"Nope," she said with a shrug. "Sucks to be you. Try again next century."

"Librarian." The Recorder said, placing his hands on the time lady's shoulders, "I can't possibly stress the fact that we are the only Time Lords in this universe enough. We can fix that. Create a new Gallifrey! Blow up a sun! And all that jazz!"
(I can see the Recorder's descent into villainy from here.)

The Librarian biatch slapped the Recorder across the face. "Maybe it's for the best that we're the only ones, have you thought of that? We Gallifreyans had too much power. All the time-travelers, in fact. I don't want this world to be corrupted." She paused. "Besides, we don't know there's anything remotely resembling Gallifrey here."

"Too much power? We couldn't even stop the Daleks, to say nothing of our own destruction, from what you've told me! If we can do this properly, we can rule the universe! A new Time Lord Empire, even greater than the last!" The Recorder didn't notice the slap, or at least, pretended not to. He was far too caught up in his own monologue to care. "More importantly, I'm not about to let you stop me!"
(The Recorder's next incarnation will be played by John Simm.)

Sighing, the Recorder set her sonic screwdriver to what she affectionately called her red brain scrambler setting, and aimed it at the Recorder. The setting generally caused insane headaches, vomiting, unconsciousness, and in very rare cases, raging diarrhea, and in more rare cases, all of the above.

The Recorder fell to the ground. "Should've seen that coming..." He cringed, holding his head in his hands, as he passed out.

{Please tell me if I should edit.}
Mala remained silent, not bothering to say anything further at the moment lest she get involved in something big and horribly annoying.
The goddess(I forgot her name, shall look it up before next post) watched with slightly widened eyes as Van entered the inn with a party of humans. Why would he keep humans with him? Wasn't he a loner before? Better yet, why was he near a woman with a child? Didn't he hate children??

"Oh for the love of...Who is it this time?" Van recognized another godly power in the room and squeezed his eyes shut in the dread of whatever would come next. "And can't we go a week anymore without having someone out for my head or girlfriend?"

"I'll kill someone if you want," Angel said cheerily. "Jez can, too. Right, Jezzy?" She nodded. "I also do incapacitations. Oooh, lady-god blood." Angel had just found the scent in the air and was nearly salivating.

Mala shook her head slightly. "People, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can avoid them all completely this time." she said in a hopeful tone.
Vivium didn't approach just yet, but instead decided to keep an eye on the group - learn of their relationship to Van and hopefully of why he's out of that ring to begin with.

"Besides, you know what that stuff does to you Angel." Riley said as they took a seat at a table. "You get all loopy and then you get a hangover and then I lose blood to cure said hangover."
"Well, back to business then. There's a pillar out there somewhere that acts as the gods' power source and it's currently busted. Anyone know any sort of myths or legends about the gods that might give us a clue?" Van said.

"I've heard plenty of myths and stories during my days as a priestess, however, I can't be too sure if they relate to anything or if they are just boasts of sexual conquest that didn't actually happen." Mala said, thinking back on the situation.
