Streamjumper Valandra *Nods* Don't get me wrong, I know there are good ones, I'm a Christian myself. But...I see so many hipocrits and "Christians" on a daily basis who believe themselves better then anyone, even their "fellows," simply because of their claimed faith. Claimed through words, not actions. And it makes me sad. 'Probably also why I found it freaking hilarious (and a bit sad too I suppose) and totally understood when the lady at Starbucks asked me if I were Wiccan or Pagan. When I told her what I am, there was a bit of fear/worry in her eyes; she was on the job, and might have just insulted me majorly. It's sad and pathitic what kind of name Christians on a front have given themselves, leaving the few scant few who aren't pompose hipocrits to suffer for it. *blinks, then looks back at what she wrote* Er, sorry. Didn't mean to go off like that. *sheepish* sweatdrop Well, to be honest there's a lot of pagans (including Wiccans) who are pretty petty and hypocritical too... A lot of em seem more in for the fashionable aspects of the religion and not really possessed of much faith... Hell, most of the visible religions are fairly rife with false believers these days. Its kinda sad really that so many cannot hold to the beliefs that they profess or create loopholes for themselves... *nods* I know a few wiccans that are the same.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't have anything majorly important in my gmail account (although I did find one piece of info in there that could lead to RL identity theft if left in there, so I deleted it. I'm in my last year of college and I won't be using FAFSA ever again, so it's not big deal to delete it). I'll keep my gmail account around since I only use it to send unimportant information. Damn. Looks like it's back to yahoo for me. gonk

The Golden Ratio I know a girl (whom I hate with every fiber of my being. surprised ) Who is 'ever so pagan' but hates nature. ... rolleyes Er, not all paganistic religions are nature based. I have known people who strictly follow Olympian, Norse, Egyptian, or other pantheons and are fully devout without any aspect of nature worship involved. If you primarily worship Thoth (egyptian god of knowledge and the written word) you'd feel more in a library than the woods. Its just that many wiccans and new agers have hijacked the older beliefs and glossed them over as being peaceful and nature based.

But she was the type of person who was 'Pagan' to rebel against her Mother. You visit a couple of websites...wear a pentacle...totally bash anybody who believes in Jesus...yet has no clue about the religion you claim to practice.

You'd be amazed at how many "learned" pagans who should damn well know better will call upon two deities inimical to each other in the same ritual...

Dark Portrait Gmail doesn't give out your information; the TOS clearly states it in several places. There is a security flaw that allows people to steal your cookie file that then allows them to pose as the original owner of the account. It's the beta version. Security flaws are some-what expected. Hmm... Well when it comes to e-mail I think I'd choose one that isn't in beta testing.

L0k1 Teh Loki has taken a total Hardcore trip. I havn't been able to listen to anything mellow and like it, in awhile. Fishing has stressed em out. Cure for stress = get uber pissed, listen to pissy music and shoot things. My ultimate cure for stress: Open Media Player, play the following songs: Dream is Over by Yo-King, King no Teema by O.P., King, and Kanriya Naku Sora by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, ten times.
