Today, Hiyori decided she would browse the shops around town, there was a lot of places to choose from for the holiday's coming, and right now her focus was the spooky fun of Halloween. Strangely enough, she didn't go dressed in her normal outfit, nor did she have her trade-mark kitsune ear head band on. She just looked like a normal kid, browsing through. Probably not quite as bubbly as the normal kids, but still. She could TRY to have some fun for now, she was kind of alone after all, and a lot of people didn't recognize her while she looked completely normal. "...What should I dress up as? ...Hmm...Witches are sooo boring and over done..ghosts are stupid..zomibes are dumber, gosh...Why does this have to be so hard!!! " She really had no idea.


"Maybe this isn't for me after all.." She muttered quietly to herself. Acting so mature was so boring, but it seemed better suited for her these days. It also helped to keep that matureness with where she landed herself for a job. Slacking there could mean a whole lot of trouble. Lucky, no one there would likely recognize her as she was now, aside from the two colored eye's that made her stand out.

Standing at the massive colorful glimmering tree, was the still mysterious young teenager, La'riah. Holding in h her hand appeared to be a ornament, but not just some regular bought one, it was one she had been working on since she heard about the 'Create your own ornament' they had going for the tree. There were already many there, and had she found out about it earlier, it would have likely been done by then! She did feel a little bad it wouldn't be there very long, but at the same time, she was rather proud of her little work of art. She was very crafty, and enjoyed art of just about every kind. There wasn't a whole lot for her to do, she didn't fight, and had no interest in battle at all, though she did practice with healing staves and healed if she was ever needed. Helping others was just another little joy to her life. So, with so little to do, she would spend her time crafting cutesy things. In this case, a ornament for the Christmas tree. What she made was a small sculpting which had both Renais and Rausten on a crest, side by side together, while two very familiar weapons, also sculpted into miniatures kind of stuck out from behind the crest, one being Siegmund and the other, Latona. To the bottom, it would read a simple 'Merry Christmas.'
Her face was beaming with happiness, as she took a step away proudly. It did look cute, and while she didn't want to judge others precious ornaments, she really thought it stood out the most of all of them. Though for anyone else, it would probably be a little difficult to find if they weren't looking for it! There were a lot already on the tree after all.

While Azura stood off to the side, she watched as the city workers worked at taking down the once beautiful Christmas tree.A frown crossed her face as the beauty of the city would now soon...be gone again. She would never understand it, why create such beauty, only to take it down again in such a short amount of time? It was depressing enough that...nothing really happened, nothing she hoped to do happened for the special holiday season. Maybe it was silly to be so down, but she did have her reasons..
But this little sadness of the day was hardly the worst thing to happen today, as a familiar voice rang out in the air, followed by a twisted laugh. As if it was some form of a cartoon, a large cloud appeared above Azura. And, despite moving, or even trying to hide under anything near by, that cloud would remain with her. And soon, the rain came pouring down from the cloud...
Cosmos could be one very cold hearted goddess, and an even worse enemy to have! While this may of been entertaining for others who watched, and..there were a lot of people in the area..All the people Azura would do everything to avoid seeing her sooooooooo hideous form! Today, she would be exposed to the world, or at least, everyone near by in the city she spent so much time in. And the reaction? It was perfect, exactly as she hoped it would be. Azura, trying to hide her face in humiliation, while so many gathered around her, some making cruel comments, others calling her a monster or a freak, one even decided throwing rocks would be fun! Though, there were those who thought she was completely amazing, though they didn't last long, as Cosmos would send them away far into the city else where. She wanted to humiliate her, not make her feel good about herself!


What Cosmos didn't know, or didn't think to try and know, was just how much rage she had hidden deep inside her heart, all her feelings, her fears, were all suddenly out in the open.Her anger increased with each passing second, until it all came to just how much she could handle. Her eyes raised slowly, narrowed so dangerously even the gathered bullies started to back away. She..looked...beyond angry! With her teeth clinched in all out rage, her trident appeared in her hand. Azura's eyes didn't move from where they seemed to be looking, high above a slight distance from where she was on the ground. While she wasn't actually visible to anyone, Azura KNEW where she was, exactly. A little something Cosmos didn't expect. With a even more enraged yell, the humiliated mermaid moved her arm back a little, and launched it forward, sending the trident at amazing speed directly for the unsuspecting goddess, in it's wake, appeared to be two giant waves, all of which contained enough energy behind them to really damage her, but with the added bonus of the trident, as it plunged right INTO Cosmos's body! The impact alone, took her out of her stealthy hide, sending her crashing with deadly force into another building near by. With both the power of the trident and the two waves colliding, the explosion would create an unfortunate event of destruction to the entire building, as well as anything close to it. There could be unwanted casualties, but Azura...didn't think of that part. Her anger clouded all her judgement. The humiliation, it all came down to making Azura look like the villain to some that might not of known what happened...

One thing was for sure, the damage done to Cosmos this time around was something she didn't often experience, if at all. Maybe against other gods, but...a pathetic, emotional mermaid? THIS was humiliating, though as it was, she couldn't seem to move from her spot within the ruble of building...How..did this happen?

".............." She was almost lucky that no one she really knew saw her, almost! But there in the short distance, she would see the one she seemed to run into almost daily lately, the king she so loved to argue with! Well, it seemed this time, despite her terribly embarrassed face, that she might owe him many thanks for his kindness today. With his cape now draped over her lower body, almost instantly a little sense of relief came over her. The redness to her cheeks didn't quite go away, if anything, it only increased a little more.
She was starting to feel a little silly at this point, as her girly dreamy side started to kick in! Why did it only happen with Ephraim these days? Then again, he was really the only one she seemed to run into a lot. Still, she had to shake off those obsurd, silly thoughts. "....I-It seems so..." She managed to say, blushing still. While he carried her in his arms like this, there was no getting her mind off this growing crush she didn't know she had! "...Thank you...." She said softly.. "Can we...go to the church instead? ...I'd like to be where there isn't a lot of people.." And from what she could sense, there wasn't a soul in the church currently. "I just need to get dryer....." She sighed, it didn't matter if someone liked her in this form, she always seemed to be very shy around people while in her mermaid form.
