Well, I used gold and the marketplace to gain the Jack items . . . and that damned event is hard as blazes to get anywhere! Why the hell did they make it so complex???? scream Hits, misses, rage effects, what the hell was wrong with hit- then wait a while and hit again!?!

Yeah, it is a pain. Still, people demand intriate details and more to spice things up. While the water war wasn't nearly as complex, it foretold future detail. Once battle is released (if ever), a shift in focus should occur that will stop these seemingly endless forum events and quests.

I've decided I'm going to give tana my plasma gear for christmas. That way she can have a little raver glow stick.

I actually think the event is oddly fun... but that's just because I have some time to loose. It is all so utterly pointless time wasting... and geez, 250 points for the last item?? I just keep on missing...

The 250 wouldn't be so bad, except that you have to get to it twice. My strategy is doing 10 weak attacks that all hit. Then, I consecutively use all my rage points to augment 10 strong attacks. Usually about 3 of my strong attacks hit, which makes it worth it. 40 points for 20 attack attempts.

I have steered away from the heavy attacks- misses seem such a waste of time, though I have done rage bonused mediums regularly. With only a 20% hitrate (30% for rage), it just seems way too low to bother.
Somebody doubts Tana's gender again! mrgreen *pulls out a bucket of popcorn and a two-liter of Diet Mountain Dew*

In the end, it strong attacks with rage average out for the better. I did do medium attacks for a while, but even with rage, it didn't seem that I was getting the proclaimed "55% chance."
*wonder is Tana should rename his account to something like "I_Am_A_Man" to prevent any further confusion* Oh, popcorn!

Well, I'm almost at a Ghost Cape, and it's only been about 2 days.
I really only want the vampire freddy claws, but I suppose I'll go all the way (once done with the human side), because the bat could spike in value later.
