi final round.
With both pokemon on the contest field and the timer starting the appeal match was on. Sam's Raticate wasted no time in pulling one of the scariest face Scary Face moves Robin had ever seen. She and the rest of the audience, minus Luffy who didn't have the brain cells to be scared, all shuddered at the sight of it. The Bayleef across from him even took a few steps back making his points go down even farther. Still the grass pokemon wasn't out of the battle yet. Waving its large leaf around like a copter of some sort it released an impressive Poison Powder. It was then that the Raticate did something no one expected it to do. It dashed right into the spore cloud in an impressive if somewhat confusing Quick Attack. Of course the meaning of it soon became clear, when Raticate became poisoned its body started to have an impressive glow on it, since it had a status affect its Guts ability activated. The crowd let out a round of cheers at seeing an ability activated. The poor Bayleef was just somewhat shaken up, it had thought it would be an easy win against a Raticate. It unfortunately wasn't as soon the spunky rat started to roll on the ground its fur igniting in flames. The mouse type pokemon would be using its signature Flame Wheel to finish off the battle. With the Poison Powder igniting to it made a very impressive finishing move. It was clear that Sam and his Raticate would be tough contenders in the finals.
"It looks like Sam and Raticate are moving on! What an impressive display that was!"
In there seats Robin and Luffy were somewhat slack jawed. That had been AMAZING they had never seen anything like it. If they weren't inspired by that then they wouldn't ever be inspired! They couldn't wait for the next round to see who else would make it to the finals.
"All right the last round of the semi finals is here! Nami and her Masqurain verses Sally and her Dewgong! Lets rock!"
Robin didn't know which team to vote for, they were both fantastic looking pokemon. Though she was a bit inclined to vote for the Dewgong, it was just so pretty and cute! Luffy though liked the eyes on the Masqurains wings and found the Dewgong to be boring looking.
Both of the pokemon stared each other down for a second before the clock started. The moment it did though they were both moving. The Dewgong was using its impressive veil of water again to surround itself. Masquerain however was releasing cloud after cloud of bubbles. The pretty orbs floated around the arena reflecting the lights from above. So far the score was tied. It was then though that the Dewgong decided that it would end this match fast, the pretty white pokemon started to glow lifting off of the ground its long body looking pretty with the glow around it. Suddenly it seemed like all the air conditioners were turned on full blast, no it was even colder then that! The bubbles from earlier were freezing left and right crashing down onto the ground. The poor Masquerain was having a hard time staying up in the air as the ends of its wings were freezing. The bug pokemons points were dropping rapidly and it was hard to blame it either, the display of Sheer Colds power was very impressive. It didn't take long for the Masquerain to drop down frozen to the ground and the match ended early.
"OK! Well it looks like it will be Sally and Dewgong verses Sam and Raticate in the final round! Who knows who will win but I am sure we are all dieing to find out!"

Keegan grinned as he watched the Snorlax stagger back from Combusken's fierce hits, and he knew it wouldn't be long now. All the lummox could do for the time being was beat helplessly on his belly, though it wouldn't do a thing for him. Thank goodness for Shiva's Encore, Keegan thought with relief, knowing this would have been much harder, if not impossible had the Snorlax been able to attack them with its strength maximized. "Take out the Mightyena with another Aurora Beam," the redhead then commanded, folding his arms.
Shiva nodded happily and took careful aim, having plenty of time to do so since she'd not been attacked this round, and she let the rainbow-coloured beam fly, after which she let out a happy bark before looking back to Keegan for praise, which he gladly gave. "Excellent, Shiva!" ===== Miharu had politely thanked Morty for her badge and other spoils of the fight, including some money and a Shadow Ball TM, though Miharu didn't know which of her Pokemon could even learn it. Once she left the gym she quickly returned to the Pokemon Center to give her party a well-deserved rest. It was getting to be pretty late now but Miharu was still pretty pumped up from her gym battle. After thanking the nurse for returning her Pokemon, she carefully placed her newly acquired Fog Badge into its case and put away her new TM before she decided to go shopping. Her battles today showed her that some of her Pokemon were a little lacking when it came to versatility with their moves, particularly Starrie and Sparkle for the time being.
By the time she'd reached the mart she'd read up on mostly everyone in her party and knew what she would be looking for. She headed straight to the TM section of the mart and picked up a pale blue disc as well as a golden-yellow one, and she quickly took them to the front counter and paid for them before heading outside again. She released the two recipients of the new moves, and was quick to teach them, both Pokemon seemingly very thankful for their new gifts. "Thunderbolt for Sparkle and Ice Beam for Starrie," Miharu said, now discarding the used discs in a nearby trash can. Once she'd recalled the duo she walked back to the Pokemon Center, where her bike was locked up out front and she unlocked it and climbed up on the seat. "Back to Goldenrod," she sighed, feeling a little disgruntled by all the time she'd wasted in between trips. She should have been heading for Olivine City now, not backtracking. Oh well, at least we'll get a Plain Badge out of all of this nonsense, she thought, pedaling south.

