they said it'd be for a quest and i'm sure they'll stick to it. make people put up some kinda work to get a dark/light - devil/angelic - karasu/tenshi wings. though they'd make a killin' offa making people pay for them [halloween?]

They already made a killing.
They're up to 1.5m for their order numbers on donation items. At a minimum 2.50 per, that's $3.75 million that they've made on donations minimum in the last four years.

It's not so bad. If the Gaia staff can keep from going under the whim of theatres completely the site might remain worth checking out for another couple of years or so. I mean, we can already see how things have gone bad since 03, but there've been many good additions as well. Gaia just needs to strengthen the playerbase in the right areas of interest, and be a roleplaying/anime site like it was right through to the end.
