"I'll try and help..." Kankuro mumbled. He shifted in the bed, using his good arm to push himself up. He let out a slight groan, but didn't stop. Shifting his good leg, he partially dragged his bad leg along with as he slid over to the side of the bed. "I'm gonna need help... getting into the chair itself..." he mumbled.

"Okay, can't promise I won't hurt you though." Zaku said as he moved over and slid his good arm around Kankuros waist. "Ready?" he made sure to pull the chair over closer so that all Kankuro would need to do would be to turn around and sit.

Kankuro gave a grunt, and they moved together. He gave off another groan, but they got him into the chair. After a bit of arranging, his leg was propped up in one of the holders, and his arm was resting comfortably at his side. "I think if my ribs weren't broken, things would be a bit easier..." he mumbled, his good hand moving to rest over his side. "I guess i'll have to work on healing those, first... heh, as if I had a choice."

"I know how you feel, I've had to deal with broken ribs a few times myself." He snagged two pillows off the bed and held them out. "One for your bad leg and one for the arm." He carefully lifted the casted leg and slid a pillow under it, then handed the other pillow to Kankuro so he could get comfortable. "Let me know when you're ready to head out, you're the cripple right now."

"I ain't a cripple until I can't swing a punch..." Kankuro joked, giving Zaku's side a light, playful, punch. "I'm ready whenever you are..." he then added, using his good arm to take ahold of one of the wheels to help steer when Zaku unlocked them again. "There's a small courtyard further in within this hospital... It has a few fountains and a bunch of trees." he threw the information out in case the other male wanted to go there.

"Oww!" he said and held his side in mock pain. "That wasn't very nice, Kankitty! You should treat the one who's taking care of you better! Do you think your sister will go easy on you just because you can barely move?" he pushed Kankuro out the door and into the hall, giving a nurse a look as she started to come over to them.

Kankuro lifted his broken arm a little in a mock-wave to the nurse, and she stopped. "She will, and then she'll pound me into the ground when i've been given the okay to be back to normal..." he mumbled, hefting a sigh. "and some people wonder why I have to be so tough at school. If I let someone else pound me into the ground, she'll kick my a** even more after she beats them up... and that does something to a man's pride..."

Zaku laughed, the sound echoing off the walls. "I'm sure it does. As for you going back to normal, I don't think you were in the first place. You wouldn't be with me if you were 'normal'." He leaned down and placed a kiss on Kankuros cheek. "I'm not complaining about anything though."

"Well, as normal as I get!" Kankuro grunted. He grinned up at Zaku, and then shifted so they turned down another hall. "We're probably giving the nurses heart attacks, but I don't really give a damn, right now." He then yawned a bit, and blinked. "Aww, I better not fall asleep before we even get outside..." he mumbled.

He grinned. "Pick up your other foot and we'll go much faster. You want to give the nurses heart attacks, then we will as we run down the hall! And we'll get there before you fall asleep."

"Heh, think we can steer this thing well enough for that?" Kankuro asked, lifting his foot and setting it on a step that was on the chair to rest it on. "Either way, we'll need to get outside soon... my head's getting fuzzy..."

"The nurse just drugged you up, remember?" Zaku then started running down the hall, only going as fast as he though he could go without losing control. While they were already at the hospital, he didn't think it would be good to crash the chair and hurt him even worse. "Which way now?" he asked when he stopped at an intersection of halls.

"Hey, hey, none of that!" Zaku said to Kankuros yawn. He moved around to the front for a moment and gave him a nice hard kiss. "Kankitty sleeps enough, don't make me tape your eye lids open!" when he heard people yelling at him and telling him to stop, he quickly went to the back and headed off again. After the left and then the right, they saw the doors to the courtyard. "Good." He pushed the button that opened the doors, then went out. "Good thing it's not cold out."

"No... it's actually nice...." Kankuro murmured. He gave a soft sigh. "You think they're gonna follow us out here?" he then asked, holding the wheel with his good hand so they'd stop right next to a bench in front of one of the fountains. "Too bad they won't let me leave tonight..."
