He led her to the kitchen, sitting her down once they had reached it whilst he went to make her a drink.

"forgive a dragon for asking the obvious, what did he know and whom didn't he stop?"

Concern had gotten the better of him, he had no idea if he could help her or not, but to see her looking like she did, he could not help but want to help her.

"That must be it"

He assured Aurora. Let her think he didn't care for Zaro.

By the time they got to Arioch's chambers, he stopped and rather than simply entering or knocking, looked at the door, the vibes coming from behind it indicated that Arioch was not alone. It made him uncertain if he should interupt the two lovers behind it, or if he even wanted to see Arioch anymore.

Aurora smiled as she knew what was going on. She looked to Joe, watching his expression on his face.

"What are you thinking incubus?" She asked quietly, the hint of a small echo comming from her voice.

Zaro lifted her gaze to watch Andras' back.

"A long time ago, before my first master, I was raped by what's referred to as a lesbian. I know it's crazy....but since then I haven't always liked being around women... Master Joe, too is haunted by women but two scare me.....no not scare. Terrify me. He wouldn't get them out of the house, despite knowing that fact..."

"That I'm making a mistake.. "

He replied to Aurora's question, leaving what it was exactly that kept him from simply walking in a secret from her, though she'd be able to pick up the uncertainty in his voice.

Whilst she still spoke, he put down a cup of herbal tea infront of her before sitting down, the look of concern on his face clearly visible now. He did not believe her master to be haunted by women, rather, had a liking for them, and it dissapointed him that he'd knowingly terrorised Zaro.

"he is.. " He stopped for a moment, almost as if he shouldn't say what he was thinking, before he continued ".. not the nicest of masters".

Aurora blinked.

"I thought Incubus enjoyed whatever they could get their hands on..."

She pursed her lips a little as she folded her arms. The uncertainity in his voice had her questioning.

Zaro shifted before taking a small sip of the tea and holding the cup in her slightly trembling hands.

"I've seen and met my fair share of masters who weren't the nicest...but even they weren't so foolish....or lack self control."

She took another little sip before putting the glass down. She was miserable with where she was...

He reached over to take her hand, to comfort her.

"he is incubus"

He pointed out gently.

"they don't have as much self control when it comes to lust than others"

Even his own mistress had problems at times with controling her urges, though it did seem that her father had far less control over such than she did.

Something seemed wrong though, if Joe knew Zaro had problems with women, why invite women over? and why then, did he seem strange both times he showed up here.

"did he invite them?"

"And what they can't get their hands on"

He responded smiling flirtatious at her before growing serious again.

"And that would be the problem.. "

With that, he knocked against the door, there was more reason for him asking Aurora to accompany him than simply getting her away from Zaro, one was to have someone to blame if Arioch got mad, the other was to force himself to confront the older demon rather than change his mind like he had been about to.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 22, 2007 10:11 pm

Zaro shook her head, her hand grasping his tightly.

"I don't think he did....They were already there when we had come back hours earlier....He seemed afraid of them even though he wanted them.....I became sick because of them....and sort of him..."

She suspected he had slept with them and it was what made her throw up...

Aurora shook her head. "They could get their hands on anything they can touch..."

She didn't want anything to do with the bird anyway...She'd scare the bird simply by being translucent and untangable.

Arioch grumbled, cursed and tore himself from Song's side. He swore if it was Raven again, he wouldn't care if she was in charge of the house. Her a** and soul were his.

Yet opening the door, nearly every trace of anger left the demon, but annoyance was still there. Seeing Joe he softened his expression a little. Last time he was there, Joe was pissed with him....

"Joe?"

"I don't blame you"

He assured her.

"if you want, I can talk to my mistress, see if she can find a way to make her father see how much he's hurting you"

Effectivly, Aurora had just told him he couldn't sleep with her, not whilst she was without a body anyway. For now though, that train fo thoughts was put at the back of his mind as Arioch opened the door.

The slightest trace of fear could be seen in his eyes as he looked at the older demon before he almost ripped his shirt away from his neck, revealing Arioch's mark on his neck.

"You need to do something about that.. "

"What can she do?"

She asked, sounding very doubtful. Her master seemed to not listen to anyone, let alone his daughter. At least that was her impression.

Arioch raised a brow and supressed a groan.

"Now what about it?"

Aurora just stood there, quietly watching. She faded from vision but she was still there....there was a tell tale sign of cold in one area...

