well all the thinking goes into defending the tank. The tank just does all the major destruction.

Note to self: Frag the tank first against Dizy Lizy.

Tech Magos Sejanus You're talking about the Imperial Guard. It's hard to feel any Imperial Guard army, regardless of size, without a tank. I have three in my 1000 point army without counting my Macharius Heavy. Drop Troop armies, and I think Catachan, but I know less about them.

Catachan are more stealth oriented, setting traps, snipers, stuff like that. They may have a Sentinel here or there, but there strength is mostly in elite infantry.

yeah but the large majority of guard armies don't feel like guard without a tank or two.

Is an Enginseer and 4 Heavy Bolter Servitors as good as it sounds for 145 points? They're more accurate and tougher than Support squads, so...

I'd keep something in front of them. They may be tougher ad more accurate but they've not got as many wounds.

well if you have a few tanks to make the Enginseer worth it I think the squad would be quite useful. The point cost for the Servitors actually come out to be like 2 points less per servitor too so I have to say, yes if the enginseer has an effect use in your army the servitors are worth it.

Dizy_lizy lol you bet. My favourite gun is definately teh Earthshaker by far though. That's right, a single Basilisk,if defended properly, could decimate a entire army.

Well, in a 500 point game, I'd have to use my Exterminator. 167 points for a twin linked autocannon, three heavy bolters, a heavy stubber, and a hunter killer? That's worth it. Just put in that, a squad of Grenadiers, and my Thudd Guns. 12 Str5 AP5 small blasts a turn are pretty devastating...
I currently field two tanks, two APCs, three artillery batteries, and six heavy weapons teams. I am heavy on the big guns. cool
