L0k1 Valandra Almost exact same thing that happened to me eek Holy hell! Thats pretty much just a variation of what happened to me last week! Instead of a book, it was a Video Card....and they didn't let me exchange it....even though it was still under warranty. And instead of a highway, it was on a 2 lane road.... What'd you do!!! gonk gonk gonk Oi, who'da thought? Well, she did take it, though like I said, she wasn't happy. When I broke down, or when I almost hit the guy? I was thankfully turning into my neighborhood when the axil decided to break, so I slowly came to a stop about a mile from the school, though right in front of the highway; couldn't get out of the lane though. Scary thing is, the guy said if I had been going freeway speeds, it would of blown the car up; not a few minutes before the turn, I'd been going 70.... Almost walked home, before my mom finally called my cell (it was after midnight, and I'd called four or five times, including leaving a message. She wasn't happy that I'd already started walking xd ) Thankfully they got it fixed by the next day, but it's going to take me a few months to pay my parents back. The almost hit, I sat in the middle lain for a minute, thinking 'what a freaking idiot, what the hell was he thinking?' And looking behind me to see where he was going. Then I just pulled back into the right lane and went to the bank, then home.

Zelyhon Valandra scream People are idiots! scream No question there. Anyways, I hope things stop acting so crappy for you Val. Thanks heart . It got quiet after about five, so I'm happy. It feels like a good evening, and I've got the next three days off for a mini-vacation. And I get to spend my B-day with my family, so all's good. I just cross my fingers that it continues to do so. ^_^

Valandra *Nods* Don't get me wrong, I know there are good ones, I'm a Christian myself. But...I see so many hipocrits and "Christians" on a daily basis who believe themselves better then anyone, even their "fellows," simply because of their claimed faith. Claimed through words, not actions. And it makes me sad. 'Probably also why I found it freaking hilarious (and a bit sad too I suppose) and totally understood when the lady at Starbucks asked me if I were Wiccan or Pagan. When I told her what I am, there was a bit of fear/worry in her eyes; she was on the job, and might have just insulted me majorly. It's sad and pathitic what kind of name Christians on a front have given themselves, leaving the few scant few who aren't pompose hipocrits to suffer for it. *blinks, then looks back at what she wrote* Er, sorry. Didn't mean to go off like that. *sheepish* sweatdrop Well, to be honest there's a lot of pagans (including Wiccans) who are pretty petty and hypocritical too... A lot of em seem more in for the fashionable aspects of the religion and not really possessed of much faith... Hell, most of the visible religions are fairly rife with false believers these days. Its kinda sad really that so many cannot hold to the beliefs that they profess or create loopholes for themselves...

Didn't mean to go off like that. *sheepish* sweatdrop The bad actions of the visible few screw over the less visible majority. That's how it always is. Take Inuyasha for example. There are a significant number of intelligent fans, but it's the rabid fanchildren that we see the most in AMC, so it appears that they are all idiots. It doesn't help that there's so many "dedicated fans" who can be so easily turned off to something just because other people talk about it... Its not like the domestic audiences have a lock on stupidity, I mean most shows have their fair share of moron fans even before they become popular fansubs.

I was just using Inuyasha as an example, because is was the first one that came to mind.

Mellikor Davran McKie What are the diffrent dload things i saw one that stream had looked alot diffrent than mine his looked well he had one windo for all dloads i get diffrent ones and his was better ... faster too. Hmm, he's probably using either BitComet or Azureus. Those are the 2 I know of that have a centralized interface as opposed to 1 per torrent. Torrentstorm. I shopped around and its just the right combo of complex enough to do all the things I want it to and ease of use.

hilaroma Zero Omega Note: Due to my grades (whenever they come), I may not be on as much. This also depends if I grab the grades before my folks. So if I just disappear, then my internet is either resticted or I'm kicked off. sweatdrop Best of luck with that. I know what it's like to run home at full speed just to make sure you get the mail before they do. I did that a lot sophomore year... sweatdrop Night! Well I'm lucky, my brother went back to school so that means I have more of a chance to grab my grades. sweatdrop

Phoenix315 I hate Evangelion. My reasoning can be summed up in two words. "It's Gendo..." I wasn't impressed with the plotholes... Having to buy multiple endings just the have a clue as to what happened failed to impress me.