"maybe not much, but he'd give her the world if it was his to give"

Maybe his mistress wouldn't do anything, maybe she would and her father wouldn't listen. Andras just had the feeling that she'd be able to make her father understand.

"Can you get rid of it?"

He asked, his own annoyance over shadowing the fear he had seemed to feel earlier.

Zaro studied the dragon.

"He cares for her that much?"

She asked. She'd never met the man's daughter so she didn't know.

Arioch blinked.

"I can....why?"

His tone went from annoyed to coolness, almost icy cold.

He nodded.

"yeah, he does"

Whilst Andras had tried to stay out of his way, he'd been around enough to know that the man in question cared deeply for his daughter, even if he didn't always show it too well.

He picked up the change in Arioch's voice and knew the question demanded an answer.

"Because I'm stuck in a nightmare"

His answer left a lot to be desired, but the incubus wasn't ready to admit what had happened quite yet. He was an expert at hiding what was going on inside of him, and here, in the corridor, with Aurora nearby and Song inside Arioch's chambers, he deserved to be vague.

Zaro looked at her tea which was growing warm as they sat there. She took a few more drinks of the liquid before she would say anything again.

"I wouldn't think he would...or could..."

Arioch's gaze narrowed. He sensed the ghost nearby, hell knew she was right there, and his muse was behind him and he was groaning softly. The look he gave the incubus was one that clearly said he owed the demon a hell of alot for what was occuring right there.

"he doesn't show it"

Andras assured Zaro. Out of the two masters, he was happy Alexis owned him, Joe had made sure of that. At the same time though, he had proven that he cared about his daughter more than anyone would guess, had done that when she had fallen pregnant and warned Andras to look out for her with reason as to why.

"for now though, you're safe from him and from the women who were at his place"

As far as Joe was concerned, he didn't owe Arioch anything. It was partially his fault for landing him in a nightmare of gender-confusing demons that had led to this request.

The realisation that Arioch was holding him responsible for interupting him and Song simply made him shake his head.

"Go, enjoy yourself with her"

With that, he walked away. The house held nothing he wanted anymore. He had come here for help, the same help he had hoped to gain by willingly entering into the service of Arioch, and the very same help that kept being denied to him.

"I'll take my chances with Domina.. "

He mumbled quietly, heading for the door.

(he's still nearby, just putting in where he's heading)

Arioch realized his own mistake and closed his door behind him. He could talk to Song on a later note...Joe, was a different case. Arioch was suppose to be his master...not the tormentor.

"Joe..." He said, following the other demon. He paused in his words, scents from Joe's form ringing in Arioch's mind, some familiar others not...the familiar ones were what sent warning flags at the same time just created something in Arioch that he couldn't explain.

"What do you want me to do, Joe Skase?"

Arioch came to the realization, one that would strike Raven on a later date. He couldn't keep Joe safe no matter how much he wanted too.

He reached out and grasped Joe's wrist and pulled him close, pushing aside the shirt and tilting his head so Arioch could move his mouth to where he had placed the mark. He pressed his lips to his skin before his tongue ran over the mark. A tingling sensation would fill Joe before the mark disappeared....

Arioch could scream at himself later... After he was done, he let go of Joe and took several steps back. He couldn't keep him safe no matter what, so it was useless in continueing the fight...

Arioch turned around then, his wings spread out so they concealed his clenched hands. Tears of red burned in the demon's eyes as he closed them and wouldn't look, touch or say anything to the incubus that was behind him.

Zaro nodded, taking his word for it. Somehow she had to get away from her master....yet she wasn't sure how that was to be...

She finished her tea and pushed the empty cup aside, folding her arms and resting her chin on them. She didn't look so pale this time....

He ignored Arioch calling him by name, though came to a halt as Arioch addressed him by his whole name. He made no effort to hide the dissapointment he felt. He shook his head, there was nothing Arioch could do that he hadn't done already and what he'd done had caused an interesting occurance to happen.

Fear, anger and dissapointment coursed through his body as Arioch took his wrist, though he let the older demon do what he wanted to do, half wondering if this close to Arioch, he'd have visions of Domina and finding some relieve that he didn't. It did not stop his fear from surfacing though, this time, fear of Arioch's touch more than the fact that Arioch went near his neck.

"thanks"

He muttered as Arioch moved away. It took him a few more moments before he was able to move again, but once he could, he left the house, without finding Zaro. He believed her to be safe, believed that the occupants in the house would be able to look after her. He owed no one inside anything anymore, belonged to no one and generally knew they'd cope without him being around. It was time to do what he had delayed, it was time for him to leave.
