Mephlius followed the scent, ending up right next to Ceon. He used universal hunter hand signals to Ecco, telling her what was going on.

Looking down to her right hand she took off the safety and looked into the eyes of the lycans before her. Never has she talked to anyone out of her race, but I suppose the south is a bit different in their hospitalities. "I'll let you guys call the shots, I'm only kill when contracted," Ecco said under her breath as she took up the rear.

Diego raised an eyebrow looking at her. "I don't exactly know if that's something to be cheery about love." He wrapped his arms around her after sheathing his knife and held her close to him. "But it makes me chuckle quite a bit."

She pouted, "I'm not hearing any of those chuckles." She sighed, "At any rate, it's a good thing because now I won't be so bored when I go for a walk. Besides, it's kinda cool, the feeling I get when I know I'm the enemy, even to my own race."

(Diego, Ligato, my head hurts xp )
Ceon stood out from the shadows, looking Diego in the eyes. "Nothing can be gained from loving a vampire. You will only find pain and loss at the end." Ceon anounced to the couple. A hint of sorrow glowed in his eyes. There were so few lycans in this city because they were in love with vampires. First Pummel, now Diego.

A feeling just hinted to Ecco that this was an old, touchy subject. Seeing as how everyone wasn't jumping onto one another, she stuck her gun back in the holister strapped to her thigh. Another sigh took her as she looked from Ceon to Mephlias with a bit of a question in her eyes of "what next?".

Diego grinned and couldn't help but chuckle. "I know isn't it... Invigorating." He said sending a shiver up his spine remembering the thoughts of being hunted while hunting those that were after him. He smiled darkly wondering if anyone was going to want to try to kill them some time soon.

She looked at Ceon, "My don't you look tasty." She licked her lips and bit her thumb. She turned back to Diego, "I think he thinks I'm going to hurt you." She laughed.

"I'm sure neither of you would dare to hurt each other. But other people would. Jaden would kill you if he found out you two were in love." He looked at the vampire. "I don't even see what the use of being in love with a vampire is."

Diego grinned at the prospect. "I know I was killed once becuase of it. So sue me." He said raising an eyebrow. He growled at the lycan clearly showing his hostility towards him.

Ecco silently rolled her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest. He just said why he doesn't like the two of you being together; you can't mate. Feeling a bit irritated, she looked over the lycan and his vampire wench in question. They didn't seem like the type of people she'd associate with, but then again, Ecco doesn't associate with much of anybody. Clearly being ignored, she stayed quiet in hopes of some information flow.

"There's no point of it. You can't even mate with her." Ceon gripped the pistol with silver nitrate bullets, seeing the hostility in Diego's eyes. He stepped back into a defensive position, waiting to see if he would actually attack him. "I'm not here to kill."

"Can't mate? Surely we can't have children, but who said we couldn't "mate"?" She laughed and looked up at Diego, "Master, please let me kill him, I hunger so for lycan blood."

Diego grinned and then let out a villanous laugh. "I have no problem with it Slave." He said winking at the Lycan. "She's right, besides I hate children unless they're frying over a fire bathed in their mother's blood." He make a smacking sound as though it was delicious and licked his lips. His gaze turned to a female that wasn't too far off and was clearly paying attention. "Why don't you come closer. I might bite though."

Irritation took over. "You can't mate with him. You," Ecco said pointing to the vampire, "have a different genetic make up than him," and she moved her finger to her 'master'.
