It comes down to the individuals in the end.What would you say the current cultural idea of love is? The idea that it's alright to go out with someone just because you're getting action? Or as the rhyme goes "******** em and chuck em."

For the most part, that definately appears to be the trend. Added to it is a bit of the entitlement mentality. "I did this, therefore I should get something for it." or simply "I should get this." (because I'm your boyfriend) What about just giving the girl you like a card and chocolate with no strings attached? Just to show, "I'm doing this because I like/love you and I want you to know." (EDIT - and I'm doing it on the day dedicated to Eros love)

2Brolly4 Ichi: I could get a dollar from pretty much all of my teachers, except they never have money when I need it. And no they don't just lie and say they don't. One of my teacher's has asked me for a dollar before. xd Yes, but this is Oklahoma. Our educaiton budget rounds out to roughly $2.50 a year.
