Mr. Crawley Well apparently the horns were bladed.. so my hands were supposed to be sliced off and all kinds of stuff just for grabbing it. Because everyone knows that when your character has some beast mode transformation... it's something completely unnatural or implausible, like a guy with bladed horns. Or knives for hands. The lack of opposable thumbs must have been a b***h to overcome throughout his tens of thousands of years of evolution.

Which is how they learned to utilise more then 10 percent of their brains and develop telekinesis/magic/planar psionics/whatever.

"My power comes from God so you cant neutralize it cause I am not using it!" I was suprized at how often I get this response.
I gave up any type of neutralizing effect because of the mass amount using that excuse.

No they didn't. They don't have a reason for it, they just do it.
Gaian character race concepts make about as much evolutionary sense as cartoon Lemmings.
"Let us charge blindly on, regardless of danger or purpose! We'll reach the promised land before we die gruesome deaths!"
...did you ever think that God wanted them to go extinct?
I should make a character that's a Darwinist... going around exterminating all the evolutionary dead-ends in Gaia.

I was fighting someone earlier who's character has died five times.
Both IC and OOC I shake my head at that.

*Counts the times his characters have died.*

*Counts the times his characters have come back from the dead.*
1
*Determines whether or not this was the same character.*
No
*In the light of these facts, headshaking is permitted.*

themightyjello themightyjello If it's out of desperation then you'd have nothing against fighting dirty, hitting them with anything you can get your hands on, or anything like that; getting pinned isn't going to end the fight unless it's a KO chokehold. Mr. Crawley Or a nice joint lock that they can't get out of. But the fight's not over with a joint lock. If they can't move, and you won't let go, then you stand there at a stalemate until something happens. If you break something, it'll hurt like a b***h but they're still there. Sometimes it'll compromise the hold, too. Fight to the death =/= wristlock. I said a nice jointlock. But it's not a stalemate if I have a dominant position.. A position that clearly hurts them. And they cant get out of it. Like an armbar. Or knee bar. Or kimura.

I gave up any type of neutralizing effect because of the mass amount using that excuse. Reiko's reply. "So let me get this straight.. you're saying that your god cant give you the strength to save you from an armbar without setting you on fire? I'm stronger than your God? WORSHIP ME!"

No. A Kimura is a shoulder lock that threatens to twist the shoulder out of the socket.

*Gives up.*
Not worth the effort to find the right witty pic to respond with. Google fails me.

For some reason it reminds me of 08th MS Team were the main character tore off his Gundam's arm to bash the enemy.