Luffy was a bit disappointed that the cool eye'd pokemon didn't win. He was really cold now to thanks to that white pokemon as well, his fur was thin it wasn't really for keeping him warm! Snuggling closer down into Robins lap he hoped that it would be enough to keep him warm. Robin meanwhile was for one glad she had a jacket, and two she was glad she had picked the winning pokemon, for once.
As the next round was getting ready the lights did heat up the and the arena was back to its normal self in no time, if a little damp, that was quickly drying though. Stepping out onto the field again the announcer grinned widely. "Ok! Its the part you have all been waiting for! The final round! Sam and his Raticate verses Sally and her Dewgong! Who will take the ribbon home? Who's pokemon will reign supreme!"
Both opponents stepped out onto the field each of them looking eager for the upcoming appeals battle. The Raticate stepped out onto the field its fur looking shiny as ever. On the other side the Dewgong moved its long body gracefully onto the field its white fur sparkled with water droplets in it. With both pokemon on the field and ready to start the buzzer sounded and the finals for the contest had begun. The Dewgong started off the battle, its long body glowed blue and a huge wave appeared under him. It was a spectacular looking Surf attack. The attack was headed straight for the Raticate, the normal type pokemon didn't look to worried though. Instead it rolled up into a ball and started to spin again going right for the wave as the flames ignited on it. The Flame Wheel and the Surf attack slammed into each other with a hiss and a bunch of steam filled the arena. Both of the points were going down and stopped about half way when the steam settled down. Both the Raticate and the Dewgong looked tired from the exchange but ready for more. The Dewgong charged forward again this time in a Take Down attack. Its long elegant body was surging forward a determined look on its face. The brave Raticate stood its ground and just when the Dewgong was about to hit the Raticate made its move and stepping forward it slammed its tiny fist into the Dewgongs stomach in an excellent Sucker Punch. The Dewgong seemed to gasp in pain before it fell backwards passed out.
"Wow! It looks like Sam and his Raticate won this battle! What an astonishing move! They took advantage of one of Raticate's new moves and used it to win the Saffron Ribbon!" At the announcement the crowd went wild with excitement. Robin and Luffy jumped up in excitement letting out loud cheers of there own! That had been a stunning victory and it had convinced Robin to call Professor Elm when she could to get her pokedex updated so she didn't get taken by surprise by one of the new moves.

It happened rather quickly, the Sneasel had managed to pull out the win with her superior speed and Riza's guidance. Corphish had attempted to use the same maneuver she'd used on Ralts and it backfired thanks to Sneasel's fast actions and a new move. He was a bit surprised when he heard Riza issue out a Scratch command end ended up with Fury Swipes, a pokemon learning a new move in the heat of battle, especially a good one, was something that could make any trainer smile. He remembered when it happened with hit Hitmonlee, and even more impressive was when Poliwhirl taught himself Brick Break. Sneasel continued her impressive dodging streak and went in for the kill, and though the ball shook wildly Crenu already knew it was over. The battle done, Crenu made his way back over to Riza. "Pulled that capture off without a hitch. Nice job." That Corphish was a strange one, the Hoenn region had some interesting poekmon indeed...which reminded Crenu about the runt of a pokemon he'd captured as well. Crenu spun the ball on his finger before releasing it, the cone thing was now awake but still beat up pretty bad. She sat there panting heavily as she looked around and saw the blond trainer that had been controlling that mean Poliwhirl. She tried to get up to run away, but fell back, it was useless...she'd been captured again. Crenu crouched down to look at the pokemon and blew a cloud of smoke out near it. "So...what are you?" It was a small round black pokemon with stubby digit less hands and feet and little blue eyes. It appeared to wear a yellow and orange cloak with diamond patters on the back that gave her that cone shaped appearance. It sure was strange looking, but not really in a bad way.

"Gas that rodent to oblivion, Koffing! Poison Gas attack!" the grunt shouted, grinning wildly at Shocker. The Koffing puffed out its cheeks and spun around, its eyes closed as a foul, thick green gas seeped from its pores. The poisonous haze quickly filled the small corridor and Shocker began to cough, crouching low to the ground. She could already feel the poison settling into her system, and the sudden awareness of the lack of time she had left hit her harder than any physical attack could. The Raichu got to her feet slowly, gritting her teeth and peering through the smog. She knew she was stronger than that Rocket's Pokemon and that she could take it out with one blast if she tried. The only problem was she couldn't really see it, and the noxious fumes were making her eyes water. The mouse squeezed her eyes shut and let a bolt of electricity fly, but when she heard both the Rocket and Koffing let out a laugh, she knew she'd missed.
She didn't get a chance to dwell on that though, as suddenly the Koffing came speeding through the haze with a Tackle attack. She hadn't seen or even heard it coming and she was knocked back right out of the cloud of Poison Gas and onto her back, where she lay staring up at the ceiling. It was at that moment that she realized escape was impossible - at least right now it was, anyway.
=-=-=-=-= A pained yelp escaped the Mightyena as Shiva's attack scored a direct hit, wisps of coloured light shooting off in all directions. The canine struggled to its feet, ears flattened against its head, but it couldn't remain that way and it toppled over, legs and tail twitching slightly. "Oh, Henry!" the trainer shouted, shoulders slumping. "Damn it, come back." The Mightyena was recalled in a flash of red light, and the trainer glared at the Sealeo and Combusken. "Okay, now I'm getting serious! Let's go Hank, cut these amateurs to ribbons!" This time, a Safari Ball bounced into play, sending its captive onto the field. A tall, menacing Scyther let out an ear-splitting screech, its bladed arms glimmering in the morning sunlight. "Go Hank! Use your Slash attack on that chunky hunk of blubber!" The Scyther let out another screech and dashed forward, preparing to cut the Sealeo down to size.
Jaeshan studied the Mantis Pokemon carefully, knowing that he could easily have Combusken take care of it, but then again Shiva's Ice-type attacks would be effective as well. He grinned then, suddenly having a better idea, though he felt bad for ruining the ground around them. "Combusken, use Rock Slide!" he shouted, knowing that if she timed it right, the attack could strike both the Scyther and Snorlax, though if she was off by even a little bit, Shiva could get caught in the attack as well. Combusken let out a shrill cry and raised her hands up to the sky, stomping the ground as hard as she could. Massive chunks of earth rose up all around her, and she slashed the air in front of her, causing the rocks to fall towards the Scyther and Snorlax at an alarming speed.
