"Well, of course, but how bad could they be?" Mike said with a wave of his hand. "Besides, I'll train a bunch before I take them on again so no sweat." He looked over to his Gym Leader friend. "Yeah, just a bunch of glorified theives, nothing really important."
Portabello hopped around in the shallow water on the beach, enjoying the coolness of the water.

"Wait until you battle Giovanni, Mike. You'll see what I mean," he shook his head then looked at Flannery, "That's right. We terrorized Saffron City, Goldenrod and kidnapped an entire herd of Miltank from the Moo Moo Ranch north of Olivine." He shrugged his shoulders.

((Here Mike I am giving you your gym battle now. And by the end of this battle you shall have a new respect for Normal pokemon and how wonderful they are. Hehe)) He was late he knew he was, it wasn't his fault really it wasn't. His kids had fooled around with his alarm clock and he had slept in. He had slept in past the time that would normally even make it to the gym. So here he was runninig from Littleroot town all the way to his gym in Pettleburg. There were two sets of key's one that belonged to his head trainer there and on that belonged to him so incase something like this happened the gym would still be open for people to train in and such. So anyway he was running from his home in Littleroot and was thankful, not for the first time that he was in pretty good shape. He skidded to a stop in front of his gym a bit of dust kicking up at the sudden stop, his normally pefect slicked back hair was somewhat out of place and he hurriedly smoothed it back befor entering the gym.
He greeted a few of the trainers as he walked by and finally made it into the final room and saw that there was a small note on his chair that he usually sat in. Curiosly he picked it up and read the small message on it befor smiling slightly. "Well it looks like we have a challanger to beat today." He said to himself as he flipped open his pokenavi and dialed the number on it and waited for this 'Mike' person to pickup.

Vacation post #1
As Dante followed Scott threw the various paths on the island he didn't really pay attention to him talk on and on about the island and the various trainers on it and how long it took to get it all up and running. Meowth who found him much more interesting then his own trainer was walking alonside him and talking back. Dante was looking at all the large flower fields and gardens and such with a bit more interest. Pausing to look over at Meowth and Scott who just continued walking on, he pulled out a pokeball and let out his first team mate, the beautiful black and white Ponyta.
Upon appearing out of the pokeball the horse pokemon looked around with his large watery black eyes befor looking back at his trainer. Dante smiled slightly befor reaching up and rubbing his soft muzzle. "Hey boy, I haven't been letting you out letly and I thought you might like it here." Dante said to the firey horse. Apollo whinnied slightly and shook his head sending a few embers into the air. Dante's smile grew larger and layed a hand on Apollo's neck and they started following Scott and Meowth again at a more leasurly pace. Occationally a trainer passed by who stared at the odd pair but both of them didn't pay much attention. Soon however they had lost sight of both Scott and Meowth.

Mike jumped a bit in the air at the sound of his Nav ringing, "Yah!" He yelped , nearly ripping the Nav out of his pocket. He studied the name for a moment, it was Norman. Mike clicked the Send button, putting it to his ear.
"Hello!" He said loud and proud to the Gym Leader.

Norman was a bit suprised at the quick response and chuckled into his end of the phone. "Hello. I am assuming that you are the one who defeated three of my trainers this morning and left this little sticky note on my chair?" He asked in amusement leaning back in his comfertable chair and holding it up a bit so he could inspect it.

Kilik stumbled slightly, looking at Mike. "Jeez!" he placed a hand over his heart, feeling as if it was about to pop out of his chest. He moved so quick and annouced 'Hello' quite loudly to him. Kilik looked at Flannery and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Is he always this...spunky?"

"Always," Flannery nodded, backing away from Kilik slightly. His casual tone while speaking of Team Rocket seemed to unnerve her, and she held onto Torkoal more tightly than perhaps she should have been.

"I'll tell you, though. He was quite the fighter against Team Rocket and myself," he shook his head, running a hand through his hair cooly, "I wasn't sure whether or not Giovanni would retreat or not. I'm somewhat glad that he did." Kilik crossed his arms across his chest once more, looking at Flareon, "Right?" The Pokemon barked and gave a nod.

Vacation post number 2
As Dante and Apollo walk through the area they spot a group of trainers and there pokemon. They seem to be talking about something and a few of them make motions over to where Dante and Apollo were standing. Curiose at this Dante exchanges a glance with his pokemon befor they both wondered over to the group. As they got closer the group grew quiet and watched them. "Um excuse me but what are you doing?" Dante asked as politely as he could, he knew that they were talking about him and Apollo and by the looks of things it hadn't been anything to nice.
One of the trainers sneered at him and said. "We were just wondering about why you would want to to have such an ugly and weak looking pokemon."
Upon hearing this Dante frowned while Apollo stomped one hoof hard against the stone walkway beneath them clearly insulted. "If that is what you think then clearly you must have something wrong with you." Dante said back coldly.

Mag walked calmly through the rest house before Viridian Forest. There were several people inside it. Some looked tired while others looked ready to go out and explore. Several people were toting around bug catching gear.
"Well Sunfire, this should be good for you with all the bugs we may face." Mag said to his pokemon that was walking beside him. "Flare!" it shouted in return.

"I wonder how much a fishing rod would cost?" Keegan said finally, as though he'd been somewhere else entirely. He paused, looking around the small port town for a moment, before he continued on. They reached the Pokemon Center with no trouble, although a group of kids all huddled together nearby made him slightly nervous. He stepped inside the building, not at all surprised to see it was much the same as any other center he'd visited before, and handed over his Pokemon, leaning against the counter and waiting for Kasiya to do the same.

"Wait, you two talking about me?" Mike asked placing his hand over the PokeNav. After no response was stated, he went back to Norman. "Yeah, that was me. I'm right on the beach and can head over in a minute if you have the time."

On his end of the line Norman smiled slightly befor saying. "Its my job to battle trainers, of course I have time. You can come over for a battle whenever you feel like it. And I will tell the trainers not to bug you when you come in."

"There's only one way to find out," Kasiya replied, her voice a bit more cheerful than before. Better to just act like nothing's wrong, she thought, nodding her head. Yeah, that's it. I'll forget about it all in no time, so for now I'll concentrate on cheering for Keegan during his gym battle. As she walked along, slowly, she too noted the group of kids, and grinned to herself. They were the same lot that she and Mike had messed with last time, the so-called 'trendy' kids. She strained her thoughts to try and remember the phrase Mike had told them, and after a while she started to laugh. "Locomotive Machine!" She continued along, entering the Pokemon Center, and glancing around. There wasn't anybody inside, save for the nurse. She too handed over her Pokemon, and plopped down on the couch, thankful to be off her foot.
