Seph crumpled the parchment in his fist. "It's the symbol of my parent's Clan. This is the symbol that brought Dracon and I together, made us realize we shared the same parents." He turned to her, fear in his eyes. "They were traitors to their own bloodline, traitors to the clan they served for so long, and had to be treated as such. A few months after I was born, they were found and executed. I was told Dracon and I were seperated to protect our identities, and this can only mean that they've...found me.."
Then something hit him: This arrow didn't dissolve. It didn't melt away into a mist. Come to think of it, neither did that kunai that hit him in the leg. That meant there was someone out in that forest. Something physical, that shot an arrow. That threw a kunai knife. He turned and shot out over the field, but didn't make it three long strides before his leg gave out under him. It didn't hurt, but it just wouldn't respond. He looked at the wound. The training in Ijutsu gave him one resolution: A Paralysis Poison.

"Yeah, where do you think you're going?" Nyl followed him, offering a hand to pull him up. "Either you stay here until you don't have any more holes or you fix the holes, Seph. Besides, if the dojo isn't being attacked, then we should stay here."

"Er.. Yeah, you're right." But he couldn't shake the feeling that he was letting someone go. He stood on his good leg and hopped back to the porch, sitting back down. "Did you know that everything hurts more when you're a kid?" He said, a small grin forming on his face. "Are there any paralysis anti-toxins in the Medwing?"

She sat down next to him again. "I don't know if I remember being a kid all that much..." She grinned. "You happen to have one sitting next to you, actually. Or I could go try to find something."

"Well, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind taking a look at me, Doc?" He smiled at her. It wasn't a goofy, kid smile. Seph seemed to be growing up in his body, without physically growing up.

Nyl made a face at the nickname. "What is that, payback for me calling you thief-sensei?" She shook her head, laughing. "I suppose I deserve it. And no, it isn't too much trouble." She held one hand over his leg, letting her ijutsu heal it and get rid of the paralysis all at once.
When she was done, she stared at her hand, turning it over and back again, studying it.
"Yep. That's me. ...It's good to be me again." Or at least mostly.

He smiled again. "It's good to have you back." He didn't feel the need to examine his leg afterwards. It felt good, and he trusted her. He looked out over the grass, to the one tree in the middle of the field, between the dojo and the forest.
Amazing.. He thought to himself. That despite recent events, I can sit here and smile, and laugh with Nyl..

He slipped back inside and decided to crash on the couch instead. He lay down, hands behind his head, closing his eyes. Am I...? Ah.. no.. no no..

-=The water in the stream next to Fen began to swirl erratically, before an arm emerged, clutching the earth a few meters downstream of her. The arm pulled up Neko, his body and clothes as dry as a bone. His chakra jumped slightly as he drew a few needles from his sleeve, stepping on and snapping a twig as he approached Fenris=-

Fenris heard something snap as her eyes shot open. She didn't move though. She could sense it was Neko. Of course, he would come when no one was around to finish the job. She closed he eyes again, pretending to be asleep as a hand went for a kunai on her belt, out of sight of Neko.

Fenris slowly opened her eyes again, feeling fear come through her again, but knowing it was not normal. She had no fear to die right now, plus, she was too tired to care. She held back his jutsu as she slowly stood up and spread her arms, "Then do so." She had to fear in her eyes as she chucked her kunai to the side. "If you reallly want to kill me Neko, then go ahead and drive your sword into me. Nothing is stopping you now!" She slowly walked closer to him, determination showing in her eyes.

Fenris glared at Neko for pulling her leg like that. She couldn't forgive him for this one, she had no clue what he ment. She lowered her arms and shook her head in dissbelief. "You... did all of that, messed around with my fealings, made me try to kill you... and..." She sat down looked at the ground sadly.< "Thanks... Neko..." She said, not really meaning it.
