Lehran walked up and smiled at Sage. "it's good to see you're doing well" he looked at Chase still asleep on the bed. "I am sorry" he said as he patted Chase's hand and turned to Sage. "you truely did a great thing for Chase today going back in and saving him, I honestly think I wouldn't have been able to save him back there. You truely are the best thing that's ever happened to him." he sat down. "how are you feeling, more than that now that Ayumi has been summoned back home how do you feel about the idea of being the mother figure of his son, techincally since you were holding that rock the whole time he got some of your genes as well."

Lehran smiled. "I know you'll do a great job helping Chase take care of him, but you helped him more than you can imagine. The power used to take out your former master also killed Chase, so he reformed himself, and then he died again. This was happening over and over again the only reason why he didn't stay dead was because I was forcing the rock to stay in one piece." he held it and gave it back to Sage. "here it belongs to you, he trusted you with it and that's a lot of trust for him to put in one person are you sure you can handle it, you right now hold Chase's life in your hands." he smiled. "but I can tell you this when we fought as one, you were the only thing on his mind, he loves you very much please don't betray that devotion he has to you, I don't think you will but I can never be sure." Little Chase moved his sleep with a look of comfort on his face. "seems his son has the same trust in you Tess"

Chase then started to stir and wake up as he winced when he tried to sit up and Lehran rushed to his side and helped him sit up. Chase looked around. "Sage are you ok?" he said weakly. Lehran smacked the top of his head. "you're in no position to worry about anyone right now." he smiled. "good to have you back." he turned to Tess, "I'm glad you at least feel something for him, I'm sure he will grow to adore you if you spend enough time with him."

Chase held her and kissed her. "it's ok Sage, you're safe and no longer burdened by your old master. I'm so glad. Just stay in my arms for a little while, it feels nice to hold you again." Lehran smiled walked over to Tess and Lilly, "lets leave them alone for a little while, love is strongest when the two are alone." he walked to the door "Tess and Little Chase might find that out later, when he is old enough know what it is." he laughed. "my my Chase how you have changed since we first met." he walked out the door.

Lehran sat down and watched Tess take care of little Chase. "you know he can talk" he said as Little Chase started to wake, "maybe you can teach him to say your name Tess."

Chase kissed Sage. "I love you too, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "I was so afraid I was going to lose you and now that I know your safe I've never felt happier."

Chase kissed her back and pulled the covers over them. "I want to be with you always Sage" (time skip Chase and Sage for right now?)

Lehran looked at Little Chase woke up and looked at Tess. "Pretty" he smiled and lifted his arms towards her. Lehran said to him. "her name's Tess boy" Little Chase kept his arms up. "pretty Tess pretty Tess."

Lehran looked up hearing thumps coming from upstairs and figured out what it was and didn't say anything. "So Tess Lilly how are you two feeling right now after this whole mess are you two ok" LIttle Chase stood up and wrapped his arms around Tess and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "ha ha quite a romancer isn't he."

Several minutes later Chase was holding Sage close kissing her repeatedly. "how are you feeling Sage?"

Lehran smiled. "perhaps it's time for me to leave, at least I need to do so soon" he looked out. "I can't stay here much longer." he looked at Tess. "I'm sure you will make a good guardian for him and Lilly seems like an excellent teacher for you" he handed Lilly a small necklace. "use this to contact me so when I leave if I'm needed you can get in touch with me, I trust you will if the time comes." he looked up "I'll wait till they come downstairs to say good bye."
