I know i'm a bit late on this whole conversation but..
If Brooke wants to raise her child to be one way, let her be. She's her own person and unless any of you are the father, I see no point in you judging her. My mother taught my brother that he had to be a man and take care of his wife. That's not any gender bias. And if she's a homophobe, let her be. She's not hurting you.
You guys think it's ok to like have really strong opinions about other's lives but ya'll are not given the right. Don't fuel the fire.
*blinks* Kei! *hugs*

You don't think your mother controlled your brother? What if he didn't want a wife? What is he was born to be something other than a hard working husband? Raising children like that is a form of gender bias.

If you want to call it that, than let it be. But we need men to work and be good husbands. There are NO men any more that have kind and gentle hearts that are straight. Guess I'm gender bias? But that's a very narrow way of thinking.

We need men to work and be good husbands? Why can't women work and be good wives? Why can't men be good husbands to men and women be good wives to women? What gives you the right to say there aren't any straight men with gentle hearts? You're not looking for a gentle hearted man, you're looking for a man that will support you are you not?

Because there aren't? All they go for are looks because all they want is sex. I'm looking for a kind, gentle hearted man. And if he can support me, even better. But if he's a total a** wipe but has a stable job, why settle down? Your twisting my words. Straight men are most of the time douches. That's my main point.

Not all straight men are that way. A lot of straight men want the same things that you do. They are called the sensitive guys that bitches keep in the friend zone because -gasp- women go for looks too!

Well -gasp- I know all straight men are that way. The sensitive one's wimp out and go for a slut and us good girls are left behind. So say whatever you want, but my mindset isn't changing.
