Mort looked over at the two. "Oh no. Such a horrible thing to tell a child." she said sadly then raised an eyebrow. "I smell... wierd?"

Mort hadn't seen the smile. She could only sense people's feelings. "You don't have to lie." She said softly and sitting next to her. "She had to know. It would be a sin not to and let her live on not knowing about her father." She said, brushing the hair out of her eyes.
