He caught the tail but began to lose his ground and footing. His bones were also beginning to fracture from the speed of the tail whip. He said one arcane word and word only, the darkness that cover his hand pulsed from it and into the tail, the tail began to darken. I hate this part. He dash back and then his arm flung itself back it twisted itself as if trying to break free from a hidden hold, shattering the bones in his right arm. "Come on, I want something that will entertain me at least. Not just some quick defence." He said, his right arm went limp.

Hope giggled a bit at the look on Ted's face. "W-well, he isn't exactly n-normal." she murmured quietly before blinking, her eyes widening as Sionet contacted her. Sionet! Keep yourself and your parents safe, we're coming for you. Promise.. then the connection was lost; Hope felt like she was missing half of herself now that the link had been closed. It was so empty..Hope shook her head slightly then turned and crawled over to Ted. "Sh-she's alive! S-sionet said that T-twilight has her p-parents..h-her m-mother's pregnant..sh-she said that she's g-going to break o-out." Hope's voice was urgent yet still quiet, just as it always was.

Xavier made a slow circle above the city, and spotted Shade with another down below with his keen eyesight. His beautiful purple eyes narrowed and he effortlessly glided down and landed near Shade, folding his great wings against himself and giving a deep growl from within his chest. Xavier's long tail slowly swung behind him and his sharp claws dug into the earth as he gripped the ground, his glorious scales gleaming in the twilight sun, the black markings boldly standing out against the brilliant white.

Hope shut her dark-blue eyes and nodded weakly, feeling a little bit better at Ted's comforting words and from his warm arm around her. "Y-yeah.." she murmured in her quiet voice, opening her eyes to stare down at the clothes Sionet had given her to wear; they were already dirty from her being on the ground so much, but they still fit her slim body well. Her eyes caught sight of a patch of flowers nearby, and her eyes lit up. Hope leaned over and began to pick some, and soon she had gathered a small bouqet. She looked up at Ted with a smile and held out the bundle of flowers towards him with her head tilted slightly. "For you!" she said in her soft voice, her slender fingers gently curled around the long stems to keep the flowers together.

"Well then, what do you suggest we do about that? From what I see there are three outcomes. You could start a fight and hope you win, I could win the fight, or I could just walk away. You have nothing I want after all."
Shade looks to the others. "I believe we're done here. From what he said, I gather we're going to have a hard time getting in, but I don't we can afford to wast any more time."

Osiris noticed Ryhn walking up and he leaned in close to her, smiling. "Feeling better?" he asked softly, cautious with his voice in case she had a headache.
While he was speaking, he sent out a second mental pulse to Twilight's minions, more urgent this time. He was currently operating without orders and without support, in the center of the enemy power. He needed something soon.

Xavier's deadly glare intensified, his lips curling back to show more of the razor sharp teeth that were easily capable of tearing most anything and anyone to shreads. "Your offer has been denied, and your threats are pety." when he spoke his voice was deep and smooth like it always was, although it had much more volume to it now that he was in his natural form. Soon enough he had run off. Xavier glared in the direction Kaotix had run off to, his body tensed; he was tempted to hunt him down and rip him apart, but he knew Shade was right, there were much more important things to worry about. Reluctantly Xavier turned his great head towards Shade, who was quite small compared to his large mass of a body. "Indeed, you are right; it would be wise for us to leave this place with the others imediately."

Netas felt Osiris' second pulse and one of her black ears twitched; she was currently in the form of a black panther, strong and sleek yet very, very deadly. Her mouth stretched open in a wide yawn and her front legs reached out, her round toes showing sharp, curved claws as she stretched. Then she relaxed, flicking her tail before standing up, letting her furr seemingly melt then harden into beautiful glossy scales that shone purple in the light, and her thin tail grew in length with scales melting and forming as it went until a triangular tip ended it.

Casually she lept off the stone city wall and onto the ground, padding silently about as long spines cracked through the scales all the way down from her neck to the tip of her tail. The sheathed claws extended and lengthed, sticking out instead of hiding inside the flesh. After slinking about for a while she spotted Osiris with a woman and silently moved t hrough the shadows to where she wouldn't be seen, easily hidden by her dark coloring. Netas sent Osiris a warm and deep purr, and a lovely yet deadly voice was contained withing it. For the time being we are free to do what we wish..the mistress has what she desires. that was the first time Netas had communicated using something other than pictures, thoughts or feelings.

Then she heard something and her head snapped to the side; it was a demon of some sort. Her scaled ears flattened against her head and her lips pulled back to show her teeth, her muscles rippling under her armor. Then in a flash, all where Osiris and the girl couldn't see, she was upon Zanath, her large paws crushing him under her weight as she hissed angrly. Netas' grey eyes were wild and untamed, screaming for blood and gore and the pleasure of killing to get it. All the while she sent the images of the small demon under her to Osiris, making him fully aware of the intruder.

Rhyn held in a scream at opening her eyes. Osiris right there would make anyone jump, though. So when he told her to stay there, she nodded her head quickly, silently hoping he would leave again. After all, she was part of the military. Although, it looked like she wouldn't be getting away from him any time soon. "Why me?"

Ted looked at the flowers, and a smile appeared on his face. A nice, soft one, different from the smirk that he had grown accustomed to. "They're beautiful, but I know where they would look better." After taking them, he started braiding some of them into a crown, placing it on her head, then taking some of the left over ones and wrapping them in her hair. "There. Much better."
