Greatest free item?

Hrmmm.... whatcha mean by free?

The chainsaw is one of my favorites... though you kind of have to work for it.
I believe I only clicked a button and it gave me slippers? eek sweatdrop Guess that kinda counts as work too...

I mean free as in gold free?

For the chainsaw, I think you have to slay people... or bite'em, I forgot. It's been months ago.

I'm pretty sure I didn't pay a cent for the slippers. It was for some event.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 19, 2008 11:51 pm

Haha... I guess we mis-communicated. I wasn't questioning if the slippers were free. Just asking the definition of what is the definition of "free".

Haha... I guess we mis-communicated. I wasn't questioning if the slippers were free. Just asking the definition of what is the definition of "free".

If you really think about it, nothing in the world is free. In order to access Gaia, I need the Internet. And, in order to access the Internet, I need to fork over some dough.

A common English phrase is, "Time is money." While I sit here in my desk chair, I am "spending" the very few valuable moments that I have on this earth. Instead of wasting my time in this chair in front of my computer, I could be out there working at a job and making money to help pay for my college tuition.

And so, in conclusion, the Kitty Slippers were indeed not free at all. Even though I only had to click on a button to get them, they were not completely void of cost. I had to pay a price to get them. The end.
