Minos Vulcan StephODell Minos Vulcan StephODell Minos Vulcan The next day, Greed awoke, and slowly got out of bed. "Well, time to earn some cash." He got up, and walked over to the bathroom, to get ready for the day ahead. Umi slowly crawled out of bed, feeling nautious. She'd been okay for the past few days, but today she really didn't feel well at all. She cursed herself silently, and padded to the bathroom. Umi shook her head. " No...I can't do that...it's just a little morning sickness...I'm sure it will pass..." She took a deep, steady breath. " I hope." Umi put her hand on her stomach. " Goodness. I don't think it's supposed to be that big already, is it?" She blinked. " Well, I'll try not to move too much..."

I promise I'll take it easy today." Umi looked away, shaking her head. " It's nothing. Just some thinking out loud." Umi sighed unhappily. " It's just...some men came and talked to my Father once. They begged him to give me and my brothers to them. They said it was for reserch. Father told them to get out." Umi looked at her hands. " Those men frightened me. How did they find us?"

ZAchery sat ther with hes handes in a fisete and anger
the man in the cher stude up and walked towerds him his yeys looked cinde but the riset of him looked strangly formiler to Zachery.

Zachery stude up and folode the man into the nixset room. the man shut the door behind them the room looked like a timpol and in the midol of the room there was a sercol with simboles in it.
and int themidol of the sercol there woere shacoles Zachery was chand up in the midol of the sercol and his shert was riped off.
" prepar fot emines pane boy" the man stod at the other end of the door.

Eventually, Izumi managed to get ahold of a boat. She cramked the outboard motor, and drove it as fast as she could towards the island.

Halfway across the bay, the boat motor sputtered and died. Izumi swore, and cranked on the cord, trying to get it going again. Finally, she gave up, and clapped her hands together. She quickly transmuted the engine, hoping she fixed the problem. She yanked the cord one more time, and the engine roared to life.
I hope I didn't lose too much time, she thought.
